Superb, exceeds all expectations!

The Lodge and facilities are superb there is everything you need with lots of attention to detail. We stayed for our honeymoon and there was beautiful flowers, champagne and chocolates on arrival. The garden was lit and beautiful at night, and the hot tub was fantastic with a lovely relaxation room shower and sauna.

We couldn't fault anything.

Exceptional

This lodge was absolutely amazing. It is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. It had everything that you would need and more. The host Mark was very helpful and kept in contact with us from booking it to arriving at the lodge. It was spotless and there was all different patios and decking to sit at. The hot tub and sauna area was first class lots of towels and bath robes to use. There is loads of outside space with the big front and rear garden and it all lit up at nighttime which was a lovely touch. The kitchen had everything you need and lots more, the host has thought of everything and a bottle of bubbly and some shortbread and chocolates were an added extra. We had breakfast in the morning sitting out the front and dinner sitting out the decking area, there is nothing I can say bad about this place at all. The neighbours were lovely, we met a few of them on our trips out with the dog, the area is gorgeous plenty of walks and stunning views we made some amazing memories in our week's stay there and will definitely be back.

Great location for an amazing relaxing holiday

The house is very quiet in the midst of beautiful nature. The hot tub and spa are a treat, especially after a long, sometimes showery mountain walk. Kitchen well equipped, beds are very comfortable. All facilities you need for a great relaxing stay!

Midges... bring spray! Also, the bed blankets where a bit warm for summer...

Smashing summer staycation

The Lodge has everything, superbly equipped. Every time you thought, it would be good if......we looked and it was there. There are even bikes to be used which our kids enjoyed. The Lodge was exceptionally clean when we arrived. The location is so peaceful and quiet. We stayed as a family of 4 with teens and made full use of the hot tub, sauna and relaxation room. This really added a luxurious feel to the trip and a delightful addition to the Lodge. We used the Lodge as a base to have days trips around Argyll. Picking up fresh seafood and cooking at the Lodge in the large well equiped kitchen was a great way to spend an evening. The Lodge is also walkable to the Inver restaurant which is a gem and absolutely worth going to if staying. The Lodge owner was fab, gave clear instructions and easily contactable if required.

Its wise to go food shopping en route.

The house was better than expected; it was comfortable and we felt welcomed. We had an unforgettable time at Strathlachlan Lodge and would to return.

It is Scotland, not Bardados.. Accept that and there is not a great not to like.

stairs to upstairs bedroom not easily accessible for everyone, it is a very narrow spiral staircase

Excellent stay! A true Highland gem!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the lodge. It is in a gorgeous location with lots of options nearby for walking, exploring, delicious dining (recommend Inver & The Oystercatcher), and just relaxing! The lodge was well equipped and upon arrival there were some nice extra touches that made it even more special. The spa area was incredible and brand new. Very comfortable beds, which is always important! Nice wood burner. Lots of areas to hang out and relax both inside and outside. The kitchen had everything you could want to make very nice meals. Very well done! Mark was an excellent host and his customer service is some of the best I’ve experienced while traveling. Would highly recommend!

Not a major issue for this stay but we didn’t realize there was a small spiral staircase going to the third bedroom area. It worked for us, but would not have worked if we’d been traveling with very young kids or anyone who has a hard time going up and down small, steep stairs.

Family Break

Just back from a wonderful 3 nights at Strathlachlan Lodge and Spa. Totally exceeded our expectations. There is not one thing that I could find fault with. Hot hub and sauna a real hit after a day out and about walking. Beautiful garden to rear of property. We were there to spend family time with my daughter who is moving to New Zealand next week and due to COVID needed to keep her safe and we wanted somewhere quiet. Brother in law and daughter used the bikes and cycled to the old castle and then paddled in the water. Everyone had a great time - even in the rain.

The sauna and hot tub facility was fantastic and just what we were looking for

We had a lovely time in the lodge and the sauna and hot tub facility was fantastic and just what we were looking for. The sauna area is much bigger and more impressive than it looks in the photos so we were very pleased with it.

Wonderful property and location to relax

Location was just stunning. Dog loved the huge garden and the house itself was really spacious with everything we needed for our stay. Best shower ever and bedrooms were really spacious especially the master.

Only downside was the seat cushions on the lounge sofa which kept slipping off. Not a huge deal as we were out most days but at night we spent a bit of time watching movies.

Strathlachlcan lodge was the perfect location to meet up with and spend quality time with our family

Strathlachlcan lodge was a great place to unwind. Quiet location and all the necessary facilities for a peaceful week away from home. Ample quality place to eat out if needed and also a well equipped kitchen if you were staying in. The whiskey and shortbread were a welcome treat after a long journey.

No complaints at all about this comfortable, roomy, accommodation.
