Good location, cute neighborhood but no working Hot Tub. Initially Vacasa staff seemed confused about whether or not property even had a hot tub which was frustrating. I noticed the hot tub photo was removed from listing days before check in, but was never notified it didn’t work before I arrived . Local management confirmed it was not operating and I'm waiting for a partial refund .

We arrived and were happy to see that the Chalet was as it appeared in the listing A little smaller than expected but quant. We were very disappointed at the condition of the deck covered in leaves and debris and broken tree limbs that had not been cleared from the deck We were excited to use the hot tub as this was a major selling point for us But unfortunately it didn't work the water was ice cold and the fuse box for the hot tub kept tripping when we tried it so we decided it wasn't safe I called VRBO customer service and they said someone would get back to me within the hour Someone called the next morning and apologized for the inconvenience and that someone would be out the following day to fix it
I explained that we were checking out the next day He again apologized and offered a refund of $150.00 and let us have a late check out at noon
It wasn't the money that mattered honestly When you rent a VRBO with the expectation of having a hot tub and it doesn't work its frustrating You can't check in until 4pm because there is someone there cleaning Wouldn't they check the cleanliness of the hot tub and be sure its working? It was very disappointing Also even though they said we can check out at noon instead of 10am the cleaning guy was knocking at our door at 10am wondering why we were not ready to leave so obviously No communication I'll rent somewhere else next time

I booked this location a few weeks back specifically because it had a hot tub listed. Upon arriving, the hot tub wasn’t on, wouldn’t turn on, and a Vacasa rep let me know the owners recently took it down from amenities meaning something likely happened. Unfortunately, that’s the only reason I picked this location. It’s cute and was well put together but I simply would have picked a different location had I know or they notified me that it was down. No email, not anything. I would’ve booked a different location had I known. Disappointing to say the least. Working to try to get some sort of reimbursement so I’m holding out hope for some sort of compensation.

Overall we loved our stay and the place was a great space, great location. However the hot tub didn’t work when we got there. It was the main reason we chose this rental over others. We reached out to management and they weren’t able to get someone out to fix it until the next day however no one ever came to fix the issue. Management was quick to respond but not very helpful. Disappointed about the hot tub and spending the extra money for this amenity but otherwise the place was great.

Nice place. Better for three couples rather than individuals since the beds are all double occupancy. Very comfortable and relaxing.
2.0 / 10.0
The place does not look like the pictures at all. It is not well maintained at all.
The dishes and the oven were dirty. The property manager was clearly aware that cleanliness was an issue for this cabin as a recent comment had mentioned it. Given this, they could have sent someone to check before our arrival, they did not.
The hot tub was not working. We informed the property manager upon our arrival, they told us they would take care of it, they never did.
We asked for a partial refund. It’s been one week. They keep saying they will take care of it. Yeah, sure…
Needless to say, I do not recommend to rent this place. And I will not rent any property managed by Vacasa in the future.

This property badly needs to be up dated, new paint and carpeting would help a lot. The bathroom sink upstairs needs to be replaced as it has many worn spots and chips. Small amenities are missing such as a dust pan to go with the broom and a waste basket in the upstairs bed room. Watch out for the extra "service" fee. However, the location can't be beat and is very close to the resort.

It was cozy, quiet, comfortable, and clean. It was exactly what us 5 needed to have to relax in as we explored Alaska!

This cabin is in a great location, good size, and was an added bonus that we could bring our dogs. The check in process was seamless and all amenities were very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

House was as advertised, clean. Kids loved the hot tub. It was a short walk to ski lifts, we will definitely stay again, thank you!

The house is great for families that need some space and want to have meals there and down time/naps. I did let them know they need to add some more forks/spoons and also some basic water/beer/wine glasses. Only found coffee mugs. Plenty of towels for showering and hot tub. Hot tub was nice and private, but be prepared to shovel yourself if it dumps snow. Beds were fine and plenty of seating for meals but living room furniture could use an update. House itself is picturesque with lots of chalet style windows to enjoy the snow piled up outside. Location is ideal!

My husband and I enjoyed our short stay for our honeymoon! Lots of snow and beautiful scenery, super close to all of Girdwood / Alyeska amenities. Comfy beds and most things you need in the kitchen.
A Keurig and maybe a few other more commonly used items (we left cooking spray for others) would be helpful, if you plan to cook I would recommend checking the cupboard before you go shopping or bring all you'll need.
Beware there isn't a lot of hot water so you may need to space out showers.
Extra blankets in the livingroom would be another great perk. We used an extra blanket from the closet, but hate to dirty a larger linen just to cozy up on the couch.
Overall we loved the place, and it was plenty roomy for a family. Beautiful views and available hot tub to use!
Hoping we can visit here again!

Nice location. Roomy!! Highly recommend!

Nice home and clean. Few concerns. Hot tub is in full view of all the neighbors so was not used. There are no window coverings in living room so we're in a fish bowl surrounded by neighbors when it's dark. Recliners sound like they'll break as soon as you recline. Shower handle comes completely off so you have to balance it back on to turn water on & to off.

Very cute place! I was a bit disappointed that the hot tub is backed up to a parking lot, maybe throw up a privacy fence!Other than that it was great! Having the washer and dryer is a huge bonus! This place was my key to Girdwood which I fell completely in love with! I will be back!!!

The cabin was clean and had plenty of room for our family if 4 to spread out. Appliances were new, property was clean, and the hot tub was nice. You are close to other cabins, however the surrounding trees and shrubs make it seem more secluded. The cabin is close to stores and restaurants, the scenery was beautiful. The only reason I am not leaving a 5 star review is the bed in the master bedroom. It squeaked every time I moved, the mattress was not very comfortable, and the pillows were flat. Taking that into consideration, I would still give this rental a 4.8.

The unit was very clean and had preparations for every eventuality…, Extra towels… Extra Bedding… Laundry detergent… All of the appliances were new and clean and worked! It was a Win- Win- Win!
8.0 / 10.0
We liked this house, the washer/dryer, kitchen and location in Girdwood. Only reason for not a 5 star is that the bed spring and the recliners need to be replaced. The bed spring was the squeakiest I have ever experienced and recliner would not stay reclined.

We had a nice time. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay from towels, dishes, games, and coffee. Very cute and would stay again!
2.0 / 10.0
This home is in horrible condition with worn carpets and linens, the hot tub looks into a parking lot with no privacy and the living room has no curtains so also no privacy. We could not stay in the home and are still awaiting a confirmation for our refund from Vacasa who has been very non-responsive. Steer clear of this one and look for a home that has a responsive on site property manager. Very disappointing to say the least.

Great quaint cabin. We enjoyed our little getaway. We would come back.
4.0 / 10.0
Bathroom shower surround and upstairs sink show major wear or damage. Upstairs toilet leaks. Minimal dishes, only 3 drinking cups, 4 different sized bowls, fry pans badly scraped nonstick (teflon was badly scratched did not feel safe to use), luckily one good stainless pan to use, not enough silverware for a party of 6. Advertised for party of six, the table only seats 5. There was a fireplace, no wood and no note about purchasing wood prior to the visit. For $400 a night one bundle of wood would have been nice.
Beds squeak and hard pillows.
The walkways leading to the home had significant ice build up, it was clear folks from prior visits had fallen off narrow walkway due to bush encroachment into the pathway.
10 am check out and 4 pm check in is very limiting for the price, asked for a later checkout and no useful response.
The location was very nice, enough room for our group and the hot tub was a bonus.
Not likely to stay here again at this price for the limited amenities.

LOVED that this place allowed pets and has a hot tub. Dates but functional space for a getaway! It’s spacious and served us well for what we needed.

The most beautiful location. The views are out of this world. It's so quiet. Everything was great. It's a perfect location. The jacuzzi was awesome too.
6.0 / 10.0
Four days before arrival I was contacted and told the hot tub doesn't work. I was told we could be relocated or they would refund $100 per night, if we elected to stay. I asked what my relocation options were, and was told they would contact me with relocation options, and then I didn't hear anything else, despite repeated calls to find out our options. When I was finally given one relocation option, I told them we would stay where we are and take the $100 per night refund. At that time, I was told the person who offered the $100 per night refund didn't have the authority to offer a $100 per night refund, and they would only give me a $50 per night refund.
I was also told the hot tub would be repaired on 26Oct, two days before our departure, but no one ever came to fix it.
The condo has not been updated since the 70s. There is a Jacuzzi tub, which was the reason we elected to stay rather than be relocated, but there wasn't even enough hot water for two showers, let alone to fill up the tub.
There was no extra toilet paper, so we had to get the toilet paper from the half-bath upstairs. Speaking of upstairs, there is a nail or something sharp protruding from the second stair from the top.
There were disposable cups in the cabinet, and some of them had names written on them, and should have been thrown away.
The smoke detector beeped constantly, and the battery needs to be replaced. The batteries also need to be replaced in the remote control.
The cover below the oven won't stay on, and the refrigerator makes a very loud banging noise, and sounds like it is on it's last leg.
In short, pick another place, this one is not worth the cost.
Homeowner, you should pick another property management company, Vacasa did a very poor job of representing you.

Was super cute and comfy. Perfect for a adults night away from kids. Felt right at home with everything ready to go and a full kitchen.

Stayed here with a family of 6. Mostly comfortable, cute cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub and bbq. The beds could use updating. We had an issue with a few things and management responded quickly, which was great. The bath/shower is tricky and in our opinion dangerously slippery and unstable.
However the location is perfect for exploring Girdwood and the surrounding area!

We loved this little place. We were on a girls trip to celebrate my mom's 87th birthday. We had one little problem with the dryer, but Vacasa responded immediately to our request. Great location, and very quiet neighborhood. Definitely coming back to this place.

Nice location, easy check in and check out. It was great to relax the hot tub after hiking. Could use a better selection of dining ware, especially bowls and drinking glasses. We enjoyed our stay in Girdwood.
