My mother and I stayed here for 6 days. Mike, the property manager was there to greet us and went through everything and answered all of questions.
The flat has a beautiful view of the marina and the apartment building itself is quiet. It is conveniently located across the street from a grocery store and there are many restaurants close by so if you want to cook or eat out it's great either way.
We initially had a bit of trouble finding the bus stop and tube station but once we found it getting around was very easy. This being said, if you plan on traveling to Big Ben or the sites around that area, I highly recommend you take the Thames River Cruise. It will get you there much faster than the hop on hop off bus.
The weather was cooler than we expected so having laundry in the flat was great since we had to wash the few warm clothes that we had.
All in all it was a great stay and I would highly recommend this rental. Very comfortable.

Delightful in every way. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the boats, with Tower Bridge in the distance. Great location, excellent amenities, welcoming host. The well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook several meals. I highly recommend!
4.7
We loved the apartment at the St. Catherine’s Docks! Could see part of the Tower Bridge from the balcony! Public transportation nearby, so easy to get anywhere in the city! Mike was so helpful and informative. Very comfortable apartment that perfectly suited our needs. Having a washer in the apt was a great help. Highly recommend!

I was on a mother daughter trip to London. The location of the flat is perfect. It was very peaceful and walking distance to so much. Mike was great, he helped us out so much.
The size of the flat was fine for us. The size of the second bedroom is small but works. I should have been in better communication with Mike on a few things we needed while we stayed there. Hand soap(the stuff provided was thin), towels, and how to regulate the heat better. There was a smell coming from the washing machine closet, Mike is communicating this to the owner.
Overall, the location couldn't be beat and the view from the balcony was lovely.
4.7
This apartment was *nearly perfect. It was perfectly located, clean, and well kept. Mike, the property manager, was great to work with.
*Nearly: could use a clock in the common area; several lightbulbs were burnt out. Minor issues, easily fixed.
4.7
This was a great place and met our needs well. It was convenient to tube stations and food options. Area was quiet and felt safe. The flat is a little small, but my 18 year old son and I didn't feel cramped. We spent the majority of our time out exploring all of the wonders of London and just came back to crash.
4.7
Mike the property manager was incredibly helpful and responsive. Lovely location near Tower of London, grocery store right across the street, 10 minute walk to the Tower Hill Tube. The unit is perfect size for a couple or family with one child. Only minor drawbacks are the bed in the children's room is small, and no clothes dryer in the unit. Nonetheless we had a great time, location is fantastic and in a nice community.

Terrific VRBO booking in the center of London. 10 minutes from the tower of London and the nearest underground station in zone 1 - meaning you can get around the city for cheap at any time throughout the day. View over the docks is terrific with the spires of London bridge and the Spire in view. Across the street from plentiful food options and a supermarket (if you're burned out from eating out every day and want some fresh produce). The space is terrific with everything you could need. In house washer, boiler room for drying clothes, dishwasher, cutlery, and cooking utensils. Check in and out were a breeze. The host took the time to reach out to us personally to arrange for our arrival, and checked in multiple times to make sure everything was going well. Would highly recommend!

Perfect for 2 people

The flat is exactly as described. It overlooks the small docks, Tower Bridge, and the Shard. The kitchen is fully furnished with what you need to cook. The grocery store is about 50 steps away. There are other places to eat near by as well. You have quick access to many transportation options.
4.7
Great Location, wonderful view from living room. Close to the tube.
4.7
We absolutely loved staying here! It has beautiful views of Tower Bridge and the Shard, and is only a short walk to the tube station. The restaurants nearby are excellent (Honest Burgers was our favorite), and the atmosphere at St. Katherine’s Docks was just lovely. Mike was excellent with answering questions and giving us helpful information. The apartment is on the second floor, but a lift is available and very nice. It has one of the largest showers I’ve seen in Europe!
All the tourist attractions are a short tube ride away, and there is a supermarket right nearby. The longest ride we had was from the airport (to be expected).
The only thing to note is regarding accessibility. The Tower Hill tube station (the one nearest to the apartment) is not as disability friendly as other stations are. There are signs up that London is working on it, so that may change soon! The station is 0.5 miles from the apartment, and there are multiple ways to get to it - some involving steps and others a more straight path. There are nearby bus stations to avoid the tub station, and they do not have steps. Something to note, but definitely not a dealbreaker for this amazing place.
4.7
Clean, well run, excellent location close to Tower Hill underground. Numerous restaurants nearby. Very quiet area.
4.7
The location was perfect! We loved the patio for evening viewing with a nice glass of wine! Michael could not have been more communicative and we appreciated that. The second bedroom was very small and would not have been good for a third guest. However, we used it to store luggage and such. Worked out perfectly! There are some things i wrote Michael about and he assured me he would be taking care of them, I’m sure he will and everything will be fine!
All in all we thought the apartment and the location was great and we would return again
4.7
A very central- quiet location, could not have asked for a more comfortable, clean and safe apartment to call “home base” for 4 short days in the heart of London. Loved it all 😊
4.7
Location, location, location and beautiful surroundings. Nice and quiet, but you’re only steps away from all that London
Has to offer. Would definitely stay here again.
4.7
Had a great stay in the apartment. Conveniently located for central London and supermarkets and restaurants right on the doorstep.
The apartment was great but few things a little tired and need fixing such as door handles and shelves in fridge .
The bed in the second bedroom is not a proper single and quite short so my 15 year old found it uncomfortable would be fine for smaller children.
4.7
My friend and I met here for a ladies' getaway. The location is fantastic and the space was adequate, but there were a few quirks.
The second bedroom is really small. I don't think the bed is a standard size. It was comfortable, but really short. Would work for a child or small adult, but is a little cramped for anyone over 5' 8".
The owner has placed little notes all over the property with things that you can't do or things that you need to be careful of. A few of these things were just broken and needed to be fixed, e.g., the bathroom door knob, the bathroom sink faucet, and shelves in the refrigerator. Other things felt weird, like taped-up drawers marked with signs that said do not open.
Our favorite part was the gorgeous balcony! It was small but had plenty of space for us to have cocktails and snacks in the evenings. The view was divine.
A big plus is a Waitrose right outside the front door of the building. The tube is a 15-minute walk from the apartment all on a paved footpath. The Tower of London is also a 15-minute walk. The boat dock for a ride up the Thames is around the corner. We loved the Dickens Inn just across the Marina from the flat.
4.7
The property was as advertised, with a lovely view of the docks, Tower Bridge and the Shard. Stores and transport were close to the flat. Mike Lettings, the manager, was ey to work with. Had a great time!
4.7
The location of this property can't be beat. It was so easy to access the underground at Tower Hill and get all over London. There were some good restaurants in the Wharf and some great Indian spots a 10 minute walk away. We also appreciated being across the street from the Waitrose.
The space is small but well equipped and the balcony overlooking the wharf was wonderful in the evenings as the city lights came on. Michael and Anna were great to deal with and I would 100% recommend their properties in the future.
4.7
Overall it was a pleasure to stay here for our few days in London. The apartment was in a great position for exploring. A peaceful place (though on weekends some of the passing people outside are loud until late).
The place is a little cluttered and the second bedroom is rally just appropriate for a small child.
The property manager, Mike, was extremely helpful. The lock on the outside door was brought to his attention and I am sure it will be fixed soon (to prevent guests being locked out).
4.7
Close to all key area landmarks, food and drink.
4.7
Fabulous location - easy access from the tube to the flat. Be prepared if you have a lot of luggage as there are stairs that are unavoidable from the tube station. The flat has everything you need and Waitrose supermarket is directly across the street. My only suggestion would be to improve the lighting in the bathroom area as it’s difficult to see what you’re doing particularly if you’re doing makeup, etc. Otherwise, happy we stayed there.
4.7
From the beginning we three adult male family members were welcomed, advised of accommodation details, given clear instructions re access, responded to regarding our questions, and asked about any needs during our stay. Location is fabulous-close to the Tower; easy access to central London; safe; cafes/pubs/markets/churches/Thames all nearby. Price is comparably low; facilities met our needs and more. Without any qualification a great find!
4.7
You can't do much better. Very polite Manager in Mike.
4.7
Mike was an excellent host. The location is ideal. Very near an underground stop and walkable to a lot. We enjoyed our stay very much.
4.7
We loved the unit and location. It's right next to The Tower of London and the Tower bridge. The walk from the Tube station was an easy 5 minutes. The area was pretty quiet at night being a couple miles east of Westminster and all of that hustle and bustle. But only 7 short stops on the Tube making it perfect for taking in all of the tourist type activities without having to live day and night in it. At night the unit offers a beautiful view of the Shard and Tower Bridge. Mike handles all of the reservations and check in and out process. I cant say enough about him. One of the most amazing people I've meet renting properties around the world. He made our first visit to London go extremely smooth. One caution on the unit however is the lengh of the single bed in the second bedroom. Although very comfortable it is not long enough for anyone over 6 foot tall. But the couch in the living room works well for a bed and it very comfortable. Or at least that was the feedback from my 18 year old son. I would highly recommend this unit for a family or group of 3 who wants to be just on the edge of everything.
4.7
Nice cozy apartment with a great view on the St Kathrine Marina and the Tower Bridge.
The apartment had everything we needed to make our short stay comfortable and it is located in a great area, with plenty of restaurants and a short walk away from the tube station.
The only little drawback is that the beds are on the short side. Both my husband and my son are around 190 cm and we had to adapt and use the comfortable couch.
Nonetheless, we would stay there again if we happen to visit London and recommend it to anyone.
4.7
Wow what can I say , fantastic apartment, fantastic location, fantastic hosts .
Will I book again YES should you book it YES.
Location is lovely and very quiet perfect for relaxing evenings after a busy day sitting on the balcony on an evening with a glass of wine was fab even in late November. Within a 5 min walk to Tower Bridge and less than 10 mins to under and overground stations
Waterose across the road for all essentials.
Nothing we didn't like .
Big thanks to Mike for all the tips sorry I didn't get to meet you in person, the lady who met me at the apartment was super friendly sorry cant remember your name .
A fantastic holiday and will definitely return
Big thanks again

Mike and Nicole were fabulous and great communicators. Just had one or two times needing to reach out and we heard back immediately. Clean and pleasant flat in a quiet building. Convenient to South Bank walking along Thames. Taxis plentiful one block away. Great find.
4.7
This apartment is very small and very hot - all of the time. Many things were in need of repair. No toilet seat on a square toilet the entire time and apparently the guest before us said the same thing. It is very loud at night. You have to have the windows open for any kind of ventilation. The only thing it has going for it is the location.
4.7
We chose this spot because we thought it would be fun to stay at the marina, and we liked the fact this one had a balcony with a view. First, the view is amazing. And the kitchen/living room look out to the same great view. The marina is fun, with a number of nearby restaurants, grocery right across the street, and tower hill tube station a 10-15 min walk. The apartment is perfect for a couple. The main bedroom is very comfortable but the second bedroom is small. The apartment has interesting artwork, good lighting etc that feels like someone’s actual home; not a sterile rental unit. Only challenge we had was that the toilet seat had just broken and was ion order (custom size) so we lived a week without a toilet seat. Manager was incredibly apologetic and hopefully that will be fixed soon. Great place, would recommend. Also the driver that Mike, the property manager, can hook you up with for airport pickup and drop off was fantastic.
4.7
The view is what drew me to rent this flat. We received stellar hospitality during our stay. Mike is so helpful, really great at making suggestions and answering questions from the WhatsApp. The location was perfect, we walked everywhere, took the tube and a cab for the further stops.
The flat was clean. The beds were ample however well worn. Do note that this is someone’s personal home used as a rental part time. I would suggest that a A/C be added; the fans certainly helped but it was a little hotter than we prefer even with the windows open at night.
There’s a grocery store literally across the street with everything you could need. I would highly suggest eating at BrewPub.
Enjoy!

Outstanding location and support
Mike, the manager, was available, friendly and informative. The unit is in an amazing location and is great for 2-3 people (a little tight for 4, but doable). Would definitely stay again!

Nette kleine Wohnung in wirklich guter Lage. Sehr sauber, der Vermieter ist ausgesprochen freundlich und beantwortet jede Frage. Wir kommen sicher wieder.

Hidden gem in great location
We loved our stay at this flat. Mike is an extremely helpful property manager. When we arrived at the flat, he met us there, checked us in, and showed us around. He was in frequent touch to make sure we had what we needed. Communication was excellent and extremely helpful and friendly.
The flat is in a great location, right in St. Katherine's Docks, a surprisingly peaceful and pretty London neighborhood right next to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. It is a short walk from the Tower Hill tube station and Borough Market on the other side of the Thames. There is a grocery store literally right across the street (30 second walk).
The flat also has a terrific little balcony with a beautiful view over the marina, with Tower Bridge and the Shard (skyscraper) behind it. We loved sitting on the balcony with our morning tea or evening ale.
The flat itself is comfortable for a family of four with two bedrooms and a very comfortable sleeping sofa in the living room. We found the apartment to be a bit on the warm side, but if you open the windows and door to the deck, it cools off nicely in the evening.
We would definitely stay here again.

Drains wouldn’t drain, water backs up and sours in the dishwasher and regurgitates into sink when run. Main bedroom with exception of the bed, 50% was taped off as owners belonging were there. Door handles falling off, no toiletries - like no soap. Dish soap had been watered. Faucet as work poorly. Storage of cooking/dishes, bathroom shower need a ladder to get to them. No storage. No bathroom vent. Bathroom has window but stepladder needed. Towels musty. Picturesque location and very nice manager but not worth the aggravation. 2 bedroom apartment that you had 3/5ths access.

Very good location if you want to explore London from the East. Best suitable for family with one child. Marvellous view from the balcony towards Tower Bridge and The Shard, overlooking the boats in the dock. Well-equipped kitchen with everything you need. 7-minute walk to Tower Hill and Tower Gateway stations, stop for bus 100 to St Paul's even closer. Large supermarket on the other side of the street.
St Katherine Docks has a large number of restaurants (we especially liked Zizzi and Natural Kitchen), so it can get lively until late.
