The price change

none

The price was advertised at $79 and I was charged at $159.99. Booking.com tells me that was for the municipal fee and cleaning fee??? I could have stayed at the nice hotel nearby for that price.. Not very impressed with the hidden fees. oh and on the advertisement, it was saying that I could choose the 'flexible check-in time' but that was not the case either!!!

Appartement spacieux, accueil sécurisé, mais dormir juste une nuit. grande cuisine bien équipée

ne convient pas pour 8 personnes. impossible de dormir dans le canapé lit, pas confortable. on s’enfonce dès qu’on s’assoie. 6 chaises pour location qui permet 8 personnes. dans les placards (ouvert) il y avait un tas de linge sales des précédents locataires. chauffage centralisé très chaud. ménage limite, taches d’alcool sous le canapé. interrupteur salle de bain très dangereux, étincelle. baignoire, tapis de douche et rideaux sales.

Good location and oké value for money

De locatie ligt op wandelafstand van de meeste highlights. Appartement zelf is groot en bezit veel ruimte. Twee mobiele airco’s om temperatuur te beheersen, grote tv met xbox, geen geluidsoverlast van verkeer en verschillende restaurants om de hoek.

Accommodatie kan enige onderhoud gebruiken, verwarming in de warme dagen uit te zetten, maar de prijs kwaliteit verhouding is in onze ogen in balans voor 85CAD per nacht.

Overall good property for the price, minor additions to the supply of amenities would be appreciated

My guests and I liked the layout of the apartment and the rooms. The location was close our event venue and to downtown, with a bus stop minutes away. The apartment smelt wonderful as it had just been cleaned. Soap and shampoo were available, which was wonderful, dishes were all cleaned, with dish soap available. The owner was quick to reply, which was appreciated for any issues that arose.

However, there was no extra, paper towel and other cleaning amenities. We also had no sugar, coffee, cream or other quick breakfast or condiments, we needed to buy everything, it would have been nice to have those available to us. We learned that the area was not the safest over time and repeatedly had random people stand outside our door and stop in front of it mysteriously as we were coming inside and outside the apartment. We do wish that the direct door into the apartment had a lock for extra security..

Don't stay here look elsewhere

The place was clean

The area was sketchy didn't feel safe at all . The stairway was dirty entrance not good table ect we're old told the parking was near and it was not did not feel comfortable leaving truck would really not recommend this place unless you were homeless you would be grateful

Overal the accomodation is OK to stay for one or two nights. The size is good and the kitchen has lots of facilities.

Given the accomodation is advertised in booking.com, the check in procedure and rules are very similar to Airbnb. Finding the parking location was a bit of challenge and it is very far to the apartment. It's important to note that the apartment's proximity to a bustling street results in noticeable street noise during the night. A few of the beds proved to be quite uncomfortable, and the overall cleanliness of the place left something to be desired. One of the pillows had a noticeable stain on it.

Needs improvements and good cleaning

Location near train station, supermarkets, restaurants and town centre. Good wifi.

Fittings not finished eg floor and entrance, whole place not cleaned properly eg dirty fridge and popcorn under the settee. Paint and rags left in the closet. Car parking space 5 mins walk away.

Would recommend for a group and would stay again.

The property was clean and spacious, it was a very nice space to make home. We liked that it had a full kitchen and full sized fridge. I liked the Tim Hortons that was a couple doors down and the ease of check in and check out. We liked that the location was on an easy bus route to downtown.

We did not like that the parking lot was a 5 min walk down the road. The road was busy and road parking was full when we arrived so we ended up hauling our luggage down the road at midnight. The location was nice because of its proximity to parliament hill and other attractions but the location also has its downfall in that it is on a main road upstairs of a storefront as opposed to being in a suburb or in a hotel area. Bedrooms were hot and humid, a ceiling fan would be really nice in the bedrooms.

The area is in old downtown, almost closed to homeless areas. Door lock upstairs was broken (we called, We tried to be Mcgyver-failed ).Sirens continuously running in front of the building. Not getting enough sleep to make sure we’re safe. Also the weather is hot, portable AC was not in bedrooms and not cooling good. Wish there’s electric fans. we got disposable plates as fans. We had a long drive and expecting to have a restful night but turn out to be horrible night. Parking is also hard. Can’t find a parking area so we gambled parking in front of the building praying that we won’t get a ticket coz it’s in downtown area. Anyway, we enjoyed the rest of our vacation in Canada except this one.

Very poor

The reviews are very deceiving. The apartment was in bad shape. The place was dirty and the rooms were filled with bad smells. The couches have shoes footsteps on them. The floors were basically all dirty, even the parquet. The beds were not comfortable, and the middle of the mattress was sinking into the bed frame. The bedroom wardrobe closets were filled with cleaning supplies from the landlord and we didn’t have a place to store our clothes. They charged a 50$ cleaning fee however the house was not clean! very bad experience and I do not recommend it.

Apartment generally in good clean conditions except the stove.

reception staff polite and helpful

Toilet light not working on arrival. A lamp from bedroom was installed with extension cord by staff hours later. Kitchen stove not cleaned and filled the apartment with smelling smoke when we tried to boil water.

Superb

We really enjoyed staying here. The apartment was spacious, clean and relaxing after a long day walking around Ottawa. We were able to make a homemade meal in the evening and later watch a film on Netflix. Everything worked perfectly.

Very good

Although it was a bit stressful at first, due to have to send a picture of my credit card and ID and not get a response. Once there, the door code did not work, but it was quick to text the owner and get the right code.

The method of paiement was improve and it did make the process easier. Before, sending a picture of id and credit card was too stressful. Way easier now via online paiement.
