i love the location of this hotel and the activities included just within feet of our room!
the walls are definitely NOT soundproof and the power happened to go out during our stay for a short amount of time

outdoor pool was good, but needed to be swept and weeded

It's a really friendly, quirky no frills but plenty of character kind of place. There's a great bar and restaurant on the property. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Having terraces on both sides of the room was really nice.
It needs some updating. The carpet was a little nasty and the tub wasn't draining well. The room was huge but dark. Needs some better lighting.

The bar was amazing and the fireplace outside all in all we had a great time
The room needed better pillows

Such a cute place! Staff was nice. Rooms were clean. The on site restaurant and bar were wonderful.

The staff was great and the bar is most definitely a selling point! Our room was not one of the renovated rooms but it was clean and large.
The door lock was easy to use to open the door, but a pain to use to lock it. We found it easier to just wait the minute for it to automatically lock itself. It was also a little problematic, at times, to only have one key between the two of us, but we made it work. Not really a big deal.

Rodd at the front desk was so helpful and friendly.

Great location. Live music at the bar. Large space of room.
At checkin, male argued with me about charging for a service dog. Stated they don't honor ADA. The room did not have a table and chairs like the 2 vacant king rooms on each side of us. There was nowhere to put suitcases except bed or 1 sitting chair in room. The deodorizer smell was overwhelming. Rusted out stairs. Loose plank on back walkway of building. Cracked peeling paint throughout room. 60's counter, sink, toilet. tub. All very old and dingy. 2 very small/dim table lamps were only light in room. No parking available when there's live music at the bar.

The rooms need to be updated a bit. Like the tile in our bathroom wouldn’t even allow us to close the door

Location was great and the bar is great.
The parking is bad when they have a band playing and if it is ever booked up you can't hardly find a spot at all.

No complaints

The rooms have been updated nicely, bed was really comfortable and the Gravel Bar was such a fun place to hangout, great live music both nights we were there!
Bathroom could use a little upgrade, but it is still very vintage and functional!

Great location. The grounds were clean. The staff was very kind and even funny as hell. I laughed all the way to my room. Great welcome. Very kind. The room was clean, comfortable, and we had our very own parking because it was a bungalo. The bed was perfect. It was charming. Over all a great experience.

The on site bar and the atmosphere of the entire grounds.
I like everything, nothing was bad at all.

quaint, cool room set up, near everything without being right in the middle of everything
bed uncomfortable (to us) - very soft/saggy; air conditioner quit working (we did fix it by unplugging it a few times but that was middle of the night…)

View and quietness on backside of main building. JT bartender and Kiesha very helpful in orientation. Free live entertainment. Reasonable prices for food and drink.
Softer towels.

The Wanderoo Lodge is a 'one stop shop'. It has everything you could want. Good food, entertainment and location. Service was also very good. The fire pit was a nice touch. The staff's recommendations of things to see/do were very helpful.
I thought the price was high. Nobody wore masks even though at times the deck was quite crowded. There really isn't anything more I could 'ding' them for. This place is a great find!

That we could have our dogs there. The room was pretty clean and surprisingly spacious
The room smelled very strong of deodorizer or cleaner maybe? ALLL night until at least 4am people are stomping around above you and talking on speaker next door and you can hear the conversation very clearly at 7am. I did not sleep well those 2 nights. Our neighbors door wouldn't even shut so they had to leave with it slightly open. Very outdated

The overall atmosphere was wonderful and friendly. The wanderoo cabin we stayed in was huge, well stocked and comfortable. Will stay again.Gravel bar is fabulous.
The front door to the cabin was hard to open each time.needs brighter ceiling light in the kitchen.

Loved the location. Having the restaurant & bar with live music was a definite plus!
The bathroom needs some work. My husband is 6ft tall and the shower head was way to low. Plus when you turned the water on...it was freezing cold or scolding hot.

Walking to gravel bar , location, clean basic room.
Low water pressure in bathroom sink. Curtains let in light of morning.
