Great location with walkable restaurants and grocery store. The place was great.

This was a great "home base" for a family trip to DC! Very close to train/bus stops and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. Depending on weather and how much walking you're comfortable with, the capitol building and National Mall are also about 30 minutes away on foot. The house itself was nice and spacious for our group of 5.

This was 5 stars all around. Desiree was a kind responsive host. The property is flawless, has parking and right downtown DC. No complaints whatsoever. This is the place I will book whenever I return to DC.

We had a great stay at Desiree's home! The home was extremely clean and spacious for our family of four. Our children appreciated the snacks that were left for us to enjoy. The home is a perfect home base for sightseeing and is very close to two Metro lines. The onsite parking was a huge bonus for us. Desiree was super helpful and stayed in close contact with us during our stay. We would surely stay here again for our next visit to DC!

Great location with restaurants and easy access to highway and all the sights.

From check in to out, we enjoyed our stay. Property was situated within walking distance from the Metro so no need to drive which was a relief given the traffic in DC. Lots of restaurants closed by especially in Capitol hill. Property was clean and the welcome selection really appreciated. I would have liked thicker drapes in the bedrooms as the sun poured in early. If I was in DC again I would stay here again.

The place is great. Clean, spacious, close to the subway and bus stop.

Overall it was a good stay. The host was very present with responding to emails and text when questions asked. It was close to everything. The house had no curtains, that was a problem for us. The surrounding area had buildings around it that looked vacant. Parking is on the street, but there was an area in the back of the unit if host allow you to use it. Desiree was very nice. Be careful with answering the door always, men came ringing the doorbell and not aware if any water damage in unit. I did not let them in. Need a curtain at the front door also. People can look into the unit. My friends and i had a ball cause we love being around each other. This space was cozy enough for us to make more memories together. Thanks Desiree.

We just spent a week in this gorgeous townhouse and it was so nice. Spacious and clean and the welcome basket was fantastic for little snacks. The location is great -- about a block from the DC Metro station which gets you exactly where you need to be.
It's a wonderful townhouse and close to many restaurants. Desiree was also great in answering my questions and keeping in touch. I would love to stay here again!

Our group of 6 had a great stay. The house had plenty of room for everyone to spread out after a long day sightseeing. The house is close to the metro and restaurants and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We felt safe and comfortable. Desiree went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience.

Family of 6 stayed for five nights. Great location- steps from bus stop and a block from Metro. The house was great- clean, well furnished, it had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend a stay here if you are heading to DC.

My family of 6 stayed 5 nights at this property and have nothing but wonderful things to say about it! We had some issue getting in the first time, but that was more of a user error than anything else. The house is just gorgeous with the original claw tub with shower upstairs and an updated walk in shower downstairs. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a few dinners at home, including spices. The towels were plentiful and soft. Nice little backyard space for sitting out to enjoy the weather with gorgeous flowers blooming.
Desiree is extremely communicative and was easy tp reach when we had some trouble getting the door to lock automatically. There were some bank-related problems in getting the payment to go through but she was very patient and kind while we worked through it. I very much enjoyed chit chatting with her about the house and the area overall.
I don't know that I would go back to DC itself, but there is more exploring I would love to do in the area and would not hesitate to reach out to stay at her property again.

Beautiful updates to a historic home and close to the Metro. We had a great stay and management responded quickly. The master bed wasn’t very comfortable but overall everyone enjoyed it and would come back.

This was the perfect location for our family DC adventure. Easy access to the city and all of the sights, plenty of space to spread out for our three kids and fully loaded kitchen. Desiree was so helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. She was super helpful with all of the information we needed to enjoy our stay. The visitors guidebook she provided clearly explained everything from accessing the unit to checking out. She left nothing to wonder about!
The unit was clean, well decorated and comfy! It was the perfect place to come home to after long days of exploring everything DC has to offer!
Thank you!

The house was very clean and the beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is walkable and just a short Uber ride to all the sites (or Metro, if you choose). Check out La Lomita during your visit. Yum!

Stayed to attend a 4 day wedding event. The home was very clean and had everything you needed for a nice stay. Easy to Uber to Union Station for the wedding as well as the other events tied to the celebration. We will return for another stay - to see the sites in DC next time. Desiree was great. Very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend.

Everything very comfortable for our family of 4. The teens were a bit cramped in the bunk beds, but they managed. The master bedroom had a great closet and super comfy but firm mattress. The back bedroom was also comfortable. Small issues with broken hardware in the bathroom and bugs was addressed with host but did not hinder our stay. The couch was the only thing we found uncomfortable. After a long day of walking, we wanted to watch movies as a family and that was very hard to do as we all couldn't get comfortable. There are lots of great restaurants beteen the Hill and the townhouse, so we didn’t use the kitchen except for snacks and breakfast. It had everything we needed!

Great property very clean well appointed kitchen.
Comfortable beds. When we first arrived I had a quick question for Desiree she answered her phone immediately.
Great location close to the metro.
Lovely market at eastern market on the Saturday morning good vendors and the food hall was amazing.
We had our car with us so it was great to be able to park directly behind the house.
We would definitely return to this property

We stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed our time. The place was clean and had plenty of space for 5 people. It was super close to the metro and the off street parking spot was really nice to have.

This is a lovely property for anyone (but especially families) to stay at when in DC. Easy to get to the metro and great dining and shops in the neighborhood. The property is spacious and has everything you would need. Communication with the property manger is top notch. You will not regret this choice!

What a great place to stay if you're staying in D.C.! Not only is the house located in a great area of Capitol Hill SE, but it is also close to the Potomac Metro station and a new food/bar bistro collective called "The Roost." Venture a few blocks west to see the USMC's Commandant's house and the Barracks Row strip of restaurants and bars. A ten minute metro rail ride to anywhere close to the National Mall or even shorter Uber is all it takes to visit anything on your list.
The property itself is probably one of the best stocked of any place we've stayed recently. You won't need to buy extra laundry detergent, soaps, or paper towels -etc. - also a nice touch were the snacks left out for us to use.
Owner is extremely responsive and ready to help with any need. All in all a great week long stay for spring break with two adults, two grandparents, and two kids.

We were in DC for our nephews wedding. Our stay was fabulous. Great location for everything we wanted to do. Everyone was very comfortable. We had everything we needed to prepare meals. Thanks Desiree for your hospitality!

This is in a great location. We were 3ish blocks from the Potomac Metro station. Orange, Silver and Blue lines run through there so most everything we wanted to see was a straight shot. We felt very comfortable walking back and forth to and from the metro and never had any issues.
Home has a great kitchen. We had 2 teenagers so we Instacarted groceries in and they were able to grab and go all week. They also took over the bathroom in the first floor.
The girls were able to stay up late watching TV in the livingroom and even with our room being directly above the livingroom we never heard them.
The stairs are a little steep. We had my 78 year old mother in law with us and she did struggle with them. They were no issue for the rest of us though. Bedrooms are all spacious and beds were all very comfortable. All in all the home is beautiful.
We didn’t have a car, but there is a parking spot inside a locked fence in the back.
This is a great home at a great price and I will forever recommend it to friends and family heading to DC.

My family of five had a great time here. The beds were so comfortable and the location was perfect — it was so easy to access the Metro and we loved having a Trader Joe’s within walking distance. We prepared many meals here and had all the kitchen implements we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was everything we were looking for. It was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities for a home away from home with parking. For our family trip to DC we spent a lot of time sightseeing which made this property the perfect home base. We were less than a block from the bus, a block from the Metro and a little over a mile from the US Capitol. Would book this property again and recommend to friends.

We came to DC to cheer on our daughter at the Marine Corps Marathon. The house was perfect for us and our extended family! It was close to Eastern Market and Trader Joe's, and just blocks to the Metro so we could easily get around the city without getting stuck in car traffic. The house was clean, spacious and had room for everybody. We'll be back!

Great location near a subway stop and grocery store. Private parking in the back. Great communication with property manager Desiree. Highly recommend!
