About this cabin rental
Welcome to Summit Castle, a one-of-a-kind luxury log castle, which finished construction in February 2018. Set on a private 3.5 acre lot, Summit Castle is a stunning 6 bedroom, 6 1/2 bathroom mountain lodge with an impressive list of amenities. As you pull into the circle drive, park under the portico and walk through the double castle doors, you will be amazed at the magnificent views of the Smoky Mountains from this massive 3 story cabin! Each space in this rustic-style cabin has been beautifully designed, from the stone turret and log exterior, incredible open great room and dining area, and barn-style theater room.
This 4,570 sq. ft. Pigeon Forge cabin has enough room for multiple families and couples. The adults will be happy with the five king bed master suites with attached full bathrooms. The kids and kids at heart will be ecstatic with their sleeping options, including a bunk room that sleeps 8, several daybeds (for kids that prefer to sleep in the same room as their parents) and futons. For the comfort of all guests, the Castle is recommended for no more than 14 adults and for no more than 20 guests total, including adults and kids who can sleep on the bunk beds, daybeds and futons.
Located off of Wears Valley Road, you will find an entertainment paradise! This cabin offers a wide variety of amenities such as, a barn-style theater room with comfy reclining theater seats and a massive 82" HDTV, with premium cable and On Demand; Xbox One; Official Pop-A-Shot Dual Shot Basketball Arcade Game; pool table; air hockey; and multicade arcade system (containing tons of classics like Pac-Man, Galaga, Frogger, Donkey Kong, Space Invaders, Ms. Pac-Man, etc.). If you prefer to play outdoor games, the large flat yard is perfect for games such as the corn hole that is available for Summit Castle guests.
Summit Castle features a beautiful fully-equipped kitchen with natural-wood cabinets and granite countertops. Feeding a large group is a breeze with 2 ovens, 2 built-in microwaves, 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, pots and pans, cooking utensils and ample counter space to prep. All guests will be able to dine together on the 2 large log tables, kitchen peninsula, and the covered outdoor dining table just outside the dining area.
Looking for a more laid back environment? This cabin also offers your very own large hot tub and a resort-style gas fire pit Rock your cares away in the cabin’s many rocking chairs. Each morning, you can awake to incredible mountain views that leave no doubt why they are called the Smoky Mountains.
In this 24/7 world, we can rarely getaway from our jobs. Summit Castle has its own mountain-view office, complete with a rustic wood desk and chairs, and fast Wifi.
Summit Castle has a dedicated housekeeping crew that cleans and maintains it to high standards (most cabin rentals are serviced by rotating crews who clean many cabins per day). Many previous guests have described the Castle as very clean. We have two full sets of luxurious sheets and towels for the Castle that are meticulously cleaned and switched out before each stay, so you are not dealing with linens that were previously used in a cabin that allowed smoking, pets or fraternity parties. We have added liquid hand soap to each sink to ensure that all guests can continue to keep themselves and others germ-free.

Wonderful place in the mountains with plenty of space. Was very helpful to have double fridges, ovens, sinks, etc with this group of 17. We had two bear sightings which the kids loved! Thank you for the stay!!

Overall a fantastic experience! We really enjoyed the house and the large bedrooms and adequate beds allowed our large family plenty of space without being on top of one another. Mindy was very easy to communicate with as well!

This cabin was absolutely wonderful. My family and I had a blast. It is close to Pigeon Forge but is incredibly private as well. Mindy was a pleasure to work with and always quick to respond to questions.

Traveling with 9 adults and 5 children (4-mos. to 10 yrs. old) we very much appreciated all the comforts of home with many more perks! Our grandchildren loved the game room and theater room. Our children (parents of our grandchildren) enjoyed not having to go out for meals, preferring to cook family meals together. The kitchen at the cabin provided us with everything we needed, such as plates, cups, silverware, drinking glasses, cooking tools, and pots & pans. We really appreciated the two ovens, two dishwashers, two microwaves, two refrigerators, two toasters, two coffeemakers, and a Keurig! So helpful!
The views of the mountain were spectacular! The rocking chairs on the decks were used often. After a day of hiking in Smoky Mountain National Park, our children and grandchildren enjoyed the hot tub. We had fun at Dollywood (try the Cinnamon Bread), Lost Mine Mountain Roller Coaster & Miniature Golf, and Ripley's Aquarium.
The cabin is a quick 10 minutes away from the grocery store. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed our time in the mountains. Our children and grandchildren all wished for a few more days...sign of a wonderful vacation!
One tip we have to share is to plan your meals ahead of time for a few nights and then stop at the grocery store (Kroger or Publix) on your way to the cabin, because you won't want to leave this lovely home! Thanks Mindy and Mike for sharing your mountain cabin with us! We had a memorable 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration!

We had a small family reunion and there was plenty of room and activities in the cabin let alone all the things to do in the surrounding area. We had a great time! Mindy was awesome!

Mindy is very prompt when communicating with her. The cabin is less than 10 minutes from the main road in Pigeon Forge but is far enough that you don't know you're in Pigeon Forge. The neighborhood is quiet and the cabins are spaced out so you don't feel crowed. There is plenty of room inside for people to gather with out being on top of each other.

The summit castle was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. We had one day of rain but it didn’t matter because of all the fun things to do right there at the cabin from the pool table on the top floor to the many games and amazing theater room on the bottom floor! My family and I had a blast! The owner, Mindy, was also very informational and quick to respond with any questions. She is also always so kind! It was also cleaned very well! Highly recommend staying at the Summit Castle!

We had a family reunion at Summit Castle! Wow! What an incredible experience!! The house is absolutely amazing! From the hot tub, fire pit, movie theater room, game rooms, amazing views, to comfortable beds, everything was top notch quality. We went to Dollywood for the first time and it was close to the cabin. Every one from children to adults LOVED Summit Castle. It was an incredible property with beautiful mountain views. HIGHLY recommend. The host, Mindy and her husband are awesome. Always available to answer any questions or concerns we had. Thank you for sharing this amazing property with our family. We had the best vacation ever!

We brought our employees and their spouses for a weekend getaway. When we arrived at the castle, we were blown away with how beautiful this home is. The view in the pictures is what sold me on this listing but the pictures don't even come close to doing it justice. ABSOLUTE BEST VIEW! All the leaves were starting to change so it was very pretty. The cabin is so spacious and was very clean upon arrival. We really loved sitting by the gas fire pit. We also enjoyed playing on the arcade game. If I had to give any suggestions at all, it would be to maybe put some more hooks in the bedrooms/bathrooms to hang clothes or housecoat on but thats not even a big deal. If your looking to book this place...DO IT! You wont regret it!

Nice home. We had 5 couples. All had own King bed and private baths. Kids room was very nice. (We had no kids with us.) But the kids room has 2 separate toilets and with separate showers. Theater room was nice size. The home can sleep at least 20 but the size of the living room and dining area were tight for 10 adults. Beautiful back deck. We saw a black bear the 1st morning. Good location. Kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, plates, silverware, pots & pans. You could make a huge meal. Just have to bring all spices, salt, pepper, sugar, and food. We had a great time. Just wish we looked at the activity that was going on in Pigeon Forge. Lol. Rod week made the roads very busy. I was told was worse week before with 45,000 Jeep’s.

We loved everything about this property. There was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen and how it was stocked was a dream! We stayed for 7 nights and cooked every day! Only one little hiccup and the owner was so quick to respond. I would highly recommend to anyone!

Home has a great view, very well stocked kitchen for our large family. 2 dishwashers was a great touch. Bear came by daily to check on us! Home was very clean, great layout, and we will definitely stay here in the future. Owner was great to work with.

The house was wonderful with lovely views of the mountains. The kitchen was amazing with two of everything! We enjoyed all the games, firepit, and hot tub. It seems remote, but it was so easy to get to town and grocery when needed. It was a fabulous place for our family to create memories!

We absolutely loved our stay at Summit Castle. The location is perfect and the views are incredible. We had everything we needed and space for everyone. Tim and I visited with our friends and family for our wedding weekend. We loved the large well equipped kitchen and dining room where we could share a meal with everyone. We enjoyed ending our days relaxing in the hot tub, taking in the views from the decks or by the fire, and playing games. It was the perfect place for our getaway! Thank you for sharing your home.

We had four families (each with two kids), staying at the Summit Castle and everyone enjoyed their stay very much! There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and we especially enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub! The location was great with its close proximity to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Mindy was a pleasure to work with and we appreciated all of the extras she included for guests at the cabin.

Mindy is exceptional. Every detailed covered. House immaculate. Kitchen is the best stocked. Spacious home. The kids loved it. Gorgeous neighborhood. Comfy beds. View is gorgeous. Top notch. And we have stayed in a lot of VRBO all over country.

We had the absolute best time at Summit Castle. I have stayed in quite a few other rentals over the years and none have impressed me like this. The views walking in are breath taking...the neighborhood is also very quite and the few people we saw were very friendly. The rooms were extremely clean, beds were comfortable, the large kitchen was great...I cooked every day and I definitely didnt want to go home after having 2 of every appliance! We had 7 adults and 5 kids, and never once did we feel on top of each other. The layout was perfect.
Mindy, the owner, is just a dream to work with! We got married in the back yard of the cabin...she was so nice and accommodating throughout the whole process. Not all owners are like Mindy...and they should be!!
We couldn't have asked for a better place to make a memory of a lifetime. Just book it without any hesitations! We are already planning another trip!

This property had a beautiful view from every angle, clean and well kept, with the home large enough for our large family. We like the feel of a cabin, yet had a castle look, making it a fun atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the Knight in armor decor. The kitchen had plenty of room for preparing meals and the extra dishwasher was nice to get the clean up done quickly. We had enough activities available to keep us entertain and continent to stay put and enjoy each others company. The property is close to activities for those who would like to do something outside of the home. If you have little ones, the sound does travel throughout the house, no insulation in the walls. The stairway can be dangerous. We were able to block off the hallway to prevent toddlers from getting close to the them. Overall, we enjoyed staying in this home and definite would like to go back.

10 adults for our dad’s (grandfather’s) 80th birthday. The owners thought of absolutely everything with this property. Amazing location, views and overall stay.

Stayed here with several coaches and teammates for a Ripken tourney. 7 adults, 3 teens, 5 x12 year olds, and 3 x 8 year olds. House was great. Lots of room. Clean. Bear visited every day so be careful. Lots of tvs beds bathrooms privacy and greet location. A bit loud with so many ppl in house but that would have been the case in any house. Highly recommend.

There are no words that describe Summit Castle that would do it justice we were all blown away by the beauty, the space, the amenities, and the friendliness of the property owner Mindy. We had a group of 13 adults from 21-70 years old. Summit Castle far exceeded all of our expectations. Mindy was a pleasure to work with and was always available throughout the planning stages and our stay. Mindy and her family have literally thought of everything to accommodate everyone.

So clean and beautiful
We've visited the area 6 times now and stayed in 6 different cabins. Summit Castle was by far the cleanest! The parking was great and the yard was beautiful. All of the dishes, glasses, bakeware, utensils, etc made this cabin stand out from the rest. This kitchen was stocked and ready for a large group (this hasn't been the case in other cabins). The large hot tub and gas fire pit were wonderful! And the owners were so wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend this cabin!

Family Celebration
We rented this house for our extended family of 14. It was wonderful!! There was room for everyone and it was clean(that was an important point)! Our one son had to work during the vacation and he had a room with a desk off their bedroom with a beautiful view of the mountains while he worked. The internet was fast and worked perfectly. Besides hiking and doing all the tourist things in the area, the house had entertainment for all ages. We had kids from 10 to 20 and they were all happy with the different games and theater room. It was so nice to have two of everything in the kitchen plus plenty of room at the table for all of us to eat together. There was only one time when we lost power in one room and I texted Mindy. They responded immediately and told us where to find the breaker box to solve the problem. They were super about answering any questions. The only problem we had was the weather was so hot we didn’t get to enjoy the fire pit! I would definitely recommend this house - we had a wonderful time and made lasting family memories.

Beautiful spacious cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay. We were supposed to have 11 people total however due to some last minute unexpected health problems we ended up with 9 people with 6 vehicles that all fit comfortably in the parking area and could’ve fit a few more. Our rooms were spacious and the whole cabin was clean and tidy. I communicated with the owner several times with quick responses every time. No complaints here and would stay again!
