About this cottage rental
This darling cabin is perfectly situated in Sunnyside and is just few minutes walk to the private beach, with lake views from our front lawn. Features include a cozy living room with pass-through access to the kitchen. The living and dining room is adorned with a stone gas fireplace, knotty pine walls, carved beams, beautiful wood floors, and rustic pine railings. The darling kitchen is complete with a 1930's original Wedgewood stove.
The master bedroom, with dormer window knotty pine paneling, features a walk-in closet, and a queen sized bed. The second upstairs bedroom includes two double beds, perfect for 2 adults or 4 children. On the first floor, there is a third bedroom with another queen sized bed, which can sleep 1-2 additional guests. (There is also a "flip-flop mattress" in the upstairs closet to accommodate one additional child/teen on the floor, if needed. We also have a "Pak and Play" for tiny ones). In sum, you can easily sleep 6 adults, and a couple more littles if needed.
Drink your morning coffee on the charming front deck, overlooking the beautiful grassy front lawn, and watch the world go by. The backyard is fully enclosed with picnic table seating, a barbecue and a relaxing hammock under the trees.
Your Tahoe retreat is complete with 4 bicycles and helmets (we are right along the bike path!) as well as two kayaks with double-ended paddles-- Note: use both bikes and/or kayaks at your own risk. Most importantly, cottage rental includes key access to Tahoe Park private beach and recreation facilities, such as: beach volleyball, kids playground, horseshoes, basketball hoop, picnic tables and lakeside barbecues. .
For winter guests we are just a few minutes drive to Homewood, Alpine Meadows and Granlibakken Ski and Sled Hill.
**** Responsible pet owners -and potty trained cats and dogs- are allowed. An extra deposit and fee will apply. ****
Sunnyside is the perfect location for all occasions. Walk to Sunnyside Resort, with its live music and sunset dinners. Dinner at Spoon Restaurant is walking distance and never disappoints! Also walking distance is the awesome Westshore Market and the best breakfasts and lunches at nearby Firesign Café.
There is also nearby boat and Seadoo rentals. Easy bike ride to Tahoe City and Truckee river. Short drive to Emerald Bay. We have a binder at the cabin with even more great recommendations!

We loved staying here. It was perfectly perfect and allowed all of us to feel comfortable.

This cottage is an absolute gem in the perfect location. It had everything we needed for a lovely stay - super cozy beds, well stocked kitchen, with a great lighted backyard, kayak, and a paddle board. The location was unparalleled - just a lovely short walk to an exquisite private park with 2 docks, a swimming platform, volleyball courts, basketball hoop, and BBQs.the owners were incredibly responsive and just lovely. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you for a memorable weekend!

Great cabin. Very comfortable for five adults. We walked to Sunnyside & Fire Side for amazing meals and enjoyed the very close proximity to the lake. Definitely would recommend and return!

You cannot beat this location. A short walk to get to the private beach without having to cross any main roads. The house was very quaint and well equipped. For a family of 3 with a toddler and dogs, we had plenty of space and really enjoyed taking advantage of the distance to the beach/playground, and bike trails. The owners were so great and quick to respond with any questions we had. Will definitely be back!

Once we walked into the cabin we felt at home. It was warm, cozy and welcoming, as if we were family. We had beach equipment to bikes available to us. “My house is your house” is what we felt from our host.

The proximity of the lake, Sunnyside, the market and the Firesign cannot be beat. The kayaks and SUP stored by the lake were an added bonus.

We had an amazing time at this cozy cabin and were ecstatic with how close we were to the water!! The private beach access was gorgeous! The cabin itself had everything we needed, was very well stocked with all the staples, comfortable, and the backyard was perfect for my kids and the dog to play in. We even had some family over one night and bbq’d and played cornhole. We can’t wait to go back!!

We enjoyed our stay at Pascha’s cabin. It is a small but very charming and well appointed cabin that cozily fit four adults, a toddler and a dog for our weekend in Tahoe, though could've accommodated another couple with the bedroom downstairs. The spacious backyard and access to the wonderful, private beachside HOA a five minute walk away made the stay. Pascha sent detailed instructions and recommendations and was very responsive and accommodating to our changing plans, letting us use their kayak and SUP (stored down at the HOA) and answering questions. The garage has everything you’d need for a fun day at the lake (chairs, an umbrella, a wagon, beach games, towels). Great location just off highway 89 and a bike route, an easy walk to West Shore Market and Sunnyside, quick drive to Tahoe House bakery. Highly recommend.

This was the perfect little cozy cottage for our stay - with a backyard perfect for our dogs. Its walking distance from private beach access, restaurant and cafe. The hosts provided us with 4 bicycles which we enjoyed on our bike trails around the place. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of more commercialized Tahoe locations.

We had a great time. The house was very clean. Cute as could be. The private beach is wonderful and the lake is spectacular.

This is a great old school cabin that is well kept. The owners were very responsive and we appreciated the professional and kind communication. Everything is laid out well in their homeowner binder in a way that is informative but not overbearing. The owners clearly love their place and have put a. lot of effort into making sure you love it as well!

Cottage is clean, comfortable and welcoming. Has everything you need for either a snow trip (we skied at a nearby wonderful Homewood and went sledding at Gralinbaken , which is super close) or water sports (lots of water gear!). Appreciated the detailed binder, had no problem using a gas stove, a fireplace and an electric fence :)
Thank you so much, hosts! Would love to come back!

The cabin was super cute, very cozy, beds were comfy, loved that there was a washer n dryer. Just a 4 minute walk to the lake!

The location of this cabin is great. We had a fantastic time. The bear system is definitely a good idea. We saw a massive black bear on our first morning in front of the house.
Additionally, everything we could need for cooking was at the house; everything was well cared for and very clean.
Thank you so much, we had a great time.

We just adored this lovely cabin! The location and access to the private beach was such a treat. It’s an easy and pretty walk down to the shore and you can reserve tables if you choose. The kids loved the playground and beach. We enjoyed using their kayak as well and so nice to have easy access to the shore. The cabin was perfect and decorated nicely. Although it is cozy, it really had everything we needed and nothing extra to cramp the space. We enjoyed hanging in the front yard and dinners in the backyard under the party lights. Beds were very comfortable with nice sheets. Also the access to all the recreational items in the garage was a bonus as well. Just a perfect place all around. We can’t wait to come back!

The home was as charming as can be! Ideal location and Pasha was delightfully responsive. Looking forward to returning again in the future!

Fantastic time/ ideal and better than expected. My only semi comment is it isnt quite clear how close you are to the major road and its a teency bit farther than we thought to the lake. But this is an incredibly minor critique. Its still great and amazing

We hope to stay here again.

This is a tiny cabin (weather was good so we used the backyard/picnic table as an extension of the house) but packs a mighty good value with its private beach membership, use of kayak/sup, and bikes. Clean and extremely well stocked and owner checked in to make sure everything was ok. A summer downside is that the road noise from hwy 89 starts around 6:30 am and is very loud with windows open when you are trying to sleep. It didn’t bother the rest of my family, but I am a light sleeper and it did bother me. Also, due to bear activity the downstairs windows are to be closed at night; this makes the downstairs room a bit warm to sleep in. Luckily we had very pleasant weather during our stay. Tahoe is beautiful! Thank you for opening your home to us!

This is our 3rd stay at this cottage. Each time we have had 4 adults and it is cozy. Rooms are on the small size (except for master bedroom), but location, amenities and the host/hostess keep us coming back. We appreciated all the new upgrades the owners have made on the cottage since our last visit, new paint on exterior, new windows and shades throughout, fan in master bedroom, new doors and keyless locks. On our summer visits we are outside most of the day. We love to hang out on the front porch for coffee in the morning, then hang out at the private beach and kayak (provided by host), or ride bikes (provided by host), The backyard is quite large and we enjoy using the BBQ and visiting with family or friends. Cute twinkle lights throughout the yard give a magical feel. Oh, and we can bring our dog too. Location is close to private park, private beach, good restaurants, general store and bike path. We'll be back soon Tahoe!
Thank you Jay & Pasha!

Cozy Cottage
We had a great time and the location was perfect. The yard was very nice and the lake was walking distance. The beach park at the lake was very very nice and the few restaurants and deli were awesome. Fire Sign cafe was really good. We loved the place and was nice and cozy and the family had a great experience.

This cabin is sweet, but very small. We fit ok, but if you are a large person we wouldn't recommend. Remember in the 30's the people were much smaller! It worked fine though & we love the vintage Tahoe decor. Bedding needs to be updated. So nice of the owners to allow our kitty & she loved it! Thanks much!

Centrally Located
The property was in a great location. It had charm but was very dated and had visible construction going on the windows and was generally unkept on the outside. The pictures online do not reflect the true condition of the property. The place in general was dirty and very messy.
I read great reviews that said the property served its purpose, which it did for us as well, but I suggest that the owners at least have the heat on when guests arrive and tidy up the property and maybe deep clean the kitchen and replace the linens completely. Also, the cleaning crew showed up at 8 am and asked to clean the property. Check out is 10 am. Overall not happy with the property.

Great place, super location
Charming cabin just as advertised. Location is great, right by the lake, walk to market, not too far from skiing.

We had a wonderful stay at this Sunnyside ski cabin. The location was incredible with a 2 minute stroll to the beach and 5 min walk to Sunnyside. The owner, Pascha , was so responsive and kind. Would definitely recommend for a small family and was perfect for our dog. Would love to stay there in the summer and would definitely book this property again.

Second time and more to come!
This was our second time at the house. It’s perfect for our family of three and is close to everything Tahoe has to offer. We’ll definitely keep coming back as long as the hosts will let us!
Also, they are super responsive if you need any help or have questions.

A True Tahoe Classic!
We’ve stayed in the Tahoe Park area for the past 30 years, summer, Fall and winter. It’s the best neighborhood in Tahoe! We’ve walked or driven by this cabin so many times and have always said “let’s rent this place next time!” Well, we finally did and we are so glad. It’s a true Tahoe classic cabin. Very nicely decorated, well equipped and really nice. No, it’s not a huge palace, but it is cozy, comfortable and really nice. Walk to Tahoe Park beach (even in the winter it’s awesome!), Walk to Sunnyside for cocktails and fried zucchini, so close to everything Tahoe. Great place, owners are responsive. Great experience. Highly recommended.
