Exceptional

Great guesthouse, the host actually lives there so can see how real Brazilian people live. It is only a few steps from the main square. Breakfast is delicious with home made jams and pao de queijo. There are 2 dogs, at least 1 cat, and in the morning can see wild monkeys and parrots outside on the terrace. A lovely and peaceful place. Also, the host speaks some English, very helpful.

Great location, great view and comfy bed!

The breakfast was great. I loved that I could bring my dog. Nothing to complain about! Great view and although close to the centre it wasn't noisy. Although no personal parking space, I was able to park very close by.

Great location and garden.

Very good location, right in the center of this little town. The garden is magic. Breakfast was OK. The house is old .The walls are thick and the windows of the room I was in were very small so there was not much light. This is a description I fully understand this it not something that should or can be changed. I assume that not all rooms are like that.

The bathroom was used and cleaned the next day after I moved in..

The true spirit of Ouro Preto

It's an old house with a lovely garden. If you are into ARTS, ANTIQUITIES, HISTORY and CULTURE that's the place to be. So many beautiful details collected during the life of this family. The pousada is close to all main attractions. I've got a delicuous jam they usually serve for the breakfast as a present from my host.

Cars must be banned from the historical center of Ouro Preto!
