Great budget stay, but needs a little work

It was a quiet place centrally located in Camarillo which is great, the staff was amazing, and the room was very clean.

The bed was extremely firm, ac unit was very noisy, bathroom was really small almost difficult to shower in and I’m not a big guy, and the walls could be a little thicker so you can’t hear your neighbors.

Basic, clean rooms at a great price, but beware!!!

The location is perfect, in downtown Old Camarillo with ease access to the freeway.

We stayed in room 105, which backs up to an alley, slightly below street level. If you open the shutters, the view was of several trash cans. The walls are paper thin. We could hear the neighbors talking in their room and could hear the people above us moving around. A gentleman decided to have a conversation out in the parking lot in the center of the hotel. We could hear both sides of conversation since there’s no is sound proofing. The WiFi is really weak and we had difficulty getting service in our room. The bed mattress was extremely soft and uncomfortable. It should be replaced. Absolutely no support.

Glad we stayed here

Excellent location, could walk to restaurants and stores. Free parking, clean room with fridge and coffee maker. Excellent cafe on the property.

Definitely clean, nice area to walk around, front office could have been more friendly receptive

I liked the location but the town is very quite in that area, no real night activity like music or band at one of the bars or sites.

Had to take a handicap on the 1st floor due to availability. Wanted to be in a balcony on or on the 2nd floor. No desk to sit at in the room and bathroom has no counter or cabinet so no where to place bath items. Shower did not have a place to hold any items like shampoo or soap it was a plastic bin outside the shower to hold that stuff. Could be how handicap units work.

We enjoyed our stay very much, would recommend and stay again.

The room was very clean. The bathroom was a little small and an elevator would have made it better. Next time we'll make sure to book a room on the first floor, as we're a little older and my husband has bad knees. Loved the location, really cute area with shops and restaurants you can walk to. The cafe I have to say was excellent. The food was delicious and the staff are top notch.

nice quaint hotel, without the possibility of fresh air.

nice quaint rooms located in a the civic center, had a great checkin experience. appeared clean upon checkin.

no fresh air, due windows were locked shut. odor in bathroom was not so pleasant at first and got progressively worst. not sure if plumbing problem.

It's coziness, it's quaintness, the staff, and little restaurant that's conveniently next to the hotel has great food too.

The grounds keeper blew dust all over my white car.

We enjoyed our visit, especially breakfast next door at the Old Town Café (with 10% discount).

We often travel as a group of three. It was nice to find a suite with three beds for a reasonable price. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Great location close to the freeway.

The bed was a little soft, but my roommates enjoyed their beds. It was difficult to figure out the shower, although the water flow was great. The room was a bit warm, but it was a very hot day. The air conditioner was somewhat noisy.

we fell in luv with Camarillo, we will definitely be back

this was a charming hotel, I luv that they took something old and made it new again. Norell check us in and was so pleasant, the room was clean and fresh. the location was perfect, what a great lil town.

the shower was a bit small, but the balcony view made up for it
