This was our 4th stay at this comfortable and cozy Cape Cod home. It is literally 50 feet from Nickerson State Park which we love! It is also close to Brewster beaches and in general centrally located to restaurants and various activities. The yard is fenced so our dogs are safe outside. The backyard backs up to conservation land and provides for a peaceful deck experience. The home has all the amenities for a comfortable stay. Hopefully, we will be back next year!

This is our third stay at this cute home and it doesn't disappoint! We were fortunate to stay three weeks here and enjoyed every minute! The house is well equipped for eating in with a full kitchen, clean, air conditioning, washer/dryer(a must on the Cape),comfortable family/den area downstairs with large screened TV, deck and fenced in yard for our dogs. The home is 50 feet from Nickerson State park, rail trails, and less than 5 minutes away from beautiful Brewster Bay beaches! Also, the owners are very responsive to renters. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying here again!

Great location for accessing bike trails!
My family of 4 stayed here for two nights to be able to ride the Cape Cod Rail Trail. This house was in the perfect location! Just feet away was access to the paved bike/walking trails in Nickerson Park and the paved Cape Cod Rail Trail was about a 1.5 mile bike ride away at the entrance to Nickerson Park. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Checkin was easy and communication with the owner was great. We brought our dog and walked him on the trails in the park and even took him when we went for a drive to Provincetown. The whole Cape is very dog friendly! We would like to stay again for another weekend in the future!

Close to so many things!
The property was perfect for what we enjoy doing-biking, kayaking, beaching. It is so close to the state park, about 3 houses from the entrance and a short walk or bike ride to the pond. Stayed cool inside, coffee pot was excellent as was the outdoor shower!

Fantastic Winter Getaway
Our family just spent a long weekend at this house and it was perfect! It is clean and comfortable and has everything you could need. The fenced in yard was great for the dog! We walked to Nickerson State Park, we drove to several beaches and even did an easy day trip to Provincetown. It is so central and there is so much to do. We also spent lots of fun family time playing games and hanging out in the living room because it was so cozy and inviting. Liz was very easy to work with and answered all of my questions. There were no issues at all - the driveway and walk were cleared of snow when we arrived and there was even a welcome bag! I'd absolutely recommend this property for anyone looking for a cozy winter getaway!

What a fantastic location for biking, swimming, walking, boating and relaxing! The fact that it backs up to Nickerson State Park, an easy walk, was the houses finest feature. We greatly appreciated this, as well as the cleanliness and dog-friendliness of the house.

Great Spot!
Really great spot! Walk to Cliff Pond in Nickerson State Park. Yard is wonderful for dogs. House was clean and very comfortable. I'd highly recommend this spot for families/folks looking for a quite relaxing location on The Cape.

Good spot for a biking vacation
This house is located a stone's throw from the bike paths at Nickerson State Park (which means you don't have to load your bikes on a car and drive there.) That is the biggest plus. However you are not close to a pond or swimming area. There were no chairs for the deck so we had to carry metal folding chairs up from the basement. I would hope the homeowner would spring for some resin chairs from Target and also do some lawn cleanup. House has decent appliances, wi-fi and TVs.

September on the Cape!
We really enjoyed our stay here. What a perfect spot next to the Park and only a 5 minute or so walk to one of the ponds. Just a lovely morning to wake up to. So perfect to bring our daughter and her family and our dogs! We were in the area for a family wedding and this was a perfect spot to relax in between events. Thank you for the games in the closet - I had the privilege of teaching my granddaughter how to play solitaire while we waited for others to wake up, just like my grandmother did with me. Lovely deck to enjoy our morning coffee and unwind. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful and the owner was so responsive to questions. Very comfortable and clean which is a must for me as I travel for work. Perfect backyard for the dogs!!! Thank you again!

Nice neighborhood, walk to Nickerson State Park
For our annual Cape Cod holiday, my family - 6 adults and a toddler - rented this Brewster home from July 2 to July 9. The location is great! It is right next to Nickerson State Park. Basically, you make a left from the driveway, walk 1 minute and you are in the park. We loved beach time on Cliff Pond (15 minutes on foot) and walking the dog on the well paved trails that weave through the lovely forest. It was also a quick drive to Crosby Landing Beach, Paine's Landing Beach, Kate's Seafood, The Brewster Scoop, General Store, Corporation Beach, and all the fun stuff in Orleans. We met a few of the neighbors and all were very friendly.
It was a hot and humid week so we appreciated the air conditioning in each bedroom. The two bedrooms with king and queen beds were very comfortable. The two twin beds in the third bedroom were extremely uncomfortable. The mattresses were thin foam that compressed under weight and you basically slept on top of the wooden bars of the box spring. One can argue that these were designed for children but in a vacation rental, all beds should be comfortable for all ages. The trundle bed in the finished basement was also uncomfortable and needed to have it's screws tightened; it was squeaky and wobbled a little. These are easy to fix and would have earned a higher rating.
Overall, the property was well maintained. We've rented several Cape homes and know not to expect Ritz Carlton levels of luxury but cleanliness is definitely a basic requirement. The coffee maker had old coffee crusted on the basket and the carafe was not washed. The baseboard heating units all around had visible bugs and cobwebs. Behind the trundle bed in the basement were dead insects and more cobwebs. We cleaned the propane grill and had to empty out the grease receptacle. It was almost overflowing with grease, disgusting and a fire hazard. Again, these are easy to remedy by more attention to detail by the owner or cleaning contractor and would have earned another star.
The owner, Liz, was very friendly and responded to our questions very quickly before and during our stay. One evening, the combination of a blow dryer and room air conditioner tripped the circuit breaker. Liz was most quick to respond to my messaging and we were able to reset the breaker easily.
In a nutshell: great Brewster location, a well maintained home and very nice neighborhood. With more attention to cleaning detail and new mattresses for the twin beds, this home would get more stars.

All you need in a vacation home
Our family stayed here for a winter getaway on Cape Cod and it was a perfect retreat situated right near gorgeous Nickerson State Park. It's a peaceful, relaxed, welcoming home in a rustic residential area off the beaten path. We couldn't believe we could walk by foot to Nickerson State Park, and we spent hours upon hours hiking these very gorgeous woods. We can't wait to return in warm weather to swim and kayak in the pristine waters.
The home is exceptionally clean, has a very comfortable living room, and great accommodations for sleeping with really comfortable beds (sleeps a gazillion people--we had our pick of rooms!). It also had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable, cook some of our meals, enjoy some tv watching when we were exhausted, etc. Although we didn't have young kids with us on this trip, we noticed that the neighborhood is quiet, safe, and the fenced backyard provides ample space for unsupervised play time. Best of all, we got to bring our pup with us, which is such a treat for a vacation like this. He adored the backyard and the hikes!
We had never explored Brewster before and it's a charming sea captain's town filled with antique stores, charming restaurants, and an ideal launching point for exploring local color. You must go to Crosby Landing at low tide to walk the flats of Cape Cod Bay. In off season, dogs are allowed off leash, and we're pretty sure our pup never had more fun. We dined at the Bramble Inn, also in Brewster, and the food was classy and unforgettable.
The owners are delightful and approachable and were very willing to answer all of the questions we threw at them! They were very patient with us.
We can't recommend staying here more. We'll be back!
