Extremely comfortable rooms in a quirky, fun setting. Great facilities like loan umbrellas and water bottles. Prime location for anyone going to a conference at the SD Conference Centre.

Good location and value. King bed and down pillows
Not a hint of a view out the windows. 4 feet from another wall

It was perfect
The smell of dog piss around the city of San Diego but that has nothing to do with the hotel

The front desk greeter/agent was fantastic. She helped me make my reservation on my phone to get a llower rate. Then changed our mini suite to two adjacient rooms without crediting back my debit card. Her manager helped this happen. AND the GREATEST thing they did for us was allow a verry late checkout at 5:00 PM which ended up being 7:30 PM. This was so greatly appreciated that we will always remember this accommodation.
Parking was not good but that goes with the area. AREA was over run with homeless. However geographically was convenient.

Located in the heart of the Gaslamp district. So clean. Staff were great! Bicycles and water bar and unlimited tea and coffee. Everything you need with no wasted space. Will definitely go again.

Bed was super comfy, no noise from outside even though it is a busy area, loved the welcome drinks and the option to borrow a bike from the lobby, also the pineapple water was delicious and it was great that the bottle was refillable.

We really like Staypinneaple hotels, they always have a super comfortable shower and bed and modern structure. In this unit you also can use their bikes during the day, which helped us to walk around without using the car all the time!

Comfy beds, clean, free bikes and water.
Nothing, it's a great hotel.

Was given room below the rooftop compressor which was banging loud noises
Was moved to a room with a broken AC
The staff seemed to know the rooms had issues but have those rooms anyhow.
I cancelled and stayed in another location

Safe, friendly with dog, inside the Gaslamp square.
Soundproofing is not really good

As I was by myself and arrived late at night, the parking situation is not desirable. The map program took me to the back of the hotel so that I had to walk around the block. When I got to the front the door was locked and no one was in the lobby. I walked past and almost back to the garage again thinking I hadn't yet found the front door prior to turning around. When I came back there was a hostess in the lobby helping another customer who then had to come unlock the door. It was a bit frustrating to say the least when I already didn't feel comfortable in the neighborhood.
There was also quite a bit of noise transferred through the room above me as well as in the corridors, I found the hotel quite noisy and wouldn't choose to stay here again.

central location, comfortable room, amenities (bikes, water & coffee, snack bar)
construction noise from floor above, bed duvets were too warm

Great location, snack hour cookies and pineapple water were fun! Free coffee was a plus any time of day. Room was clean and linens were fresh, wifi and chromecast worked great. We borrowed the bikes - pro tip they are fixed gear and San Diego is hillier than it looks. The bikes are in good shape and a fun way to get around the flatter parts of town. We spilled a full cup of coffee in the room and housekeeping was quick to help replace the pillows and vacuum the floor. Secure entry - you need a room key to get into the lobby at night. Overall a pretty good value for a clean fresh room.
Room was a weird shoebox layout with the TV wall mounted on the side of the bed and the only window facing an interior small courtyard, so pretty much no sunlight in sunny San Diego. No microwave or minifridge in the room so we were out of luck with our leftovers and couldn't get grocery snacks for breakfast. No provided breakfast, snack bar, or on site restaurant. No pool. No parking offered but we were able to find free street parking or spot hero garage.

Location was perfect and the beds and shower were great, it is a fairly basic hotel but it is very convenient
The rooms were pretty noisy didn't have any outside noise but the hotel noise was a lot, doors/walls extremely thin

We loved our time at this hotel, it’s in a great location in the gas lamp district. Our dog was made to feel like an extra guest and got a welcome pack of freebies! The bed was the comfiest we’d ever slept in, it definitely makes getting up in the morning a struggle!
The hotel doesn’t have its own parking garage or a discounted rate with a local garage but otherwise it was a great stay!
4.6
The hotel was super dog friendly and
The staff is very sweet
The rooms are small but comfortable
There is NO puppy rest area in or near the hotel
We had to take the dogs to a lot with a small dirty gravel patch around the corner from the hotel so they could go potty.
The gravel area is not the best with homeless people camped all around the lot.
4.6
The location is great since everything is close.
You have to park elsewhere and there are a lot of interesting people around the area.
