The room was great!! just had been renovated very nice, lots of room, was really surprised at how much room it had like unbelievable the kitchen was outstanding and shower was huge. Great location most everything in walking distance.
They had no parking lot had to pay 30 dollars a night to use public parking garage that was one block over. The shower was great but had no soap and shampoo holders maybe they haven't installed yet due to the renovation. Maybe they can work out a deal with the parking garage for a better price!

Very spacious and comfortable.
The only thing was construction noise from the building next door. They started at 6am. We always bring earplugs and have white noise apps ready for when we travel.

The location was perfect. Right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. Easy walking distance to everything.
The living room carpet was stained/dirty, needs to be replaced. A lot of noise outside from large trucks untill early morning hours, probably due to single pane windows.

I highly recommend The Quarters on King as a place to stay when in Charleston. It’s conveniently located in the heart of the tourist area and in walking distance to many attractions restaurants and shops. It’s also close to the stops for the free bus that takes you to many tourist destinations. The apartment was very large, very clean, a contemporary style with state-of-the-art appliances. Beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were clean and had a fabulous shower that was roomy with a rain shower head above and a 4-spray handheld shower head. We stayed in room 201, and if you have a party of 2-4, 5 if someone is willing to sleep on the couch, this is definitely where you want to stay. It will make your trip that much better.
It was just a bit noisy in the late evening since your on the Main Street, however it’s not really a distraction.

The size was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to get upstairs.
There was plenty of room for our group. The washer and dryer was a great bonus!
Construction started at 7 am with VERY loud banging and drilling. We were awoken out of bed with a jolt and it continued to be that noisy until we checked out. We had 5 people and we could not locate any extra blankets for the sofa bed. We had to call and get access to another unit to take some from there.

Location. Directly on King St. Center of historic district. Nice furnishings
Wasnt informed of construction on building when reserved this property! Why?? $462 a night & Couldnt sleep all night !! Contacted office was told "manager not in will have him contact you to help resolve this issue, we've gotten multiple calls about this lately & were very sorry , will get to the bottom of this I PROMISE " !!! Kept getting woken up from metal clanging from construction on rear of building! King St. One way st w/no place to unload vehicle of luggage etc.. they say pull down side st to unload vehicle but construction on rear of building with roll away dumpster blocking side of building. Parking lot is about 3 blocks away unless you pay to park in different lot ( which I suggest) it's been 3 days and still haven't gotten call from " manager" , was told manager doesn't work weekends & he's been busy with the " construction & move " ?? Well isnt the customer most important part of a business?? Guess NOT for some businesses!! I've called 4 times to property & 3 times to Bookings.com NO HELP !!!

Location was perfect (on the nicer part of King Street)! Rainbow Row, Waterfront Park and Market all within 10mins walk. The size of accommodation was excellent!
We obviously got one of the non refurbished suites as nothing like the images on website. Also some amenities (such as washing machine) were not available as advertised. The suite had damp and did not smell good! Also major construction works happening directly adjacent to property so early morning wake up call obligatory not optional:)
Communication was initially great, and almost instant prior to check in, but complete silence once questioned as to absence of some advertised amenities. The only communication was then to ask if we were clear of the room.

The location was great, but the accommodation's wasn't worth the cost .
The mattresses need updating.

Location, Private patio, Style of suite
Stairs to get to unit, floors needed cleaning, no broom onsite, no basic cable TV, lack of good view, furniture needs cleaning, needs new mattresses, and old cookware

Having a full unit with a kitchen was great for our family. The location was also very central and easy to get to everything.
While the sheets/towels etc were all clean, the rooms did seem to be a bit rundown (cracks & chips, mold in the bathroom) and there were very few things provided (no onsite staff, no housekeeping, teeny tiny toiletries); I wish this had been more prominently communicated before I booked. The hotel staff was also very hard to reach, which was an issue when the code to our room was changed last minute without telling us, the wifi didn't work, and we couldn't ask about a late check out.

location is perfect.
half bath toilet was broken. Kitchen was noct stocked with enough essentials. Limited blankets. There was a consistent odor probably due to King street location. Called management to fix toilet in hall bathroom, they said they would send someone and call but never got a call back.

location and roomy
no good place to unload your car. parking a block a half away . no elevator and step stairs . Had to walk from parking to room with lots of luggage

the location was perfect. the unit was amazing and perfect to rest after a long day walking the city. it is located in the heart of the shopping district and was close to gelato
there wasn't anything we didn't like. the beds were comfortable, technology was easy to use. the stairs are a little steep and the last tread to the second floor is taller than the others so it became a tripping hazard for my son.

spacious apartment
when booking, it was not clear that there were two long flights of steps. And then the apartment also had a full flight of stops. I am 72 years old and when reading about this place, I understood it to be a hotel. Maybe more definition needs to be put in your description. This was more of an Airbnb

The location was perfect. So close to so many restaurants, bars, and shopping. Once we parked the car, we were able to walk pretty much everywhere we went.
Parking was a little bit far and unloading items was hard because of the limited street parking and construction going on. Also wish there was an elevator as we were on the 3rd floor and it was hard to carry up all of our luggage.
5.0
Bed was comfortable.
No breakfast was included (if it was I wasn't aware of it). Parking was not included (I paid over $500 per night for lodging and then had to pay additionally for parking). Not easily accessible from the street (had to climb 2 long flights of stairs with luggage).

great location
It could have been better appointed such as supplied with K-cups at least for coffee. It is dated and bath tub mildew in caulk. Needs new paint desperately. There’s a lot of dingy walls with scuff marks.
For the price, a bit more attention to detail would be expected.

Excellent location right on King Street! Was very secure and safe in a super popular area of Charleston. Super clean, had a ton of room, and would be perfect for families.
Nothing! Great experience overall.

comfortable and plenty of room
all the stairs and parking to unload not good. the space they said we could use was not available work crew had debris and trucks . so had to drag our bags a block then climb all the steps.

Location was awesome and staff were really trying to make things pleasant. The loft like space is a great concept.
As there is a lot of construction in adjacent buildings, the power (and main security) were out for at least a day. The unit power remained on. On the last day, water was turned off at 10 am (check out is at 10). One of the biggest issues is the keypad security: as I work in architecture, we rarely specify keypad security as it requires a lot of ongoing management and if not done properly, it allows all previous 'tenants' potential access. Additionally, the suite doors only have the battery powered digitial key pads ...there needs to be the night bolt/manual door block.
