The place is amazing, we spend there our anniversary and was one of the best experiences we had on our lives, the place is wonderful by itself ñ, the staff is very helpful, the views are awesome and we will always remember this trip. Thanks for everything.

The property was fantastic, the pool, the views, the gorgeous rooms but what made the property the best we’ve ever stayed at, was the staff. The way each staff member took time to get to know us personally, help us to plan our stay and think of every little detail (eg providing a breakfast box for us at 2am before our mountain climb) was second to none! We didn’t want to leave

The view
Everything the food the service...I just want to share my experience as I had the worst day of my trip at this resort. I stayed there for 1 night at Villa number 805. I got woken up by the heat at 3 AM I found the AC was off and no electricity untill 7:30 kept calling the the front desk either busy or no answer eventually they sent someone to fix the issue however it wasnt fixed as it kept turing on and off till I left the resort multiple people were sent to the room to look for short circuits? They kept interrupting us horrible experience, however the view was nice. Other than that, nothing was good coming from this place. Side note there was a bug stuck on the phone wire photo attached

The place was amazing, the view was awesome, the pools were great, the staff were friendly and very welcoming and helpful.
humidity in the room caused a weird smell, and there was spider webs almost everywhere. Moreover, with the amount of money that you pay to stay in such place they should at-least provide more activities for the guests.

Impressive looking resort set into the hillside. Sensational presentation with tiered pools. Young and genuinely enthusiastic and courteous staff. Well presented meals and broad menu.
Not close to Ubud and far from grand entrance to resort via narrow back road. Restricted mobility options given location meant you were locked into using local drivers engaged by resort.

The resort and 3 tiers of pools were incredible. Great scenery, Located in Ubud for easy sightseeing. Good food as well.
Nothing.

We had high expectations for Kayon Jungle Resort and it didn't disappoint. Our villa was stunning with private entrance & pool. Breakfast, happy hour options, spa and views from the main pool were all beautiful. But most of all the people and service were outstanding - special shout out to Louis and Devi who looked after us during our stay, you were both so wonderful and always smiling. The floating breakfast in our pool was a highlight! Yoga each morning was also a lot of fun.
Nothing - everything was lovely.

We could not recommend Kayon Jungle resort anymore if we tried. The perfect place for our honeymoon. The staff were all so lovely and it was honestly the best service we have ever had at a resort.
Thank specially to Marta & Tony for their exceptional service daily at breakfast.

The property itself was lovely. Beautiful view, luxurious room with little added extras like bubble bath & bath salts, complimentary fruit and water restocked more than once per day. My favourite part was the spa, one of the best massages I’ve ever had, however very pricey, but worth it to experience the relaxing atmosphere of the spa. If it weren’t so pricey I would’ve had multiple instead of just one. Nice to take pictures of.
For such an expensive ‘5 star’ hotel, their food & drinks were well below this standard. Very average at best. It was really disappointing as it doesn’t live up to the luxurious feel that the rest of the hotel provides. My partner and I also tried just about every cocktail on the menu, but would often not finish them entirely as they weren’t tasty, we were mainly drinking them as we didn’t want them to go to waste after paying for them, not because we enjoyed them. We stayed at 4 different hotels in our 3 weeks in Bali, the other three places were 3 & 4 star hotels and their food & cocktails exceeded Kayon’s by far. Actually, some of the warungs on the street were better. We tried 2 different types of tacos, fettuccini carbonara, chocolate cake, apple pie, banana split, tofu scramble, vegan burrito and more, so this isn’t based off just one or two meals. As mentioned above, the Spa was very expensive, starting at 600,000 IDR for a massage (as you’d probably expect from an expensive hotel). Location is far out of Ubud centre, but this didn’t bother us too much. The bed was creaky and a little uncomfortable. Staff were a little slow with serving and difficult to find at dinner to order more, so we just left it. The hotel’s atmosphere was nice to experience for one night and to take photos of, however, I personally don’t see the value in the amount of money you’re paying for your stay. Better to invest your money elsewhere. Glad I was able to check it out, but won’t be back unfortunately. 😔
