Not great for a woman travelling alone at night

The apartment is very clean and just a 10 minute ride from the airport.

Ended up in this motel as a last resource when my flight got cancelled. The neighbourhood is sketchy for a woman travelling alone and arriving late at night - I was quite scared. My taxi had a hard time finding the motel because the signs are not very visible and there is no door at street level. For some reason, the automated check-in machine gave me the wrong room number (probably a leftover ticket from the previous guest) and since there is no staff at night, I found myself in a tricky situation where I couldn't access the room. I ended up just trying my luck with the key in other rooms and it worked. The apartment is basic and not nicely decorated.

Ausstattung des Zimmers gut, sehr sauber. Freundliches Personal, erfüllt auch Sonderwünsche.

Leider kein Frühstück, war aber bekannt.

Schleche Kommunikation, Fahrstuhl defekt.

Das Zimmer war groß und gut ausgestattet, das Parken auf dem Parkdeck war im März 2024 kostenlos.

Obwohl ich 18 Tage vor der Anreise einen Hund angemeldet habe, wurde ich erst am Anreisetag darüber Informiert, dass dieser 20€ zusätzlich kostet. Bei den anderen Hotels unserer Reise kam die Info über Zusatzkosten direkt nach der Anfrage. Noch dazu nehmen andere Unterkünfte 5-15€ anstatt 20€ für einen Hund. Leider konnte ich das Zimmer nicht mehr stornieren, da die Auskunft (mutwillig?) erst nach dem Stornierungszeitraum kam. Leider war auch der einzige Fahrstuhl des Hotels defekt, so dass ich unseren 15 Jahre alten Hund jedes mal zum Gassi gehen 4 Etagen runter- und wieder hochtragen musste. Die Vorhänge sind rechts und links leider nicht komplett verdunkelnd, weshalb die Morgensonne ein recht früher Wecker ist.

nettes Personal, moderne saubere große Zimmer, ruhige Lage, Parkmöglichkeiten

die Temperatur an der Dusche läßt sich durch den elektrischen Durchlauferhitzer nicht optimal einstellen( entweder zu kalt, oder zu heiss )

Very pleasant and light room

The room was a nice size, with lots of light and facilities. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice, there was also a decent kitchenette should someone stay for a few nights!

The walk to the hotel from the train station was not lit at night, and the booking in past their checking time was quite slow - however were very grateful they did have an out of hours check in as our flight was delayed!

Convenient short stay

Good sized rooms for a quick stop over, very close to the airport. The room was clean and had large beds. There was a machine to get the keys, so a late check in was possible.

It was not warm enough in the room and even the shower was only lukewarm. There was no staff on site, even during reception hours, so we could not ask any questions.

Very good

Relatively new interior, clean, comfortable beds, the kitchenette offers everything you need for basic cooking. No noise from the airport, free parking, WiFi working fine. Norma supermarket at the ground floor. S-Bahn within 10-15 minutes walk (through a brownfield), taking an RB train to the city center is much faster (50 min direct S9 vs. 15+5 min RB24 with change to S-Bahn at Ostkreuz). Very close to A13 highway. The description and photos here are accurate.

Elevator out of order, the notice on its door looked quite old, so maybe it is not working for a longer time. Empty reception (during working hours written on its door) - you have to fully rely on the electronic check-in working. On the other hand, the machine requires only your name to check-in. We misread the confirmation e-mail and arrived sooner than 3 p.m. when the self-check-in starts. No instruction for check-out... so we just threw our door-cards into a letterbox behind the entrance door, hoping everything will be OK.

Very good

Checkin process was very smooth . Parking was convenient. Rooms were really good . The whole experience was hassle free and smooth.

It was too hot and there was no air-conditioning or fan available . This should have been offered

Money well spent

The room was very clean and spacious. Bed is super comfortable. Towels were included even though it was not listed under the room details so it was a pleasant surprise. :) Receptionist was extremely nice and welcoming. I would gladly recommend the accomodation.

Public transportation is almost non-existent in the morning. Be prepared to call a taxi or Uber to take you to the nearest metro,bus, etc. stop.

Why you charge extra money for parking, when it is actually free for all? There is no working barrier at the parking area.

Comfortable and spacious room in a convenient location

Very friendly and accommodating staff. We were able to check in earlier, at 10 am, greeted by a very professional receptionist who helped us to carry the luggage into the room. He also offered us a cot for our baby to sleep in. The room is bright, spacious, and sparkly clean, with a very comfortable bed and all essential furniture. We had a great stay. Although Motel Plus doesn't have a lobby or restaurant services, another hotel nearby offers a great breakfast buffet and serves coffee and drinks all day.

The neighborhood is not very interesting but the hotel is conveniently located near the airport and train station, with easy connections to the city center.

Bad

We could not get into our room because the self check in machine did not dispense a key to us once it processed our check-in. We immediately told them the next morning that we were not able to get in and asked for a refund, no one has responded. I have followed up 3 times. It was a very cold night in December - minus 11 degree wind chill - we were so cold and stuck out in the middle of nowhere. We eventually found our way back to the airport and sat in the airport the entire night and next day. We never warmed up and eventually got sick from being so chilled and exhausted.

Superb

This was our second time here. I was dropping one daughter at the airport and picking another one up. The motel was very convenient for this due to its location. It’s like 12 minutes drive. We had a room on the 4th floor this time which was nice as we didn’t overlook the carpark like last time. There was a supermarket downstairs so one could buy some food, we used the microwave to cook some cold meals. The guy at the reception was very friendly.

The room was extremely cold when we came as the heating was switched off. We put it on and it took quite a while for the room to warm.

HUGE disappointment. We arrived before 00.00, self-checkin didnt work, CS did not help, hate it!

The breakfast was awful as I did not get it because we did not get into the room even! Please dont book this place as the customer service means some random immigrant guys getting paid and not really doing anything else than just picking up the call.

They promise to check you in automatically and the machines dont work! Then the customer service of the property says sorry nothing we can do! Noone came there to let us in even they had close by another property.

Highly Recommended

The staff were really helpful and friendly. They have a super quick and easy self-check-in system. The room was very spacious; clean; warm; and had a wonderful view across the countryside. The kitchen appliances are new and great for preparing meals or making tea and coffee. There is a useful Supermarket directly beneath the Motel, which is open Mo-Sa from 7am-21pm.
