A comfortable stay in an interesting old building

We stayed one night on our road trip through Tenterfield. The building was quirky, but clean and well set out. We were very comfortable, and enjoyed the log fire. It kept us warm after stoking it just once during the wee hours. It was handy to park at the rear of the property, and the road noise didn’t bother us.

A previous guest had cooked fish in the kitchen and the smell hung about.

A very pleasant place to stay in a great location.

A very pleasant place to stay. The location was very good - town centre was close. Food supplied in the fridge for breakfast, including fresh milk, was welcome - we didn't have to do immediate shopping for breakfast and lunch. The enclosed veranda was large and would have been welcome for a family during inclement weather.

Access to the toilet was through the bathroom - OK for a couple but it might not be so convenient for two couples

Exceptional

The wood ready for the fireplace was a welcome site. The house was cosy and had all tge amenities, including electric blankets. Breakfast provisions were very generous.

My only comment would be to include a bath mat as getting out of the shower could prove a bit slippery if not careful.

Not long enough to enjoy all Tenterfield had to offer.

Breakfast provisions were excellent and plenty of extras. Fire was great with plenty of wood and kindling. Danni was an excellent host going out of her way to help us with things to see and do.

Because of our age the shower over the bath was a problem but we were told of this at the time of booking..The awning over the back door was a hazard.

Charming country cottage in the heart of Tenterfield, couldn't ask for better!

The owner has a well stocked pantry and fridge in case you don't have provisions when you arrive. Danni is a very thoughtful host and communication with her was great. This charming country cottage has all the comforts you could want. The front enclosed verandah was great for relaxing with a coffee, glass of wine and dinner at the lovely table. Easy and enjoyable walk into the town of Tenterfield. We will definitely be back!

Great home from home

The hostess had a stocked fridge and pantry, everything you needed was to hand, and the level of thoughtfulness was evident. The beds were extremely comfy, the spaces to sit and work or eat were charming and lovely. The pictures look good, but the property exceeded my expectations. It made two long days working in the region a lot easier knowing we had this cottage to come back to.

Several living areas to spread out. Electric blankets were very welcome. Everything was supplied to start a fire. The pantry and fridge were well stocked for our use. Staying here made a nice change from motel rooms at not so much extra cost.

Lovely country house stay in Tenterfield

It was fun to stay in a country town house that was an easy walking distance to the centre of town. It was cutely renovated and the bedding was very comfortable. The host had provided generous breakfast provisions in fridge and pantry.

We had a short stay in Danni's charming house but found it comfortable and well provisioned.

A charming house with all required facilities and a frig stocked with breakfast supplies. Plenty of heating for a cold time of the year with a fire, heaters and electric blankets. Danni checked to see that we had arrived and all was fine.
