The towels and soaps and fine.
The room was not clean. There was a food wrapper on the floor, the pictures on the wall were scummy, there was hair in the sink. and I think there were crumbs in the bed, The breakfast was poor, there was no clock in the room. The breakfast food looked disappointing and not much selection. Thr trash containers outside were full and just about overflowing.

Breakfast was better than anticipated, lots of food choices. The bed was very comfortable and clean.
The carpet was very dirty, needs to be cleaned or replaced. Lighting in room was dim. There was a musty smell to the room.

Location, remodel
Rooms were dirty, pool was trashed.

The staff was very accommodating. We originally had a first floor room and was able to move to the second floor which we felt was safer and more comfortable
The outside areas and stairway areas could use a thorough cleaning. The garbage cans were overflowing and the stairway areas were very dirty

The tub, bathroom. and bedroom floors had very obviously not been cleaned. When we went to the desk to let them know his response was " would you like a broom". If we are paying for a room we certainly do not intend to have to clean it upon arrival. He said he would see if he could be in touch with housekeeping. After a wait we found and talked to a housekeeping person who immediately got on of the laundry workers to come and clean for us. I also was unhappy to find out that the front desk had a kitten they were keeping behind the desk as I am very allergic to cats. Many of the breakfast items we missing and the food staff did not seem to be in any rush to get them replaced as they were just standing around visiting. We had to ask if there was more coming and then they went to get refills.

The lobby was okay
Was not up to the normal standards you would expect from a Red Lion Hotel. There had been Sheetrock work done in the room that my 10 year old grandson could have done better. Curtains at window did not cover the windows correctly. Had to stuff a pillow in the opening to close it off. This was not because the curtain didn’t function properly, it was because it was installed incorrectly. I could go on but this hotel is not worth wasting anymore time on!

Clean good value
Breakfast was offered but the food selection was lacking

The beds there are clean and very comfortable. Rooms/bathrooms are clean. Climate control (window unit) is good. They have good quality/size bath towels. They have a decent breakfast, with several choices of foods.
I've stayed at that Red Lion, in Missoula, many times over the years, since 2017. It was once a very good motel. They have been "renovating" since at least 2020, but I've seen no progress in those renovations. In fact, the exterior building has continued to decline in appearance. The pool has been closed for many years now. Wi-Fi is so slow, it's virtually non-existent.

The beds were comfortable
Floor dirty; our dog spilled some of their drinking water, walked through the water jumped on the bed leaving dirty paw prints. Bathroom fan did not work, light switches loose. Refrigerator was warm, may have been turned off. Alarm clock did not work.

closest hotel to where I need to be that was available.
The guy at reception was so rude. Large gross stains on the room carpet. Tile falling off of the bathroom wall.

Bed was fabulous!
Door lock wasn't fully secured to door. Could hear the upstairs guests clearly from the room.

Not what I expected. Front desk staff friendly…computer slow! Beds were comfortable, shower (no tub) pressure good. Tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion-just enough for one person. Outside entrances to rooms. No elevator to second floor. Breakfast minimal. Coffee/hot water available all the time in lobby. Would not recommend for the price paid!

Dirty and poorly cared for. Front desk staff appeared intoxicated.
