The staff was great very friendly and helpful
The breakfast was different than I imagined.

We liked all the extra amenities... wine was available for afternoon cocktail time and champagne
in the late evening was a treat. The bed was very comfortable. We stayed in the corner queen room
since it didn't have any stairs to get to this location once you were inside the building.
It was well located for the touring the French quarter which was our main focus.
It was close to a main street where there were bus stops for the free shuttle bus that ran throughout the city.
It would have been great if there was an elevator to the carriage house courtyard queen rooms since these rooms were exceptional.

Delicious breakfast sandwiches! Also enjoyed the wine, cheese & fruit in the afternoons. Thank you!

We loved it. Great location, you are in the historic downtown area so can walk easily everywhere.
Staff were wonderful- so helpful and friendly - big thank you to Carl. Our room was upstairs in the carriage house. Very comfortable, clean and with a lovely semi private veranda overlooking there lovely courtyard. The room had period furniture, bed was comfortable, plenty of storage space, refrigerator stocked with complimentary water and soft drinks. We also had a tray in the room of complimentary snacks. Nice coffee machine well stocked with different types of coffee and tea. Bathroom was spacious with a big walk in shower. WIFi was strong and there was good air conditioning.
The included continental breakfast was delicious- hard boiled eggs, sweet and savoury pastries, yogurts, fresh brewed coffees, fruit and bagels etc. You could eat in the breakfast room or take the food back out to their courtyard or your room to eat. In the late afternoon a free charcuterie board with wine and beer was put out and in the evening champagne and macarons. The private courtyard was lovely, tree lined with the odd geckos and squirrels visiting.
In all a delightful stay!
Absolutely nothing.

Breakfast was v’er basic and overall Price was very High for this basic service.

The location is simply exceptional. It was wonderful to be right in the thick of things, but not on a main street, so we were able to access everything, but not have the noise of main streets. We fell in love with so many things nearby and think this was one of the best vacations we've ever had. The team of Darlene and the bellman (forgetting his name now, but he's been with the Inn for 30+ years) was simply superb -- friendly, kind, and we enjoyed hearing their stories, too. We felt like locals when we got to know the bartenders on nightly visits for a cocktail at Doer Bros. and enjoyed the best drinks and advice on how to get into all of the restaurants we wanted to visit. And Charleston is a foodie city, for sure!
There was nothing we didn't like. The only downer was it was high spring with lots of pollen and it would have been great to have the exterior seating wiped down a little more often. That pine pollen is yellow!

The Jasmine House was a charming place to stay well situated in historic Charleston. We could walk to everything we wanted to see.

The house is absolutely beautiful & the courtyard is very nice (we didn't get to really enjoy it though because it was a little chilly most of our stay). It was very conveniently located, we walked everywhere we went downtown & the tours we took were within a 1 or 2 minute walk. The only time we drove was when we went out to see a plantation. The complimentary wine, champagne, beer & snacks in the evenings was a nice touch. The keurig coffee machine in our room was a nice surprise, complimentary snacks in the room & we did have a mini fridge with complimentary water & soda; didn't expect that. I was expecting to park across the street at a public parking lot & was worried about paying more than once a day on the day we drove somewhere, but we were able to park at the Indigo Inn ($20 a day) & could come & go as many times as we wanted, so that was a relief.
These aren't necessarily bad things or dislikes, just little things..... check in is at The Indigo Inn across the street, Jasmine House doesn't have a front desk or lobby; not a big deal at all though. There's no indoor eating option for breakfast, afternoon wine & cheese, or evening champagne & macaroons. We took ours back to our room, which was just fine. We could have ate on the front porch or courtyard if it had been warmer. There is a lounge in the basement level that could have been used also, but you have to go outside & acces a door & stairs to get to it, it was easier just go back to our room. Breakfast was very simple, no eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. but it was nice.

Location was ideal. We were able to walk to everything!
Our housekeeper Darlene was very helpful and did an amazing job every day tidying up our room.
Continental breakfast had one hot item each day. We were there 3 days and it didn't change. Would have been nice to have a variety.

Beautiful and quiet.
We liked everything about staying there.

So close to all the sights. Easy walking distance. The inn looks beautiful and the rooms are lovely. Wine and cheese at 5 pm and macarons at 8 pm. All delicious. A lovely help yourself breakfast. There is a lovely shady courtyard and lots of places to sit.

Great location! Walking distance to most everything and area is quiet. Our room was clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. It is a beautiful property with lots of southern charm.
the breakfast and wine socials could have been better and in a better area. It’s a tight fit and we felt like we were disturbing the guests in that area.
4.4
Excellent location. We walked everywhere. You can be anywhere in 10 -15 min walk. The room was lovely. Outdoor patio was very inviting. But the Best part was the staff! Friendly and very helpful with directions. Even carried bags to room. Breakfast was good, afternoon cheese and wine with charcuterie board!
Everything perfect!

The garden and fountain in front of the Carriage house. It was peaceful and great music was played softly. The location allowed us to walk everywhere. We didnt use our car after we checked in. The happy hour and late night champagne and macaroons was very nice. All the staff were very nice. The refrigerator was stocked with drinks and a selection of local snacks was provided.
Its really hard to identlfy a negative.
