Visiting Washington for a wedding. We loved the location of the house-every morning I took a long walk through the park and surrounding neighborhood. Getting to the downtown area was quick also. We spent a lot of time on the front porch. The house was clean and felt like home. The only thing I would add would be a few more items for cooking meals-utensils were a bit sparse. Great property!

It was winter but this house was warm.
Across the street from Manito, must be fantastic in warmer seasons. Quiet safe neighborhood. No washer/dryer, can use machines in the house next door if it’s unrented.

I traveled with my elderly parents to visit family in Spokane and stayed at this lovely home. If you are looking for a South Hill location with immediate access to Manito Park, this home is perfect! We loved it. The house in very comfortable. We especially enjoyed sitting on the charming front porch. The owners are great and have thought of everything to make their home a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We are already planning our return trip!

We had a wonderful experience and already have another visit booked! Dianna is a thoughtful hostess who accommodated our needs and made us feel at home. The star of the home is the front porch with the park view. We spent most of our time sitting, talking and people watching.

This very cute house is in a great neighborhood, right across from the south edge of Manito Park. I really enjoyed exploring the park and surrounding neighborhood.
My only quibble is that the stovetop was not working during my stay. The homeowner provided a hot plate and a grill, but the hot plate was extremely slow to heat water. I had never planned to do any cooking, so this was easy for me to work around. if you’re staying in the near future and cooking is important, then I suggest asking the homeowners about the status of the cooktop first.
Everything else was wonderful! The house was extremely clean, entry Instructions were easy, and the homeowners were very responsive to my questions.

This super nice bungalow across from Manito Park was a great place for my husband and I to stay while we visited friends in Spokane and took day trips to Idaho lake areas as well as walking through the park to enjoy the flowers. Great location, had everything we needed and super close to downtown with many great local eateries nearby, especially Rocket Market. The neighborhood is awesome, we really enjoyed viewing the houses & landscaping. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Our favorite "room" of the house was the large front porch. We found the outdoor furniture to be more comfortable that the seating in the house, so that was were we enjoyed our coffee in the mornings.

The home and the location were perfect. The view to the park was relaxing, whether from the front porch or the large indoor living room window. I highly recommend this home. The property owner was great, too.

Very comfortable house in the most beautiful location. Very safe. Off-street parking. Walk the lovely residential neighborhood & enjoy the parks & gardens. Some nearby restaurants that are quite good, and not nearly as crowded as downtown or Kendall Yards. We especially enjoyed Manito Tap House, RUT bar & kitchen, Republic Pi, Summit Kitchen and Gordy’s Sichuan Cafe. Several grocery stores close by. Downtown & Gonzaga University are a short drive.
Bedrooms: Beds are comfortable. Both bedrooms have mirrors, but no accessible electric outlets near the mirrors. Good window coverings that are easy to operate for sleeping in after the sun rises. Plenty of room for stowing your clothing in drawers or on hangers.
Bathroom: basic tub/shower combo with GREAT water pressure & plenty of hot water.
No locks on doors.
Living room/dining room: spacious and comfortable. Great view of the park across the street from the covered, furnished front porch.
Kitchen: basics are mostly covered. Not very well stocked for cooking/preparing meals. Fine for simple meals or serving takeout.
The house is so charming, but is old - and has a distinctive musty smell (but I do appreciate that the host doesn’t make it worse with fragrance plug-ins!). It could have been cleaner. It was surface-clean, but dusty. If you have environmental allergies, this home might be a challenge for you. Decent WiFi. I would absolutely stay here again - it was a very nice spot!

Darling little house - perfect for me and my brother to enjoy a birthday weekend in Spokane. Just a short trip down the hill and we were downtown each night. Jack and Jill bath does not have locks on doors, so we just turned the fan on so the other would know it was occupied.

A lovely home away from home. Airy and elegant, full of thoughtful touches. Everything you need is right here. We actually cancelled some sight seeing to stay at home and enjoy the house more. Dianna is a wonderful host!

Absolutely perfect in every way! Lovely south hill bungalow ~~ charming, cozy, welcoming, and beautifully appointed! Perfect location ~ minutes from shopping, downtown & the freeway but buffered within the beauty of south hill’s delightful neighborhoods with its coffee shops & bakeries ~~ plus the amazing Manito Park across the street, 90 acres of trails, gardens, pond & playgrounds! Checking in and out was easy & seamless! We had a couple questions & our hostess was immediately responsive! We would stay here again & again!

House is a charming home in the Manito Park area of Spokane. Neighboorhood is quiet and the park is directly across from the house with lots of space to walk/play. Only drawback for this stay was that communication with the owner was lacking as compared to other VRBO stays I've experienced.

I'm an avid gardener and I knew I was close to the park but it was such a treat to be close to the rose garden, conservatory, and Japanese garden as well. The house has great ambiance and everything was very clean.

We spent a lot of time on the wonderful front porch overlooking Manito Park. Easy access by car to downtown, Trader Joe's and restaurants. Comfortably furnished, not too much, not too sparse. Especially enjoyed the live plants throughout the home. We would stay here again and again!
