We were a group of four adults and one child. This house was in a wonderful location, with absolutely beautiful views. I may have been distracted by the beauty of the house and views to have paid close attention to the listing information but the location/access to the second bedroom would be problematic for anyone with accessibility needs or during bad weather (in that indoor access requires climbing a ladder) and probably wouldn't be safe for most young children. But the kitchen was wonderfully appointed and there are a lot of games and movies available for use which was a lovely touch. It's a relatively small space (again hopefully most people pay closer attention to the listing information than I did) so it's a great space to spend with people who really like each other. :) Would be perfect for a couple and/or family with teenagers.

The house is in a nice location and has a wonderful front patio. We encountered some minor issues while staying at the house but the manager was very responsive.

Beautiful mountain getaway
Getting into the property was a struggle. The door code wasn’t working. The trash cans were full from the previous guest and there was no dumpster on the property. Other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

Local Getaway
We rented this house as a local getaway the week of July 4th. The property is nice. There was enough space and privacy between the grouping of 6 homes. Views of the mountains are beautiful. Minus the construction noise and constant “beep” of large machines backing up. It looks like new buildings are going up right down the hill. Since we were gone most all day the only time we really noticed them was in the mornings.
We had read comments of cleanliness being a concern. We did end up washing the master bedroom sheets before we slept in them. There was quite a bit of what looked like dog hair on them. It wasn’t overly concerning because we know it’s not easy to remove soft/fine dog fluff, even when freshly washed and dried. Everything else was pristine!
*Oh, by the way, we had emailed to ask how big the dog kennel provided was, and never received a reply. It was a smaller plastic kennel that might hold up to a 30lb dog or even less.
The positioning of the camera by the front door was concerning to us. We didn’t want to sit right outside the front door, where they have a table and chairs, due to privacy concerns. We didn’t know how wide the camera angle was, and felt less ‘watched’ in chairs at the bottom of the spiral stairs.
We also didn’t realize there was no AC. Our fault for not reading the details closer. July with no AC - Yikes! We are spoiled;) Once we received the instructions, there is mention of opening windows and having a breeze. We didn’t feel that was enough for how warm it was the days we were there. We weren’t in the home much during the day, but it took a bit too cool off in the evening. We actually slept on the couch due to how warm the room got during the night.
Overall this is a great home to relax and enjoy mountain views!

The ladder is steep
We were confused by the description - anyone renting this house should know that the upstairs is inaccessible to older adults and dogs that don't want to be carried. The ladder steep and stairs are outside so if the weather is bad you'll get wet or cold. And there is no bath upstairs so you have to climb down the ladder for the toilet. Nice location. Fraser and Winter Park are good little towns.

Unclean & unloved - good for view only
I'm reluctantly writing this poor review after trying to contact host and booking partner 'Evolve'.
Pros: This is a property for 2 people with a king bed - it has a small living area with an outside spiral staircase access to a desk & twin beds upstairs in the loft . It is unique with a nice kitchen, great views and privacy from neighbors.
Cons: It truly needs a deep clean, plus rubbish left outside with personal items from previous guests, strewn over driveway from animals, floors black with dirt and bathrooms unclean. The property was once a gem and now looks and feels tired. My standout issues are: no blackout blinds on west facing windows - it's like an oven even with snow on the ground. TV is placed in an awkward position above sofa, dog poo outside everywhere, even on the path to the door. Bathrooms were unclean and no toiletries for the shower/bath. No toaster, kettle doesn't turn off and the outside grill advertised in the property headline is dirty and falling apart. Missing & broken artwork with unpainted holes on the walls. Rugs were peeling up causing trip hazards on patio & foyer. Perishable food left in cupboards and personal belongings in bathroom. It was a disappointing experience especially with the extensive instructions of do's and don'ts you need to perform as a guest to stay there. Recent previous reviews mentioned cleaning and nothing was done before our stay to address the issue.

Okay for a short stay
The property was not cleaned properly. In the small shed beside the garage were about a dozen full bags of trash. The gas grill does not work
The views are very nice and it’s private

Wonderful views
The property and views were even better than we expected. We were close to the town of Fraser and close to skiing. The door lock didn't initially work for us and our host was immediately available to assit/fix the issue. Would stay again!

Great place to relax
The property was a great place to relax. There were a few odd things… For example of the couch is not in the right spot to watch TV. We noticed the cleanliness of the refrigerator and stove were sub par. The bathroom with the Japanese tub was fun and the steam shower was nice. It was odd seeing all the owner stuff in the place as most vacation rentals you don’t see that. The kitchen was stocked just fine. The location was incredible especially if you’re into skiing or snowmobiling. Very close to town. This is a very unique space and we truly enjoyed ourselves.

Stunning Views
We loved our stay in Fraser! This place is incredible and the views are amazing. Clean, easy going check in/out process, great place to stay with dogs. I recommend a 4WD vehicle due to the location (with snow). This place had high ceilings and felt open but cozy all at the same time. Grocery store near by, 10 min drive to the ski resort.

Lovely Location, Ok Cabin, Unresponsive Host
The location of this property was so very lovely. We enjoyed it's proximity to the town of Fraser and we had Moose (Mama and baby) in the yard one morning which made our whole trip!
House is cute but needs a deep cleaning. The sectional is awkwardly situated so that you can't really use the tv very well. Be aware that if you stay in the winter, you will need to go outside to access the upper level. There is a trap door in the floor with a ladder but that didn't really work for our teenager, so he was constantly coming in and out as it was snowing. Addionally, there is a tv upstairs that is not hooked up and is just lying on the desk.
We sent the host a message twice asking for an early check in and never got a response, as well as messaged her about the fire place. Again no response. We did eventually get it working on our own.
All in all, it really was a beautiful place to stay and seeing the moose made it all worth it!

Picturesque scenery
Every part of our trip with this property satisfied us. There is a tiny room to improve cleanliness especially kitchen and cooking tools, though. But we loved our stay here all in all.

Nice Little Home
Overall it was a good experience. The home has a good layout with nice views. If you are using VRBO to book, beware that you will get all of your check in info from a separate email/company (evolve?). It was quite confusing as I've always had correspondence through VRBO on past homes.

A Mixed Bag
We stayed here two weeks in August 2021, 2 adults and a dog. We are experienced travelers who have used vacation home rentals domestically and abroad for 10 years or more. We have written few reviews but this time we felt compelled. We will start with the positives—the location, privacy, pet friendly features, and mountain views are outstanding. Those would have rated 5 stars if it were not for a huge RV infringing on the views, poor management and even worse housekeeping. A week into our stay we wrote Evolve about some of these issues and got a form reply and the issues were never addressed in the 2 week stay. The house has a keyless entry that does not work. Management was aware of this from prior tenants. When we were locked in and could not get out without climbing the ladder to the upstairs exterior door, management finally allowed us to get a key out of the lockbox to use. However, we never were able to lock the door from inside which presents security issues. The ovens were filthy and had dirty pans inside. We would not touch the BBQ grill & utensils they were so dirty. The house seemed to be stocked with only what previous renters left behind. Bring your own paper goods, garbage bags, and staples you would normally find in a vacation rental. 4 remotes on the table and no media instructions? As other reviewers have mentioned, there is no bathroom upstairs and you can only get to the upstairs via a ladder attached to the wall or an outside spiral staircase. The garage and laundry access on the lower level is also only via an outside spiral staircase. There were wet towels in the washer and and dry sheets in the dryer when we arrived. This house has such potential if management chooses to address these issues.

Nice location and house, but cleanliness was poor. Appliances very dirty and hair in sheets. Fix cleaning problem and all would be well.

Lovely get away!
We so enjoyed our time at this home in Fraser. The views are amazing and the kids loved the loft. Easy access to everything we wanted to do!

Feels secluded, while incredibly accessible.
The Good:
-Location was perfect. You’re pretty isolated in the little enclave, but still so close to shopping/activities/etc.
-The property contact was super helpful with directions on how to turn on the water and water heater.
The Bad:
-The beds upstairs are essentially thin foam pads on box springs.
-Don’t try and shower in the “soaking tub”, as the nozzle sprays wider than the tub. Also, using the step to exit the tub can be pretty sketchy when wet.
-The other bathroom gave off a moldy odor, which I can only assume comes from the steam shower.
The Ugly:
-We were pretty disappointed in the cleanliness of the property given the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Had we visited any other time I’m sure it wouldn’t have bothered us as much- but it was a little unnerving, given the circumstances.
Also, having cameras on you is a little uncomfortable.
All in all, not the worst choice and the location and ease of travel trumped most of the cons.

Xmas in Fraser
Great views and very cool house! One drawback is the second bedroom is upstairs. Only way to access is by using an uncomfortable metal ladder or the cold outside staircase. Good for 12 year old boys, but not adults. Not easy to get to bathroom from second bedroom, especially in the middle of the night.
The second bathroom had a strange set up for the shower with the soaking tub and was frustrating just showering in there.
Could use more comfortable living room seating for adults.
Beds were very comfortable! The property was very quiet. We enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful house and fantastic views. The house is unique and built and decorated with an artistic to
We enjoyed our stay and the views we're wonderful. The outside staircase to the lift are is a bit odd in the winter, our little boy went up the ladder and thought it was loads of fun. Refrigerator and pantry were well stocked and we found everything for cooking. We'd happily stay in this lovely home again.

Unexpected requests/Somewhat Clean
The furniture had not been vacuumed and there was white pet hair from the last occupants everywhere, to include kitchen counters. Stove was also not clean. The kitchen sink was still had food in it and there was a blood spot on one of the pillow cases from upstairs. Be aware that this property owner asks renters to do additional steps that are not provided until the property gets booked; to include shutting on/off water valves, unplugging appliances and dealing with the hot water heater. Directions and road names listed in check-in instructions also did not match road names, which made navigation to the property a bit confusing unless GPS was used. Overall, the property itself could have easily earned 5 stars had it been cleaner and I wasn't asked to do things the property owner should do; the views were beautiful though.

Loved our stay in Fraser!
The housing was excellent and was exactly what was listed on the website. The town of Fraser was wonderful. We had a gorgeous view and it was very quiet in town which we appreciated. We also liked how close Fraser was to many different trails and parks. We hope to come back some day!

My family of four stayed here for two nights. Our 4 and 7 yo loved the loft, sledding and playing the yard. We loved the soaking tub as well! It was nice and secluded. We loved all of the windows...the views were spectacular!

This was our second time staying at this property and we'll definitely book it again. It's a great space and convenient location. My son loved the loft and it was great having our dog come along too!

Great house for our family needs.
My family of five rented the house. Three adult children slept upstairs since they are much younger than my me and my husband. We suggest closing the door above the stairs at night. The steps to upstairs can be challenging. You have to use the spiral staircase outside for your luggage. We loved the location of the house. We enjoyed our morning coffee watching the snow and the mountain views are beautiful. Michelle was extremely accommodating. We loved the steam shower, especially after a day of skiing! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The rooms were a nice size. The only negatives - the location of the tv and the living room seemed dark at night. The tv placement was not a problem for us because we did not watch tv during our stay.

Stunning and Convenient - Perfect!
This house was just perfect for my family of 5, as we stayed in Fraser while skiing at Winter Park. The house was wonderful- modern, clean, high end finishes, and a beautiful view. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen, just a great place for us to relax after skiing. Just a mile or so away from the main grocery store in town, which made it very convenient for us if we needed to pick up anything we needed. Very clean, very complete instructions for how to check in and check out. Overall, just a great place to stay with a family.
