It is a very, very impressive private hotel. We stayed in this amazing hotel for 5 nights. Located in the heart of old Istanbul, within walking distance from all main historical attractions. Our Andersen room was impeccably clean, with an impressive Turkish breakfast. Staff is readily available to help with priceless advice.Surrounded by dozens of restaurants and a short distance to public transport. 5 stars, highly recommended

Excellent location, quiet but close to many restaurants and tourist areas. The staff goes out of their way for guests. The breakfast is amazing, so many delicious little dishes, authentic Turkish food. The sea view rooms with balconies are fantastic. The sea view rooms that do not have balconies are great too since they have door-sized windows that open like a Juliet balcony. Much better than the larger, less personal hotels and an excellent value.

Nothing, except we felt bad that we couldn't eat all the food they gave us for breakfast- though we wanted to, it was so good!

Amazing hotel for a long layover

My husband and I stayed for one night at this beautiful hotel during a long layover. Staff was friendly and the rooms super comfortable. Location was the best part as we were super close to main city landmarks

We did not get a chance the well known and highly rated breakfast because of an early flight

Great place to stay with an amazing breakfast and welcoming team

Everything was a 10/10 Never had such a good room cleaning, they cleaned every day as if someone new was coming to the room! Above excellent breakfast and everyone is really friendly and helpful

The hotel in front has a very loud AC, we were able to sleep without any issue but if you are sensitive to noise this could be an issue because you can hear it even with the closed window

Amazing location, wonderful breakfast and very helpful staff

The location of the hotel is the best. The breakfast is absolutely wonderful (local and international alternatives). We needed gluten free food and they provided us many options. The staff is amazing, very helpful. We would recommend Hotel Poem to anyone.

Great Stay at Hotel Poem in the heart of Istanbul.

The location is very centric, just on street inside from the walking street area around Sultanahmet Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Several shops and restaurants when you step outside on the street offering good food and a lot of variety. The area is a bit difficult to reach as it is the heart of the main tourist place, a lot of people and traffic during peak hours. Walking was the best way around the area. The hotel itself was amazing, the view from our room of the Bosphorous was amazing, the staff at the hotel were extremely helpful. The breakfast was amazing! One of the best breakfast served to us during our 14 day tour of Turkey. Would recommend anyone wanting to stay near the main tourist attractions in Istanbul to stay here at Hotel Poem.

Bester Hotelaufenthalt in familiärer Umgebung seit langem

Der Aufenthalt im Hotel Poem wirkt noch nach. Die Zeit war sehr schön. Angefangen vom freundlichen Empfang, das liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, was sich mit den vielen Details durch das ganze Haus zog, das wirklich außergewöhnliche Frühstück, was ein absolutes Highlight war, über das sehr herzliche Personal und die tollen Tipps hat einfach alles gestimmt. Auch der organisierte Bootsausflug und die Hamamempfehlung haben die Reise bereichert. Ich kann das Hotel ohne Einschränkung empfehlen und sage Teşekkür ederim!

Would happily visit again and recommend to anyone

The design was great I love all the poet touches, the staff friendly and so very helpful. Emerald is gorgeous. Location is perfect and the terrace overlooking the Bosphorus was great.

The air conditioning was a bit slow to cool the room but as we had a balcony we could open the doors and let some fresh air in until it worked

Wonderful experience, could definitely stay again.

The location couldn't be better than this, walking distance to all the key places in the historical peninsula. The breakfast was excellent. The staff are super helpful and nice.

The tour and sightseeing services were mostly commercial options.

One of the Best in Istanbul

I loved everything about this hotel. It was one of the best hotels I've seen in istanbul. We stayed in the Agatha Christie room. I love the concept behind the hotel, the uniqueness, and the architecture. The breakfast is amazing. The room is comfortable and has everything you need (more than any other hotel I've stayed in). It's in a good location. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay in it again. It's totally worth it.

The rooms are small, but it didn't take away from the amazing experience. We had too many bags anyway 🤣

The hotel was well situated if you want to see the old city of Istanbul. Everything was within walking distance. The staff are fantastic, friendly, efficient and couldn’t do enough for us. I would highly recommend this quirky hotel.

Perfect, I usually do not write review but this hotel is amazing, the staffs are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast started at 8pm, but we had to go airport earlier. They still tried their best to prepare the breakfast for us. Excellent service, clean room, everyday our room was made very tidy. The bed is comfortable and spotless. Recommended!

Outstanding service and amazing people

Arif and Gokhan along with all the other people working at Hotel Poem were so welcoming and helpful. The team of people are what makes this hotel very special. Our daughter loved the home made cookies in the lounge and we loved the incredible Turkish breakfast that was so plentiful and delicious. Our room was spacious and lovely. We really enjoyed our stay as it was also perfectly located in the Old Town.

There was nothing we did not like about the hotel itself. The only annoying thing for us that was outside the hotel’s control was a small child that screamed every night for 3 nights. As a light sleeper this was frustrating but uncontrollable. We had the Pierre Lotte room so if you are a light sleeper request another room as this is on the ground floor near the stairwell entrance and the lounge so you do get woken by late comers and the people entering the service cupboard opposite.

Perfect friendly small hotel close to all the sights

The staff of Hotel Poem couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly- they offered advice of what to see & the best way to use ferries & trams. The breakfast was amazing each morning, with different treats each day, it set us up for our day. The location is excellent 5 mins walk from Haga Sophia & the tram station. Plus there are lots of restaurants around the side streets - but shop around as some are over priced.

We struggled with the air conditioning but this was a small niggle!

Hotel Poem is not your regular hotel. everything is A class! the rooms are amazing, the staff is sooo niceee! they are the best, they are there always to help you. congratulations to Poem hotel, keep up the good work. On another point, we got a free upgrade and lots of smiles. the location is perfect, u can visit all important sites, tram is at 10min walk, restaurants are great. 10+ stars for this hotel
