Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location with easy access to groceries, restaurants and downtown. The house is large and provides plenty of space for 6 or more. The amenities lists a hot tub, but there’s not one, a claw foot tub in the upstairs bathroom (not the same thing). There’s an ant issue in the kitchen around the sink, so beware of leaving food out/coffee spoons. Had to request the check in info a few hours before arrival, host was responsive when messaged.

Our family had a fantastic time staying in this centrally located home. Very clean, and 2 minutes from everything. Grove park, Liberty Cafe, Taco Temple etc.. I would highly recommend staying here with family/friends.

So glad we stayed here! Other visits to Asheville we’ve stayed right in the center of the action and we much preferred this more (only slightly) off the beaten path spot. The front porch is where we spent most of our time, even in 90 degree heat it was cool and pleasant. Perfect neighborhood, quiet and walk right across the street to get anything you need at Harris teeter. It was nice to have the conveniences of a house and be less than a mile to all the restaurants and bars. Took a stroll around the block and admired all the beautiful native gardens. Perfect, perfect, perfect.

The wrap around front porch was the best. A cool breeze made it the ideal place for coffee and cocktails. Conveniently located to everything in a colorful neighborhood. A proper bed in the upstairs TV room would improve comfort and capacity. Other than that it was the perfect rental.

This VRBO is a lovely home in an ideal setting. It's location is in a well maintained older neighborhood BUT only a block away there's a Trader Joes, Whole Foods Market, and a Chick Filet. It's also within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants.
The Homeowner couldn't have been more responsive and helpful, particularly when I left an article behind. I am so grateful for their kindness. We will definitely rent this home again when we visit Asheville next year.

The house is perfect for a
large group to hang out and be together. Communication with owner and property manager easy and incredibly responsive. An easy walk into town during the day. Recommend!!

We had 6 adults and I missed the part about pullout beds. But so glad that I did!! This place was perfect. Great location, adorable neighborhood, easy to walk places. The home has such a unique personality. My daughter restores vintage homes and she just loved this one. With six women, the large kitchen space and table were perfect for gathering, telling stories, and laughing. We loved every minute of it! The only boy in the group was my golden doodle who enjoyed our nice walks through the neighborhood.

Everything worked out very well. A surprise was that the beds beyond the two kings were pull-outs. Could us some new sheets for these beds. We had to hunt for those that were there.
Beyond that, everything was fine and as advertised.

Clean, super location, could use a TV in the downstairs living room and a second hair dryer.
Very solid value for the property and location.

We had a few issues checking in, but were more than satisfied with the compensation from the owner for our original issue with the property manager's availability.
Though it indicated 2 blocks from downtown, it wasn't an easy gentle block type walk though it may have technically been two weeks from the outskirts.
There were four of us and we each had a room to ourselves, which was very convenient though we elected to use the walk in shower on the first floor versus the beautiful claw foot tub which was difficult to get in and out of at our age.
We enjoyed the use of the front porch swings and the huge dining room table with easy access to the open kitchen.
We requested additional face towels and our request was immediately met. All future communication with the owner was prompt, pleasant and very accommodating.

I stayed in this house for a girls weekend. It was a very nice house and slept us all well. It was very clean upon arrival as well. The location was perfect, close enough to the city to walk or drive to downtown easily. We also asked a few questions leading up to the trip and I received quick and helpful answers from the owner.
The only issue was linens/towels. There were 7 towels for 6 people but a couple of the towels were not clean, they had marks/stains on them. We didn’t have extras so we had to make due. There were also no washcloths provided. We ran out of paper towels and toilet paper quickly as well, there was not enough refills provided for as many people the house can hold.

The location is superb, just moments from so many things including all of downtown. But the location is no better than the house itself and the way things are done by property management. Almost astonishingly clean; thoughtfully setup; great AC; back deck table with umbrella; broad front porch; plenty of parking...just ideal. And the house is a nice older house with character galore.

We had a wonderful time in Asheville. The property location worked out well. We had some suggestions for the owners but overall everything was good.

The home offers a ton of space, and we especially enjoyed the huge front porch with the two porch swings and the large kitchen and dining area, which is where we mostly gathered. It's in a great neighborhood and only about a 10 minute walk to downtown along some scenic streets. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay in Asheville here. The house is roomy and lovely. We were traveling with four generations, and we were able to walk to downtown sites or hop in the car to explore the surrounding area. With choices for groceries just down the block, we enjoyed cooking and eating on the back deck. We'd definitely stay here again!

The rental process was easy and the property manager very helpful.

Nice sized place with an excellent location and parking for 2-3 cars in driveway depending on size! Essentially 3 beds (2 and a pull out). There’s another pull out if the weather is nice but otherwise might be too cold (or hot) in the office area (poorly insulated kind of more like a sun porch) and have to walk through another bedroom to get there so not ideal. Lovely little back area and front porch swings. Super nice manager. Would definitely stay there again!

We had a great stay here. The owner was very accommodating to our requests. The house is very big with multiple gathering spaces. There are three grocery stores across the street. It was easy to Uber to restaurants.

Beautiful home convenient to downtown and grocery stores. New back deck was a nice touch!

Great house with plenty of rooms. A bit noisy at night. City doing street work and a group playing basketball in the lot behind the house, at 2 a.m.

Pros- good location, felt safe, big and spacious, clean. Nice kitchen area and outdoor space
Cons- no code given for check in so had to call, no tv in family room downstairs , no soap for showers (intro bar or two nice)

We had a wonderful 8-day stay at the home while visiting and working remotely in Asheville. The place was a great home base for our family of four (2 boys ages 8 and 5). My wife and I were able to work from the home while also exploring all the great things Asheville and the area has to offer (food, hiking, beer). The home is very centrally located, so we were able to get anywhere in the area very easily. We did not attempt to walk to the main downtown area given our kids, but it could be done.
As for the home, the main bedroom on the main floor is great and was perfect for my wife and me. The second bedroom with the queen is also lovely on the second floor. The larger room on the second floor has a pull out queen that works fine, especially for kids, but is not the most comfortable bed. The room is large enough that a real bed may be nice in the future.
The kitchen worked great and has all the essential tools. I cook a lot and took advantage of the grill, oven, and range. All worked great and I was able to find pretty much everything I needed for prep. There was not much to store leftovers in, so if you cook, you may want to bring some bags or Tupperware for leftovers. There are plenty of spices and a TON of ground coffee, so maybe check supplies before you bring more in. As others mentioned, the grocery store (x3) is essentially across the street.
The home is just off a major road, which is convenient for getting around town or to the many hiking trails in the area. Others mentioned the road noise and, as a (very) light sleeper, I was woken up a couple times; however, my wife and kids had no problems with the noise. Earplugs would easily cancel out the noise for light sleepers. You will hear the road while sitting on the porch, though it does not distract from the cool evenings and watching the afternoon rains from the lovely front porch swings.
The TV situation is a bit odd with no TV in the main room, just the main bedroom and upstairs larger room. While we were not there to watch TV, it is something I note. Streaming services are provided and there is a nice soundbar in the main room to hook your phone to so you can enjoy some music.
Finally, while we were there, they were finishing some landscaping and work on a new building on the back. It looks like they are wrapping it up, but note there were workers there throughout the days we were there so maybe check with the owner what the progress is for when you will be there.

We had a wonderful 4 nights in the house. The porch is so nice, and even on a hot day there was a breeze. Ample room in the house for us. Beautiful bathrooms. Comfy beds. What a nice kitchen....but.....the restaurants in Asheville are so amazing we did not cook but wished we had more time to do at least one meal in that kitchen! The location is excellent. Due to construction, we could not park in the drive and had to park up the street a couple of times so that would be the only negative. Very very nice trip. Thank you so much.

Wonderful Asheville Stay!
We had a wonderful time in Asheville. The house is as described. The kitchen is well-equipped. Very convenient to Asheville’s downtown though you do have to walk down a very busy street (if walking). Very convenient to grocery stores. We had a very pleasant time! Thank you!

Great location
This house was perfect for a girl’s weekend. It’s only about a mile to downtown Asheville and grocery stores are across the street. It’s clean, tidy and charming.

Great location, porch
Nice to find a house that's close enough to be walkable to downtown but still has the room for a decent crowd. Porch is great, but you might want to bring a couple of your own chairs. Kitchen is well equipped.
Only thing bringing this down is the lack of beds. A four bedroom house really ought to have four actual beds and maybe some sofa beds as extra. In this location, though, two of the very nice sized bedrooms do NOT have beds. They have pull out sofas that are 'ok'.
It was clear from the listing and we got what was expected, so no complaints on that. It just feels kind of cheap not to have actual beds.
That said, I'd still recommend it and book again.

Very Comfortable house , convenient location
The house is very nice. Exactly like the listing shows it. Very easy and comfortable to stay there. Very convenient to all of Asheville both downtown and surrounding areas. We love the front porch and swing. Well stocked kitchen except there were no wine glasses but the owner within hours corrected that situation. With very nice wine glasses I would definitely recommend staying there.!

Owner is great to deal with and the home is very nice. Close to everything too!

Good place to stay in Asheville.
Property listing says check in at 3 and check out at 11 - but check in is actually at 4 and check out is at 10. Small difference - but still not accurate. The property is very central to downtown Asheville and UNCA. So a great location. Only downside is it is right across the street from a grocery store which is nice - but be aware you will hear delivery trucks early in the morning.

Perfect Accommodations for our Asheville
Convenient location to go anywhere in Asheville. The house had everything we needed for our stay. If we didn't bring it or it wasn't in the house, the grocery store was right across the street.
