There was free parking on site
The rooms have zero insulation. Extremely noisy from other guests, very cold at night and bathroom was not clean.

Value for money. Customer service.
A bit close to the highway. The walls are very thin so it is easy o hear the neighbours

Check in and check out were very smooth and convenient, and there was ample parking when I arrived. My room was very spacious and comfortable with lots of natural light. The location has convenient access to downtown, Balboa Park, and the freeway.
If you stay in one of the rooms on the east side of the property, make sure to close your bathroom door in case you want to sleep in. If you don't, the sunrise will shine right into your face. This was only a small negative, since I wanted get up early in the morning to visit Balboa Park before I checked out.
You need to be careful when exiting the property, since it is very hard to see the fast-moving cars coming south along 32nd Street without sticking your nose pretty far out.

The beds were about the only good thing.
Being woken up at 2:15 in the morning to someone screaming in the parking lot. Constant traffic all hours of the night. Dogs barking a few doors down. The floor was filthy. My daughter’s feet turned black just from running around bare foot. Wi-Fi was inconsistent. Seemed like there were drug dealers in the next room. Constantly people in and out of rooms all hours of the night.

You get what you pay for. Not very nice looking interior. But the bed was comfortable, cleanliness was acceptable, the heater worked, and staff was friendly and helpful.
Towels were gross looking. Provided soap didn't feel like it was cleaning much.
