The staff was very friendly.
The bed needs new sheets, new pillows, and a new blanket. The shower didn't work in room 106, I was not compensated for the faulty plumbing, either. They charge a $10 deposit for the television remote, which they gave back during checkout.

The bed had bed bugs. When I went to tell them, they said they were fully booked and I'd have to wait until morning. Then at 7 am two workers came in and tore the room apart until they found bedbugs behind the headboard. They started spraying everything so I was moved to another room but told I'd have to check out at 11 am. I demanded my money back until they made me sign a form saying I had received a refund on my card. I was walking away when my banking app said I was just charged a 2nd time, and then that was refunded. Not the best experience.

The room was spartan but ideal for the single traveller who doesn't like frills
Free complimentary coffee on a morning

There“s nothing to like about this place.
This place is a dump.
Our first impression didn’t proove us wrong. After just giving us the possibility to get a brief look into the room from the doorstep only!!! they probably told us through the small window that if we don’t like it here, we need to cancel within 10 minutes , otherwise we will be charged without refund . I am saying probably because I didn’t understand a word because the reception is right next to the interstate / highway.
After entering the rooms, we knew right away, why we weren’t allowed to enter . just one look at the bedsheets told us everything . cigarette holes , yellow stains , imprints from glasses on the table , probably from a former guest, just disgusting.

There was no breakfast. There was no frozen ice because the machine was broken.
One of the staff members, I was told her name was Iris, was very rude to us . I asked to speak to the owner. She told me that wouldn't happen. She would not give me any information. She was very rude to my boyfriend and myself. She charged me extra money for him to be there. I told her that hotels normally set their rates based on double occupancy. She got smart with me and made a snide comment about the Hilton. Nobody else on your staff charged me extra throughout my stay there, which had already been 4 nights. He did not stay there the last night. She moved us out of the 2nd room we were in and moved us to the very end of the hotel as if we were a problem, which we weren"t. Far from it. On the first night, our antenna wasn't working good. I made a complaint, and was told a maintenance guy would come. A maintenance guy never came. The 2nd night we were there, some man, unknown to us, came knocking on our door and trying to get in. He finally went away after about 15-20 minutes. The next day we were moved out of our first room. The microwave in our 2nd room only worked if you plugged it in and unplugged it. It was replaced. Very uncomfortable stay. Very unsafe. I also spent $377.29 which is $75.40/night not including taxes, deposits, and misc. fees.
One of your staff members already mentioned. Unsafe.

No hot water, thus freezing shower. Maybe that's good when its Austin hot but not when it is cold out. Dont walk barefoot on the room floor, you will have dirt and hair covering you. Glad I brought a sleeping bag to sleep in, the bed sheets were disgusting and dirty.

I think the location was convenient and easy to get to from I-35. The price was basically the cheapest I could find. The TV had a good selection of channels and features. When I reported that the coffee maker was missing a part, they replaced it right away.
The major issue was bed bugs (Feb 2023). I was bit a few times my first night. After letting the staff know, they took a picture of the swollen bite marks on my arm, said they'd bring some tape up to my room, and that was it. I moved by bed from the wall, bought double-sided tape for the bed legs, moved all my clothes to the desk and taped the legs there. I was bit more the 2nd and 3rd nights, but after the sheets were changed and I spent a night at a different location, my last two nights were bite free.
The day I arrived, it had just rained and the whole place was damp. The ceiling had pretty bad water damage. The tile floor was covered in sand and dirt. Plan to wear shoes inside. Toiletries were bare minimum and I had to pay extra and a deposit for a fridge + microwave.
Right after check-in, I was hassled for money, a ride by two people, and a phone charger (I helped the guy who just needed a charger to make a call).
I connected to the wi-fi and Google kept alerting me that my router was part of a DDoS botnet. The connection was a bit too spotty to do Zoom meetings without calling in for audio.
