We loved the location. We loved the cottage and the setting was ideal. We enjoyed that the property was a working farm.
The hammocks and Adirondack chairs were a nice touch.
The availability of the fire pits was great.
We loved the cottage, but we were there when there was an infestation of ladybugs inside the cottage.
It was more of a nuisance than a real problem.

We didn’t like anything…we loved everything! Exceeded my expectations and I have high expectations! Charming property inside & out. The personal touches made for a unique experience, with all the comforts of home and then some. Lush bed & bedding allowed for one of the most comfortable nights rest I’ve had in years. Breakfast rivals any high end restaurant. Outstanding both in taste and preparation. Highly recommend.
Nothing not to like! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Casey and Jason are the most kind and attentive hosts. They make you feel immediately relaxed and taken care of with their warm and generous hospitality. Their house is a jewel and a landmark of outstanding beauty.

We were so well looked after. Casey went above and beyond to both make us feel welcome and to facilitate any and every need. We couldn't have asked for a better hosting experience. The food was great too!! The pictures do not do the place justice either. The building, grounds and rooms are all incredible and look and feel even better than the photos we saw before arriving.
Nothing. Everything is perfect. I cannot express how well you'll be looked after if you stay here (which I highly recommend!).

The estate is a true experience in elegance! From the initial warm greeting from Casey, amazingly appointed room and common spaces, beautifully presented breakfast, to a stroll through the grounds - it all was such a treat!

We stayed for a day during a weekend road trip! Beautiful house and landscape. I believe one of the most iconic in the area! Friendly hostess, spacious room, comfortable bed, tasty breakfast.
The hot water temperature at the shower faded out after some time of use. This might be a problem when travelling with kids. I would also like to be able to use the fireplace of the room as the suite was gorgeous and you could spend sometime in it sipping a glass of wine.

Breakfast was amazing! French toast with peaches and cream and bacon. it was delicious! My mother-in-law is gluten free- and Casey made her a special egg omelette for breakfast.
The property is large with intimate areas / seating all over. A couple of places for a fire and s’mores at night if you want. Beautifully lit at night. Music playing through out the house. The Madison room was large with casual seating for 4 people and a very efficient gas fireplace. comfy king bed. Magnolia room had a shower and good views too. Make sure to walk up to the cupola! Love it and will stay again. Met some people in the morning and their friendly beagle - so cute. Close to wineries and Montpelier. Thank you for being such a great host Casey!
Nothing to put here. Casey was an amazing host. Perhaps if you can’t do stairs - stay on the main floor.

Mayhurst is a lovely old house which is being run as a B and B and a retreat along with some events. It is a calm ,peaceful and very relaxed place where guests are just encouraged to feel at home. We woke up to the sounds of birds singing had a lovely breakfast on the verandah outside.
It was hard to find someone when we arrived but there was a phone number - we just couldn’t phone!
