Reception staff - Gabrielle was amazing. She is a true Ambassador for the hotel, do nurture her. She was very friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Thank you Gabrielle.

Good bed, good location, secure parking.
The air conditioning was not functioning properly. Organised replacement room and same issue. Room 107 and 207 Disabled Access. Cut short trip and did not stay second night as planned

Location
Checked in at 1730hrs. Asked for double bed. Got two singles. No one at reception. Called phone number on key card with no response. Staff on reception in AM said she had no idea about room layout and offered a meek apology. Beds uncomfortable.

Room 301. $15 - P/N Tight Carpark.
We liked that the apartment was clean, near restaurants, alcohol BWS, bakeries and a supermarket.
Queen room was compact especially the bathroom area. The balcony is around 1 meter wide and has no room for outdoor furniture etc. Nice curtains. Cooking area sufficient for cooking basic meals. Champagne glasses. Modern looking Apartment.
Good layout with bed opposite TV.
Good supply of bathroom products.
Lift - Requires Room Card to Operate.
The things that could be improved:
Instructions on how to use the equipment such as A/C, TV and Dishwasher.
The shower leaks. So either get it fixed or provide more towels to keep the floor dry.
The mattress needs replacing as it sags in the middle.
There should be extra blankets and pillows in the room. We only found one spare pillow. No extra towels either.
One tiny milk isn’t enough for two people for two days.
The air conditioner is too complicated to use. Some basic instructions would help. Same goes for the TV. There is also a washing machine but there is nowhere to hang your clothes.
Carpark has a lumpy entry and needs marking with paint to make the IN and OUT stand out. A few other reviewers noted this also. Cost is $15 per night. The area is busy with paid meter parking around the hotel. It’s best to book a space in advance or you could pay more on the street.

Great price, great location, compact but lovely comfortable rooms. This was my 4th stay at an Abode - I'm a fan.
The pre arrival checkin was pointless and just seemed like an opportunity for Abode to try to upsell services. I thought that was a waste of my time.

Love the location and friendly staff.
Highly recommended.

The room was really quiet, and nice and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. And it had a nice little kitchen.
Close proximity to many good cafes, bars and restaurants.
We could have our 2 dogs in the room with us. (Although this was at an extortionate cost!)
The $50/night/dog surcharge was a rude shock at check-in. This fee was not clearly stated when I booked.(perhaps a fault with the booking.com app?)
The car park spaces were extremely tight as was the exit angle. Not great for a longer vehicle.
The air freshener that seemed to pervade the corridors and reception was overpowering.

Quiet. Clean. convenient. This is a really good spot to stay.
Before arriving I’d requested a reserved car bay. And received email confirmation. On arrival, no parking. It was sorted out for the next night but annoying to start with.
