Je n’ai rien aimé

Il y avais des coquerelle et punaise de lit dans la chambre. Aucun frigidaire ni micro-onde. La chambre étais extrêmement sal. Le propriétaire n’a pas voulu nous rembourser un sejour de 2h complètement degueulasse. Je ne recommande pas cette place.

Just did not feel comfortable in this space given these concerns and left first thing in the morning

Easy reservation.

Room not ready on timely arrival. No TV remote (attendant said it was stolen). Broken curtain rod. coffee stains on bathroom wall by switch. cigarette hole in bedding. Inadequate door lock.

I would say the convenience was great and the little cottage was cute.

I liked the proximity to the highway, the ease of checking in and checking out, and the privacy of the room i thought the cottage was very cute.

Some of the dishes in the little kitchenette were dirty (had some sort of brown crusty stuff on the bottom), there was a gap around the doorway letting some cool air in and the blankets on the bed were a bit thin for winter in Maine. I also slipped in the driveway as it was not shoveled, nor were the stairs and had no ice melt.

I would not return but ok to crash there for a one night stopover

The room and bathroom were clean and the bed linens were clean, flooring was newer and clean so that was comforting.

Broken bedside lamp which was the only room light. You had to unplug it to turn off. Dangerous broken switch piece protruding where you normally turn on and off. Small shower stall. No ice, I asked at front desk and was given a few cubes

Look elsewhere is possible

Location was the only decent thing about this place

Upon first check in there was hair all over the tub and toilet. Rug was still dirty with leaves from outside. Mattress was stiff and not comfortable at all. Office is 100% unreachable after dark. Called the front desk bunch of times to ask for ice or ice machine and every extension said “Invalid entry.” Woke up in the morning to no power, out of their control I understand, but still was unable to reach office by phone. No generator either so had to shower and pack up in the dark.

Maybe some other rooms have better lighting or amenities but we won't be back.

There was no hair dryer or coffee pot, although these were not mentioned in the description of the amenities. The worst part was the darkness in most of the room. There was no overhead light. There was a light (with one bulb out) over the sink (across from the bed) and a dim table lamp on one side of the bed, but the alcove with the bureau and TV and a second alcove around the corner with a minifridge were in almost total darkness. There was no ice machine. The desk did supply us with a small baggie of ice that looked like it was leftover from a defrost. At checkin I was told they hadn't run the card yet and charged me for the room; fortunately the morning staff realized that I had already paid Booking.com and I was credited the second payment.
