The staff was so accommodating, welcoming, and helpful. From the moment we checked in and even after check out. We interacted with Destiny many times and she was so helpful, especially after we realized we left one of our sneaker bags there. She made sure it was located and shipped out quickly.
The only thing I wished they had at the INN would be an outdoor pool for the kids. Otherwise, it was an overall great stay!

Lovely location
Dated facilities, place needs remodelling

Beds were comfortable
Pool area was dirty. There was dirt at the bottom of the hot tub. The pool was freezing. Kids went in and came right out. Windows are dirty. We stayed here 2 years ago and it has really changed.

i have been taking my little one skiing annually. I was here last year the floors in the room were scary to even step on as the carpet looked like it hasn’t been cleaned from the 1970s. I recently read a few reviews that said the rooms were renovated and decided to give them another try. I can vouch the rooms are now much better and no
more carpet!!! indoor pool and hot tub that closes at 10pm! 5 minutes from Shawnee mountain can’t be beat. the breakfast was great and reasonably priced! I am happy I gave them a second chance and would definitely stay here again for our next trip!

the outside of the building is beautiful as it is an old estate but the inside has been poorly updated. the location on the Delaware river and near the Shawnee mountain for snow sports was good. the indoor pool was nice for kids but also in need of renovations
it needs major renovations, the rooms were run down with paint chipping and messy and inexpensive updates done … it did not feel clean or in line with the price point

When we realized their "double beds" were the size of twin beds, they upgraded our room to a king and a queen. The hotel was generally clean. The staff were nice and helpful.
The hotel is old and run down. I was surprised that they haven't renovated. Our windows didn't lock, the door to our room was missing a chain lock and the furniture was old and worn.

Our 2 night stay was for New Year's Eve. The staff is fantastic. Every person we met from the housekeeping crew to the manager were incredibly friendly, polite and accommodating. They all went the extra mile to assure a great New Year's celebration for all of the guests. Dining options were good and the food was definitely above average. We ate at the Shawnee Craft Brewery, the Bakery and the River Room.
Given the age of the resort, it is overall very well taken care of. That being said, there were things that you would expect from an older resort; chipped and cracked paint (although they were re-painting several areas during our visit), worn carpeting in common areas, and pretty banged up furniture in some of the guest rooms. The beds and bathrooms were very clean and the Wi-Fi worked very well, which was good because cell phone reception is sparse.

As soon as I walk in I waited to be checked in and the manager who was extremely friendly and bubbly walks to me and ask if he can help me with anything and made sure I was being helped. The hotel has such charm and is unique. The room was a comfortable size for 2 and the view was amazing! Beautifully decorated for the holidays. The Shawnee Brewery had live music and unique beer taps. Last day of our stay we had breakfast at the RiverRoom and the view of where we were seated was unbelievable! The food was served buffet style and had amazing choices of different meats, fruits, pancakes frenchtoasts cereals you name it! The hotel also had a bakery which had a hot cocoa bar for the holidays which was fantastic. Wonderful stay and will definitely be going back!
The sheets were a bit dirty unfortunately but nothing to really bring any attention to.

The location and character of the hotel.
Step into the bathroom but it’s a historical building so can’t be avoided.

The setting is beautiful. The facilities are a little bit outdated.
The hostess at the Keystone restaurant was not very friendly or helpful, even though we had reservations.

Loved the hotal and the staff
Gem & keystone restaurant turned us away more then 3 times once they stopped serving early! Once they had a party so thwy qerent serving anyone else river room also closed their room early i guess not enough guests for their liking.

golf course, brewery, outdoor music
everything else. we cancelled, turned the keys back in and drive home the girl said we’d have to work through Booking.com for a refund.

I would of preferred more options then the coffee shop sandwiches maybe another restaurant on property with options
The rooms are a little smaller than I thought they would be but still didn't feel cramped. Also there should be a kiddie pool
maybe an outdoor one instead of just the indoor one also maybe more than one jacuzzi it gets a little crowed when everyone tries to go at once.

The general store outside of the resort has descent food.
Dinner quality at River was not worth the money, however the service was very good. The room is small, TV was out of date, and bathroom amenities were dated too.

we go here yearly, it’s close to where we want to go. it’s a beautiful location and historic.
There was a man who was very loud walking up and down the Delaware lodge being very loud and was drinking looking for someone. multiple people had to come out and tell him to be quiet. I tried 4 times to call the front desk and absolutely NO ONE answered and it was upsetting.

They put us in a room right next to another room where they were doing construction. We complained at checkout as they started hammering and talking early. Front desk said it was our fault because we didn't call the front desk and complain. Front desk manager was super rude. We have a disput in with booking.com

The Grounds are absolutely beautiful in that they are surrounded by natural, minimally disturbed lands.
the golf course is an amazing 27 hole course on approximately 300 acres. of which 24holes are on an exclusive island.
The breakfast buffet in the River Room was sufficiently stocked with good variety, including an omelet chef.
Air conditioners and ice machines are not operational, no hangers in rooms, (called 3 times for hangers at the beginning of our 3 day stay, .....and never received them) No gift shop available to acquire forgotten conveniences
like a wine bottle opener, or sun glasses, or sun screen, etc.

Truly gorgeous and unique property with lots of activities. The beer garden was beautiful and fun as well! Staff was also helpful and kind.
The facilities are definitely old, the rooms quite dingy and really need to be updated, but of course updating a building like that has a very high cost. Not sure it was worth the price.

The area is beautiful and the staff is very nice. The on site brewery is amazing.
Our stay was great. However, I do not think it was worth $200 a night. I was expecting outdated from previous reviews but nothing like we saw. The room and bathroom were tiny. It was tight to get around, I even cut my leg on the bedframe trying to get into the closet. The bathroom had no hot water until our 2nd day. We notified the staff Friday (shortly after check in), and they said someone would be up to fix it. When we got back that night it had not. We didn't have hot water until Saturday around 2. When we did get to shower there was no fan so the rest of our stay was very humid in the room. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling and the bathroom door was falling apart and had a hole in it.
