Catfish of a hotel. Disgusting and dirty. Pictures are not updated.

We checked the reviews and pictures before booking, but boy is this a catfish. The building is honestly disgusting. The property is dirty and you can see where they painted over dirt and grime. Their parking lot is inconvenient for larger vehicles, and it’s not large enough to accommodate all the guests-as we had to park at Arby’s one night. When we got to our room, not only did it smell, there was hair everywhere. There was hair on the walls, in the sink, in the bathtub, and there were hair balls stuck to the desk chair legs. We pulled back the sheets on the bed, and there were large questionable stains all over the sheets-we slept on a blanket we brought with us, and put big t-shirts on the pillows. We did not put our feet on the floor, we wore shoes the entire time we were in the facility, as it was dirty and just flat out disgusting. The towels were equivalent to the types of towels you would use to clean with, and they were stained. We were upset that we paid as much as we did for such nasty facilities. The front desk was closed when we went up to it most of the time, and it had a sign to call for help, as no one was on site. The front desk employees repeatedly were out in the front of the building smoking, while customers were at the front desk needing help. We dreaded having to go back to that facility at the end of the day, as we were appalled.

If you must stay in Wheatland this is probably your best option. Otherwise try another city

Comfortable bed

Friends got double booked, waking up some other poor guest. Staff told us there were no other rooms before properly checking. Our room was no smoking and smelled like marijuana, had to switch out blankets. Entire building has terrible soundproofing.

I’d stay there again if I was passing through that area.

Clean, quiet, staff was friendly. Fine for our purpose, which was an overnight stay along our journey.

No coffee or breakfast.

1. Clean the toilet bowl 2. Very noisy refrigerator compressor 3. Greasy stain on floor near the bed 4. Perfume air freshener in bathroom was overpowering.

Glad it was only one night!!!

old looking and our room was sprayed with some kind of disinfectant and it was sooo strong it made us sick!!! The TV wires were all disconnected and had to figure out how to hook it up!!! Couldn’t wait to leave!! wouldn’t have stayed, but not much choice in Wheatland!!!

Friendly staff and great price.

This hotel was clean and in good shape for a low cost place to stay. The staff went above and beyond when they found an item one of my kids left and offered to send it to us.

Happy traveler

This is the nicest motels I've stayed at in my travels since becoming somewhat handicapped. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I travel with a dog and they make sure I am by an outside entrance to the pet area , which is a wonderful area. Large, fenced from the hey and grass! Good is pleasant, clean and everything works.

Can't think of a thing.

Friendly and helpful checking. Employees were very helpful to assist me with my dog and even carried my luggage into my room. ( I am handicapped and its hard to walk) The area for exercising the dog was the best I have ever found.

I would have liked a room closer to the outside entrance but I booked the same day so understand.

Ok parking if driving just a regular vehicle, won't stay there again! No breakfast

Great location right off of the interstate and near several eating locations. The lady at the front desk was quick to try to accommodate us with all the issues.

Bathroom was filthy had not been cleaned from previous guest. The front desk lady did offer to move us but we had already unpacked and had our pj's on, so she came and cleaned up part of the bathroom. The floor remained covered in black curly hair. We had pill bugs crawling all over the floor in the a.m. when we got up. The one cleaning lady lives across the hall with a dog that whined and scratched the door most of the night. When we went to leave in the morning there was no staff to be scene.

A nice quiet place to stay

What can I say about a Motel 6? It's very reasonably priced and the facilities are thoroughly adequate. I was there on July 4 and, while there was no municipal fireworks display there were lots of private displays that lit up the sky. Wheatland is a nice little town and the motel is appropriate for the community.

There was nothing about it that was cause for concern.

No air conditioning. No food. Water is at best luke warm. Room wasn't properly cleaned.

I had a brief stay and restaurant near by. It was a good stop from my journey!

There was no breakfast or food at this location !

The shower/bath did not have a safe surface to stand on. It was very slick and I nearly fell twice showering The area was clean and felt safe in the area

my kinda place, well remodeled, great to have the microwave & fridge!

great price. convenient location. great beds! the rooms uniquely arranged with the bathrooms.

it was a little old but had been freshly painted & prettied up.

Was ok for1 night. Don’t think I will ever stay again.

It was clean.

Hotel is very tired needs updating. No shampoo. No hairdryer. Towels needed replacing as they had seen better days. Hotel had no security all the outer doors were accessible without a hotel key card. No staff on reception to deal with any problems. Oh did I mention the earwig in the bath!!!!
