A place of beauty

Anna the owner really did make us feel so comfortable and looked after. Pytts House is stunning and she has really added to it's charm with her fantastic design work. It's nestled in an absolute place of beauty with it being in walking distance to the picturesque highstreet and an absolute gem of a place. The facilities, service and food were all 5-star. I would love to come back!

Hospitality + Charm + Comfort + Views + Storybook Setting + Dogs = Heaven

The owner was absolutely wonderful, and went out of her way to welcome my daughter and I. The property is beyond charming, and is in walking distance to High Street in Burford with its many shops and restaurants/pubs. Our room was well-appointed with beautiful views and the most comfortable bed we slept in while in England. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and as if it couldn't get any better, the owner's adorable dogs stole our hearts.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel's ambiance was delightful, and the breakfast Anna provided was simply amazing. I can't wait to visit again in the future. Great service and Anna was amazing.

Charming Place in Cottswold

If you're looking for a place in the Cottswolds, stop looking and book now. The host is lovely and gave excellent recommendation. The house and grounds are incredible and the food is amazing. The house is within walking distance of shops and pubs and within a short drive to other villages. Can't say enough good things about this place!

I enjoyed every part of my stay. I wish I could have extended my holiday. There was nothing I would have changed

Beautiful Cotswold bed and breakfast experience!

Location is great, it is a bit off from the high street in Burford, the breakfast was amazing, the look and feel of the place was beautiful so well decorated. Anna is an amazing host, very kind and thoughtful and really wants to help you have a good time. Also, very well kept and clean. Don't forget your bath salts for the bathtub. There is also a beautiful garden in the back, it was nice to sit outside and watch the dogs run around with the sunsetting. It was a very relaxing stay and felt like a "true Cotswold" experience in the English countryside! For those who love the "cottagecore" aesthetic, this is perfect for you!

Heavenly stay in the beautiful Cotswolds

Champagne and strawberries, lazing on the lawn in a nest of rugs and pillows under the gift of July's sunny kiss. The warm knowing embrace of the ancient house filled with an exquisite collection of Parisian chic and delicate art. Dawn's dappled light lazily entering our room as I drift back into slumber swallowed by the comfort of our expansive bed. Grounding barefoot to Mother Earth's pure energy as blooms perfumed and grass sweet decorate my afternoon yoga. The unbridled love from the quartet of perros, full of hugs and discussions. The grace of our host Anna who made us feel like the two most important people to have ever shared her beautiful expression of imagination and place. Such dear memories of a very special stay.

Warm and inviting

It felt like home away from home. Anna was on hand if we needed anything and she had lots of information about the local area. The deco is tastefully done and in keeping with the age of the property. Beautiful and well kept garden. We would certainly stay again and book a bigger room if available.

When we decided on a trip to the Cotswolds, I started my research for a special place to stay. I didn't want our base to be just a regular hotel or B&B, so I read numerous reviews on Booking. Once I came across Anna's place, which was rated 5/5, I decided to bet on it. We're on our last night staying at this magical place, and I truly regret not booking it for at least a week. I don't have enough words to describe the good energies and amazing vibes we experienced as soon as we stepped into her home. Anna provided recommendations and advice with great enthusiasm, along with her willingness to make people feel at home. The place is beautiful, with extraordinary pieces of art and decor designed with great taste. Our score for this experience is 10/10!! No doubt, we'll be back.

English countryside charm in an incredible, artistic and peaceful B&B

Anna was such a lovely host! Cotswold is dreamy as a location in itself, Pytts house made the stay even more beautiful. The furnishings are decor are superb, you really get the feel of a quaint English cottage.

There is nothing we didn't like! Everything was just amazing!

Exceptional

Anna (the host of Pytts house) was amazing, a truly caring and lovely individual, who really added to our experience of visting cotswold. The house is beautiful, you can feel the joy and beauty walking around the house and the gardens, from the many small details you may miss if not paying attention, like cut snowdrop from garden in your room, to blankets placed by the bancony door to keep warm, Pytts house offers so much. I found myself marvelling over the beautifully decorated house. Anna was more than happy to help organising and picking champagne for the room, and booking restaurant for us, as a surprise. Anna's recommendions of places to eat and vist were brilliant, making the location easy and stress free from planing and Google searching of what to do. We will certainly be coming back in summer, it was much more than an ordinary b&b.

amazing！

Everything is so beautiful. A gift from King Henry VIII to his suite. Nearly 500 years of construction. Very beautiful garden. The interior is so beautiful that there are no more adjectives. The owner, Ms Anna, is very hospitable and aesthetically minded. Breakfast met all our expectations. I am looking forward to the coming Christmas and beautiful summer and going to live again.

Eccentric, Charming & A Real Treat...

Anna is an incredible host, but I'm not the first person to say that. She definitely goes above and beyond and is clearly a character - a great British character. Charming, attentive, funny and interesting, her home is equally wonderful, filled with things to greet the eye wherever you look. A house that has definitely earned its place in myriad magazines and rightly so - she has a wonderful, fashionable eye for detail. Chandeliers, piles of books, comfy armchairs, decadent bedding, a balcony and... 5 dogs! Not that she'll let them all out at once, you may only meet 'Mr Tibbs', however, if you're a dog lover, do ask to meet the other four. I should also note that Anna sent me recommendations as to where to eat, made the booking for me, checked I was happy and even got up an hour or so early to make breakfast for my partner who - annoyingly - needed us to leave by 8am. I had to take my own bedding, as I'm allergic to feather, and she couldn't have been more mortified. The bed was made up beautifully [I am an allergic idiot]. I could have stayed all day and will definitely be back. Charming, somewhat eccentric, in a truly beautiful part of the world - what an absolute treat. Make the most of your money and lounge about as long as you can, take a bath, sit on the balcony, laze in bed, and daydream that you live there The only reason to leave is the pub food. Thank you so much for having us, Anna. Big love to you all.

Very enjoyable

We stayed 8 nights. Anna was very accommodating. Looked after us very well. Breakfast excellent. Booking restaurants for us, suggesting walks, tour advisor. Delightful to chat too. Creates a warm welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic.

Anna is an excellent host, kind, friendly, willing to help, the breakfast was amazing. Anna booked tables at restaurants for us so that we didn't have to worry. Nothing was too much trouble. Mr Tibbs our four legged friend is adorable and Pete and I will miss him. Thank you Anna so much, see you soon.

Nothing. Everything was exceptional. The parking can't be helped as it's an extremely old property that has been kept as it should be. I can't think of anything I would have changed. The rooms are spacious, filled with beautiful furniture, and ornaments. What's not to like?

Perfect way to end vacation.

Rating Pytts House on a scale of 10 is simply not possible. Everything about your stay is impressive - the house from 1575, the rooms, the decor, the yard, the delicious breakfasts...and most importantly Anna. She is just the most fabulous host.

Absolutely nothing! Only wish we could have stayed longer.

Pytts House is a lovely old house decorated in the ower's (Anna's) unique style. We enjoyed a very relaxing couple of days and were made to feel extremely welcome. We will definitely return to Pytts House.

Everything is beautiful.

The property is gorgeous, like something out of a fairy tale. Our room was quiet; there were other guests in the house and a lot of activity in the town but when in our room we heard none of it. Anna (proprietor) herself is a gem. My wife also loved having access to the dogs on site. We have stayed at many B&Bs - this was the best!
