Good place, great area, nice personnel, very clean/modern. $75 pet fee/closed restaurant

location was great, room was nice, overall the property and employees were very nice.

We were a bit soured upon arrival. We booked a pet friendly hotel. We are traveling with our dogs. We also liked that there was a restaurant in the building. We looked at both of those things when choosing this hotel. The payment was non-refundable. Everything looked great. Upon arrival we were charged $75!!! for a pet fee. We did not find that info anywhere or we may have chosen another option and kept driving. We could not get a refund so we had to pay this fee. Please know, we understand there may be fees. We have been driving across country and staying at multiple hotels. The max we were charged was $25 and it was refunded. We were also charged a $200 hold fee for pets at another hotel but it was taken off our account after we left (and that was clearly stated in the booking of the room). $75 felt like robbery considering we were there for about 13 hrs total. The restaurant has very limited hours. On the website it said they were open until 10pm. It was closed and wouldn't be open til 2 days after we left. ALL fine, but please put clearly state this on the website. Overall it was a good place. The communication would have made it wonderful. A $75 pet fee feels so out of line with the dozen or more establishments we have stayed at not charging anything or refundable fees. Also would have been nice to have the hours/days plainly stated for the restaurant.

Fit our basic needs

Centrally located

Staff were friendly but not knowledgeable. They did not communicate well. We called to ask if there were towels in the pool area and she went to check, came back and told us yes. We go down to swim and the pool is closed for maintenance! Couldn’t she have told us that? Can’t they do the maintenance in between check out and check in time? We picked this hotel specifically because of the pool and were looking forward to swimming.

Downtown Kent is amazing!

There was not a complimentary breakfast. The restaurant in the lobby serves a breakfast menu.

While I had a 1AM arrival, I had to wait 15 minutes before I saw an employee to help with checkin. There's no street parking but the hotel does provide a parking pass for a garage on the next city block.

Fantastic Stay

First,I really liked, Sarah, the front desk reservationist. She was very friendly, energetic and helpful. She gave us 2 great recommendations on nearby restaurants. She also took care of a snafu in the reservation, that was my fault, seamlessly and quickly. Our rooms were spotless and larger than expected. The King bed was very comfortable, not too soft or hard. The room provided all the necessities..The bathroom had a nice large granite ? sink and a good sized shower with interchangeable shower head settings. We did not use the swimming pool or eat at the hotel restaurant. We also had a very quiet stay, which is a big plus. Excellent hotel, especially for the price!

Things that most hotels I stay in don't have, including this one, is enough hooks in the bathroom. The shower could use a grab bar also. If you start to fall the only thing to hold is the door handle.

Cleanliness. Staff was very nice

You can hear the people above you. We had someone runnings a marathon phone call and walking the entire time. He came in at 1130pm and didn't stop until 130am. I'm a light sleeper so he woke me numerous times.

great location, good shower pressure, comfortable bed, very clean

no free grab & go breakfast anymore yet the hotel rate is still high, tv remote didn’t work had to turn on & off on the box, in room coffee maker didn’t work, could hear a lot of noise upstairs from us due to thinness of ceiling.

We were very happy that we chose this hotel to spend our night. Thank you!!

Did not have breakfast at the hotel. We had a quick overnight stay and back on the road for a 9-10 hour drive home. We were very pleased with the hotel.

We had such a brief stay, however, there wasn't anything we did not like.

Rooms are very spacious. Beds are extremely comfortable. Ice machine on our floor was a plus.

Could hear people in other rooms - they weren't noisy just not insulated well. They need to offer a complimentary breakfast. Parking system was down so this was a very big pain.
