It was technically a place to sleep.
My partner and I pulled back the comforter on the bed and found small hairs, and a whole fake eyelash stuck to the topsheet. She removed the lash, but this faux accessory must have polyped and budded as she kept finding more eyelash extensions stuck to her body when she would get up from the bed through the night. For real? Theres no way the hotel even bothered to change the sheets between stays. If the place offered reasonable rates for the American Horror story-esque accommodations, maybe I could turn a blind eye but it was equivalent pricing to way better options in the area. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Upon arrival, you can’t enter the building because you have to be buzzed in. I booked this room out of desperate need, but I should have read the reviews more carefully. I was told I could not check-in early and would be told when the room was ready. At this point, it was 3:20pm. I didn’t even feel comfortable enough to come back to the property to check-in and had to book somewhere else. I asked to cancel and for my money back, and they’re giving me a hard time.
The area itself is OK, but the hotel is not. The staff is unprofessional and not helpful.

The south Tampa location was decent. But this motel is directly behind a grocery store, between a vacant building that looks like it’s used for storage and a vacant lot with a port-o-potty and discarded building materials like a sink. Not to mention the residence across the street is overgrown and has junk strewn all over the property and a broke down RV in the front yard.
The place lacks normal security, it is dirty. The kitchenette was so discussing I was afraid to even look in the kitchen. It appears that some rooms may be long term rentals. The fire detector was hanging by its wires. The bed sheets appeared unclean and the pillows had stains. Their were plastic bins like the type that hold brochures that were full of dust.

The room was very cute . And updated. Loved loved loved the shower with double shower heads and the rainfall effect. Very relaxing. Loved thr jacuzzi tub. The room was small and vintage style but loved it.
It was a bit more expensive than I thought it should have been but the location was very quiet and private.

The place was well kept for my surprise and after I saw other reviews. Nice size refrigerator. Bathroom very nice.
Only thing that was not to standards was the bed sheets that had human hair.

location near Hyde Park and Hospital

This hotel takes me back to when I was a child. Floors are REAL hardwood.... It is an old building, very quaint, with modern upgrades. It is quiet, bed is comfortable....you are able to walk around to restaurants, coffee houses and grocer. The rooms have a small kitchenette with a full size refrigerator/ freezer. The price is good, especially with free parking on site! Every hotel I've been to near the hospital charges $25 (minimum) daily to park.
Manager is onsite if he is needed. Room is clean, small bars of soap in brm, soap(liquid) is in a dispenser in shower. ( I always bring my own anyway!) Kitchen has dishsoap and sponge scrubber, paper towels.
Locking system for rooms. It would be better to upgrade to an electronic lock/ keypad. The method of entry/ unlocking/locking is archaic....probably circa 1945......lol

I loved our stay! The room was so cozy, the bathroom was beautiful, and the smart TV made it so easy to listen to music and watch movies! We were only able to stay for one night, as we came into town for an event…but I would have loved to extend my stay if we had more time! The location was perfect and it was walking distance from a grocery store that made it easy to get snacks for the room.
This was mostly user error, but we did not figure out how to use the air conditioner at first. When we got everything adjusted, however it was perfect!

We were warmly greeted and found the room charming. The price was perfect since we were eating at Bern's Steakhouse and saved on the lodging to enjoy a great meal. The lockbox outside the room was a nice surprise. We did not have to keep up with a hotel key.
The a/c wouldn't go below 69 degrees. We are from the South, so we do like our nights on the chilly side. Other than that our stay was great.
