Close to summer fest grounds. The Knick restaurant was amazing
On arrival being told to find your own parking felt it was very rude
4.0
Great location
Staff was unfriendly
4.0
Spacious room with kitchen facilities
Blinds at window didn't block out light. Nothing to use to make or drink hot beverages
5.0
I love the historic nostalgia. Staff was very friendly and facilities were clean.
Not the hotel but the restaurant connected, The Knick. Went for breakfast and ordered the corned beef hash. Their version of the dish was hash browns, less than 10 very small pieces of corned beef, and hard cabbage mixed together. Was not what I was expecting and don't recommend ordering.
2.0
location and it looked nice at booking time
Except at check-out, not so friendly staff, did not deliver the room they promised (no 2 queens available in the end), no shower curtain, no housekeeping until I insisted, housekeeping job was terribly done

The location
Maybe offer free breakfast? I have no real complaints .

Quiet, quaint and centrally located. The Knick’ is our favorite weekend getaway, even during the week.

Relaxed atmosphere!
The bathroom is to small. Tub was to tall for someone who has disabilities

We thought the room was quaint & clean. The food in the restaurant was excellent & a great value!
The bathroom tub could use a handle or two, it was a little slippery.

Everything was perfect
It has plenty of facilities and it is in a very good spot
2.5
good location. close to a lot of nice stuff!
the photos you see advertised are most likely from the best two rooms they have. we spoke to someone who was staying there and they mentioned the advertising for the rooms are not correct. wayyyy older than the photos show. and the bed was definitely not that great. they gave us one and a half roll of toilet paper. one was half used. and we left a service sign they left us to hang on the door for service. we hung the sign for service on the door before we left one morning for a day of fun. . the entire time we were gone and we come back to no service. we left for a good portion of the day. they had a lot of time to come by and check. so we went without an extra towel and blanket we wanted. plus hardly any toilet paper… lucky for us we had some we
package in case of emergency. I’m not hating on this hotel. they just could use some updates and more prompt employees. we didn’t dislike the stay, we just didn’t like it… if that makes sense? 5 out of 10 stars. an average stay.
1.5
That there was a kitchenette and comfortable bed.
There was no soap to wash our bodies. The light in the main closet did not work. The refrigerator was really not working the freezer was frozen solid and ice cream left in there. There was also a broken frame hung up and it looked terrible. The room was too noisy. And there was no room service.

Location and setting.very retro in the lobby
No towels in room ,room not cleaned to expectations

The size and kitchen in my room were phenomenal. The hotel restaurant was excellent Friendly helpful staff
Not a good view from my room. Having to pay 20 dollars to park my car in the hotel lot.

the location was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. We had only one meal (lunch) at the restaurant and it was good.
Our housekeeper didn’t replace the little pack of coffee for the coffeemaker so I had to ask at the desk for a new one. It wasn’t a big problem.
4.5
The hotel was very elegant looking both inside and outside. The doors to each room were so unique; curved/bowed and beautiful wood. There were 2 closets and one was a walk in! Another big surprise was the kitchenette. I had no idea that was even an option. There is a restaurant and bar on property that were worth visiting. Also, the location was perfect for our visit as it was a 10 minute walk from our friend’s condo on the lake.
There were honestly only 2 things I didn’t like. First was the loud window A/C. Nothing we could do about it and I don’t think the hotel could do anything about it either. Just a loud unit. The second thing I didn’t like was the bathtub. When I stepped into it, it flexed quite a bit. I am not obese or even overweight. The tub was so squishy, I was afraid the floor beneath the tub was rotting. It made both my husband and me very uncomfortable to shower. Hopefully, it’s just the tub and nothing as dangerous as rotting subfloor.

The receptionist at check in were very kind and attentive.
The room wasn’t clean, the room was excessively hot to where with both windows open we had to ask for a fan.The fan that was brought had layers of black hairy dusk growing on the fan blades.
The sheets smelled like mildew or they were kept on a shelf for months and then brought when needed. The refrigerator wasn’t really clean.
The shower had no water pressure unless you wanted freezing water or scalding water. The medium range of motion to set the water temperature.
