About this cabin rental
Located on a quiet country road, this pet-friendly (pet fee applies*) cabin is less than five miles from eight of North Georgia's best wineries and wedding venues, perfect for a weekend getaway or for some time away from it all. The cabin is in Lumpkin County near Dahlonega, and is less than 20 minutes to Cleveland and 25 minutes to Helen.
This cabin has a very quiet, peaceful setting, and White Dog Farm, which offers horseback riding lessons, is only a quarter mile down the road. Whether you’re here to hike to see one of the many nearby waterfalls or mountain views or just to sit by the fire roasting marshmallows, this is the place for you.
The cabin sits on a seven-acre tract with shared access to a playground and creek. Outside amenities include a six-person hot tub, a large wrap-around porch with a beautiful pavilion, as well as a gas and wood fire pit.
The cabin is very charming, with its rustic exposed beams and hardwood and knotty pine floors. It’s cooled by a ductless wall unit in the living room (which is adequate for the entire cabin) and ceiling fans, and is heated by the ductless unit and the propane fireplace.
Guests have access to the entire cabin and property. The playground and field area are a 325 ft walk through the woods from the cabin and are shared access with the other cabin on the property. The dog pen is private (not shared), and is 20 feet from the cabin. We are available if needed.

We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property, pet friendly, just needed more seating but otherwise it was great!

First, very easy to book and kind property managers. Second, location is basically like beinf on the property. Less than a mile from Neverland. Absolutely perfect for the Bridal party to get ready prior to the wedding and stay the night. The back deck is the cutest! Loved the setting and everyone thought it was perfect. If you are considering for bridal party, a close get ready place, or even for the bride and groom for the night of the wedding it works! Thank you!

Property management was
Friendly and accommodating. Cabin was clean and taken care of.
Would only recommend a dishwasher (although I know due to plumbing that may not be possible) so quests don’t have to wash dishes, but other than that factor I loved the property, location, hot tub, fire pit and wonderful and accommodating property management.
Great property!

So much fun, great space, everything you need is right there and the cabin is so cozy!!!

We rented the cabin for our son’s wedding nearby. Other family members stayed at another cabin next door which made it very convenient for everyone. The fire pits, in both the front and back deck, made for a relaxing evening. The property and cabin itself were impeccably clean and all of the mattresses were unbelievably comfortable. I just wish we had more time to stay and enjoy everything. The only thing I would have recommended was to have live TV versus just a Smart TV, however we were aware of this when booking. The host was very quick to answer any of our questions and very professional. I give it an A+.

Perfect big little cabin!
Our family of four, along with our two dogs, just spent three nights here in celebration of our twenty year wedding anniversary. It was beyond perfect for our family. We didn’t even realize that there was a huge (and super cute) new dog pen area. So impressive! We were out exploring the nearby towns and trails a lot, but our time spent at this cabin was perfect.

Quiet Getaway
Great location. Nice area for those with young kids. We enjoyed the playground, deck, and fire pit. No dishwasher or washer and dryer, which we knew before booking. The property had an accurate description. Owner was very easy to communicate with!
The only con, if I had to come up with one, is that there wasn’t anything other than a dish rag to wash the dishes. The corner market didn’t have any either. The soap wasn’t great so I’m not sure how clean the dishes actually got when we washed them before checkout.
Great little cabin!!

Long weekend in Dahlonega
The Little Big Cabin was everything stated in the description and pictures, and more. It was clean on the inside and out, very well maintained, stocked with all of the necessities. It came with specific instructions on all of the electronics, the hot tub, how firewood works, etc. Matt was super responsive via the VRBO app. We will definitely be back!

We used thus cabin for a mother daughter getaway and it was perfect! The cabin was in a beautiful area and perfect for kids and adults. The location was great because there were lavender farms and other local farms to visit nearby and it was also super close to downtown Dahlonega and downtown Helen. The owners were so quick to respond to any and every question I had. They also leave clear instructions for everything in the cabin as well as check in and check out.

I first want to say I typically don't leave bad reviews, and I hope this leaves no hurt feelings, but will maybe help improve this listing. I book often through VRBO, and have always been impressed with our stays. I was SOOO excited about this one as it was in a cute little cabin with everything we wanted. When we arrived in the cabin it was super clean. It was a rainy chilly day so we tried to get the fire place to work.. even with all 4 of us trying and re reading the instructions over and over again, it would not work. The firepit was our next go to.. we looked high and low in the cabin for a lighter and not one to be found. I contacted the owner and he was very prompt in coming and helping, and left us with a lighter, but it even took him a few tries to get everything going. The dishes were old, and the pots and pans felt like they were going to bust at the handles. The description says "dishwasher" but the only dishwasher was ourselves. There wasn't one. Our second day there I killed 5 wasps in side, and there was also bugs in the cabinets. No paper towels were included, and I felt there was bare minimum essentials.* FOR THE PRICE* we paid. I like to book through these sites as they usually include everything you should need except food. On a positive note, the hot tub was nice and clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the water got nice and HOT.

Great place!!!! Very quiet and beautiful. Hot tub is in the front so you can see people and cars going by. It would be nice if it was in the back or some type of privacy screen was around the hot tub. Other than that it was Great.

This was the perfect place for a 4-night stay in North GA. We were looking for a pet friendly cabin close to Helen with a hot tub and a fire pit. This place checked all boxes and some! The cabin was clean, easy to find, and fully equipped. Beds were actually super comfortable and the kitchen was pretty well stocked. Our only challenge was limited storage for unpacking our luggage (which didn’t make or break our trip at all). There’s a great little path down to a huge field with a playground and horse shoes. Things not to miss: Anna Ruby Falls and Dukes Creek Falls for hiking, the Georgia Mountain Coaster in Helen, and Nacoochee Outdoor Adventures (skip the tour and just do the 1/2 mile zip line). We had some INCREDIBLE sushi at Spice 55, and some decent takeout from Clyde’s Tavern. We will definitely return to this location.

Property is a greatly get away. Nice and quiet. Hot tub and the covered gas fire place hangout are amazing additions. Road leading up to the property is lose gravel/ rocks and is the only worry depending on your vehicle.
