Location
When I booked, I advised my 83 year mother was travelling with a wheelchair and requested a bathroom for a handicapped person. The Motel management only advised they did not have a handicapped bathroom after the option for free cancellation expired and the full amount for the 3-day stay was processed on my credit card. I was deprived of the option to choose a different hotel. Very disappointing.

It was nice and close to the border. We were crossing in the morning so it was perfect. A nice and clean room. The office people were efficient and had things taken care of for us.

For the age of the building it is well maintained

The hotel room was bare bone but clean, which was fine with me. It was surprising to me that it did not supply soap, shampoo, and basics that are standard in hotels throughout the US and most of the world. I used tooth paste as soap and didn't shower.
With Covid-19 ravaging the world, sanitation is a top priority, some soap would be nice.
The blanket was very thin and worn. It didn't seem to meet the basic standard of a hotel blanket.

The location it's walking 2 minutes to peace arch park. But don't try to sneak in the park otherwise you will face too many questions like movies. Hotel was nice peaceful no surround sound. Owner lady is very nice. As her for anything she was nice and smile 😃 thank you maan for spoon and plates
No water in room and owner man was too much extra talkative. He was insisting on using card. I am travelling as tourist and don't trust as I was been extra charged before but the owner man was too much.

It was evident that the owner has made effort to improve the mote. New flooring, and furniture, beds. They kept is clean and were friendly.
Some of the flooring was loose and squeaked when walking on it. One drawer in the bathroom vanity was repaired with packaging tape. The shower head could be better if replaced. The staff need to not be talking (on cells phones) while walking at night past the rooms, it disturbs the early to bed patrons.

Bed was fair.
Cleanliness was awful. Tons of black hair in bathroom and on floors. Coffee maker made coffee water! Motel was very, very old. Neighborhood poor.

They have no compassion or understanding! My husband was going to see if son left bag of new clothes n they said wait until tomorrow? Why tomorrow? He went next day and motel Mgr. Said there was no bag of new clothes! Probably took them!
