This cabin has vaulted ceilings with great windows and wonderful views. We just happened to take a short weekend visit just in time for a day full of lightning and thunderstorms. We axed our outdoor plans of hiking and chairlifts with associated activities and just settled into the cabin for a cozy day of movies, games and timing the lightning strikes. It was very comfortable. We had a great visit.

The place is better than expected based on recent reviews. It does look like the pictures. The front door code does not work like others have said. It does need a good deep clean. Beds are ok but old. They didn’t have any propane for the grill but they fixed it when I called. One bummer is the main kitchen area doesn’t have a couch/area to relax without being at the table or bar area.

We love visiting Brian Head. This cabin was not what was expected from the listing. It has been run down and was not clean like I would expect. Blinds and other surfaces were caked in dust. The couch in the basement is not usable due to all the cushions having springs poking out of them. The carpets and tile need to be cleaned. The walls need to be cleaned and patched. There was also a bandaid in one of the showers and a bed.

It was perfect timing during our stay, it snowed the whole time. The home was big enough to accommodate our big group. Had no problems during our stay.

Fantastic house. Just a terrible experience that could have been avoided.

This home made our first trip to Brianhead amazing. The home was spacious and well maintained. The views were amazing as well. Made great memories that will last a lifetime.

Property management sucks !!
We rented the place during thanksgiving break. Beautiful place and view. There was active snow the whole time we were there. The driveway where we were supposed to park our cars goes a bit downhill, and was covered in snow and it was actively snowing most of the time we were there. The main streets were cleaned by city’s snow ploughing vehicles a few times throughout the day , but we are not supposed to park on street. We were left with no equipment to help remove the snow from the driveway to move our cars and property management was little to no help. The do pick up the call, but the local agent never responded or visited us even after calling multiple times.

The house was great! My only complaint was that we stayed there mid July and it got HOT inside. We had all the windows open and fans on, but we just could not keep it cool inside. It was about 80 outside, so I think it’s just unseasonably warm. The whole place could use a little TLC, but it was very clean when we checked in and the checkin and checkout were very simple and straightforward. We would stay again for sure!

We loved the view and the ease of getting to the property. Large Kitchen and plenty of room for our family.

The house was much cleaner than we expected after the other recent reviews. Still had very dusty blinds (even though reviews have called them out as needing to be cleaned). Throw rugs are worn and dirty. All the cabinets everywhere (kitchen and baths) need organization, as there is so much crap everywhere.
When we arrived, the drive hadn’t been plowed. I don’t mean it just hadn’t been plowed that day - I mean it hadn’t been plowed in that it was 3’+ deep of snow. We called Vacasa and they were non responsive or helpful so we called (and paid for) a private plow and had to wait two hours until it could be plowed. We then had to call Vacasa numerous times to get them to reimburse for the plow.
We had a ton of snow while we were there and yet they never proactively scheduled a plow. So we got snowed into the cabin 5 days later. We have a huge lifted 4x4 truck and had to shovel snow and work for two hours to get out of the driveway to get to our kids ski lessons.
The property could be a great rental but management simply isn’t good at their job.

The house was great and had beautiful views, great layout. We did have some issues though. There was a missing coffee pot which we notified staff of and was replaced the next day. The bigger issue was that we reported a gas smell from downstairs which never got resolved or serviced. Never had anyone visit even after multiple contacts. There was also a lack of hot water. There was only enough for 3 people to take a shower which is challenging if the house holds up to 12 people. Lastly, the driveway was not salted or groomed and made it difficult to park the 4 cars noted in the listing. The house was clean and had a great layout and views, but service was not great.

The only positive thing i can say about this place was the view.
The house was dirty and grimy, the dishwasher was broken and smelled like an animal was dead inside, no coffee pot, dirty oven, dirty kitchen, dusty blinds all of it was dirty. I notified the property manager upon our arrival and advised them of all of our issues, they kept saying that they were working on it. The property management company offered to have someone clean the home and bring us a coffee pot on night one, they never sent anyone to do either. Mind you we were there for 4 days and 3 nights they had plenty of time to at least try and rectify the situation, but they did nothing at all but say they were working on it for us. Don't waste your hard-earned money renting from this home that's being managed by VACASA.

This cabin made a wonderful place for our family to gather for some winter fun. This cabin is very close to the resort and lifts which makes it convenient to go grab some hot chocolate and warm up. The cabin has beautiful features and with three floors, there’s plenty of space for family to spread out. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked although the dishwasher wasn’t functional during our stay. While there, the temperatures dropped below zero but in most parts of the cabin it was warm and cozy. Unfortunately though, the downstairs floor where the kids were supposed to sleep was not warm enough despite electric heaters that were provided. We also couldn’t give 5 stars for a cleanliness rating as some deep cleaning is required. All in all, our family was very comfortable and we’d stay here again. One note to add for planning purposes, because of the recent and abundant snowfall and the property incline, there wasn’t 4 parking spaces as advertised. There was only a narrow driveway where we could fit two trucks in single file. One of the family members had to leave their vehicle down the hill. On the upside, there was plenty of fresh snow to play in.

Is in need of maintenance and a good deep cleaning.

This cabin is so easy to get to and has such an amazing view! LOTS of space for everyone to sleep. COLD refreshing water and HOT water (very hot) works great. Water pressure is also amazing! Perfect for a get away out of the heat for us!

Luxurious Cabin Trip
This property was perfectly located, had ample parking and an overall comfortable stay. The most memorable part of our stay was the views. We utilized all the floors and the rooms. The family room on the third floor was the best place to veg out on a Sunday afternoon and watch football. I found that the spare bedroom downstairs with the heater in the room was a bit loud and drab. Overall a very spacious property. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Would recommend for a large group.

House was great only thing is that downstairs we had small plug in heaters and they kept making the lights go off downstairs . Also there was no ping-pong table like shown in the picture. Loud furnace

Cabin-great view
We had a great time at the cabin. Definitely older then I expected. I was someone what shocked when we arrived I expected something more modern. Cabin overall is a nice cabin once inside. No issues everything worked. Great view. It had everything we needed in the kitchen.

Fabulous Views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. The two family rooms gave us plenty of room to spread out; the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils; and we had fun sitting on the veranda watching the wildlife.

Cabin and location was great!
Over all the cabin was great, if I come back to Brian head, I'd definitely stay there again. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars instead of 4. The BBQ has seen better days and is in great need on being replaced. Otherwise everything was expected!

View-topia
The house is a great size for 6 adults. It has an amazing view and a great location. However, the internet is very unreliable and only worked about 20 percent of the time, the screen door to the deck was broken, and there were no window coverings in the upstairs east facing bedroom. The noise coming out of the furnace room in the basement was so loud that you could not sleep in the bedroom next to it. The basement back porch is in disrepair.

Beautiful Area!
Brian Head is a beautiful area. This cabin has the potential to be a great place. However it could use some updating. We had no blinds or window coverings in one of the bedrooms, I was told they took them down due to sun rot but never replaced them. The view was gorgeous but don’t plan on sleeping or changing cloths. The screen door was broken off the track so we couldn’t have airflow without flies or squirrels wanting to come in. Bars stools were broken. Bed mattresses in severe need of updating. Supplies were very limited for our group of 12 . We had a great time with family enjoyed the area. but we were disappointed in our accommodations. Pictures were deceiving. With a little maintenance and updating this could be a great place to stay.

If you like the smell of gas...
The bottom level smelled like gasoline because the owner stores 4 ohv vehicles in the garage which is on the bottom level. We were told it was because the weather was warming up.
But I don't know many people that want to spend almost $300 a night only to have to deal with a third of the property being unusable. And being told by the managment that its not harmful. It may not be harmful but it's not comfortable or ideal. We were offered to move to a different location but we were on a tight schedule and we had just spent 2.5 hours settling in to this location. The prospect of having to repack and resettle (as a family of 6) outweighed our hope that this situation would be remedied by leaving the garage door open. We were reimbursed for our first night which we appreciated. We left the garage door open most of our stay as management suggested in hopes that we would be able to use the bottom level. On the last night we were able to sleep on the bottom level. We kept the garage door closed so that we wouldn't freeze. It snowed overnight, it was in the teens. By the time we checked out and the gas smell was intense and we could smell it on the main floor every time we passed by the steps (which was a shock because we were told the gas smell was present because the weather was warming up). I was left feeling like I was lied to. In writing this, my hope to is to help others and that the owners would find a way to remedy this situation to avoid future issues. I typically don't write negative reviews because I own a couple of businesses and I know that things don't always turn out as well as we would hope. The dishwasher was out of order and one of the blinds in a bedroom was not sized properly which made it extremely bright first thing in the morning. I would be willing to give this place a five star review if those were the only issues because the views are incredible, but the bottom floor smelling like a gas station makes this a 3 star.

Amazing views
The unpaved driveway was such a pain, all the guests sunk in the mud and had muddy shoes the entire trip. Cabin was nice, the family photos in multiple rooms was a bit creepy. The property manager informed me that the dishwasher was not working the day prior to arriving and they issued a credit. A sink in the master bathroom wouldn't drain properly. But the cabin and th views were amazing.

Great stay during our ski trip. Highly recommend this house
Easy to deal with management company. The welcome information was helpful and included everything we needed to know about the house for our stay. Easy exit instructions made the whole process enjoyable.

Family and Friends
This gorgeous property was perfect for the three families that shared it. We had a wide range of children traveling with us, from 4 to 17 years of age and every one of them had a fabulous experience. We woke up every morning and enjoyed breakfast together while looking at the ski slopes and plotting our day. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

House was as expected. Nothing perfect, drive way was not plowed and it is 4x4 REQUIRED. Great location and plenty of room. Downstairs breakers had to reset constantly and the tv internet situation was a nightmare to keep anything working. Other than that we enjoyed the stay.

Great Location, Great Views, Good Cabin
The cabin location and the views are about as good as you can get in Brian Head, that is certain. You definitely want AWD or 4x4 if the driveway is slick.
The layout was perfect for our group of 3 couples and 4 kids. The bottom floor is a bit chilly at night, but a great place to let the kids entertain themselves. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is relatively well stocked with good cookware.
The drawbacks are mainly due to upkeep. I'll echo some concerns from previous reviews that mentioned scuff marks on the walls and some smudges on the carpet from muddy shoes. I'll also mention some slow draining sinks and finicky wifi.
All that said, this was by far the best value around for a full cabin over the holiday weekend. Will likely be back.

For the price, the carpets were filthy and there were several scuff marks on some of the walls. Several blinds were missing off the back porch sliding door. If you stay here I would recommend taking photos of the damage and stains to cover your @$$ to avoid extra fees. Furthermore this particular cabin advertised a ping pong table which was not present during the stay. A little disappointing but not the end of the world. The random family portrait in the master bedroom is very creepy. Despite everything I just mentioned, our stay was 10/10. Enjoyed every moment, every view, every amenity and feature that this cabin offered. Will book again however you guys need to have maintenance address the issues mentioned above and for g-d sakes, replace that family portrait with something else. Thank you! Sincerely, Max
