No breakfast

No breakfast. Location was great, right in the centre of town near the shops and bars.
The bed was lovely and comfortable, we had a good nights sleep.
The hot water went down, but was rectified straight away.
There was no milk left for a drink , and the Twix bars, which would have been lovely, were 3 months out of date.

Nice old pub. Friendly owners.
No access to even drop bags.
Very noisey - fights outside window!

Location
Room was a bit run down & smelly

Central position
Plenty of parking nearby
Not knowing Wednesday was market day and I made an error overnight parking in the Square yet the ticket machine had given me until 9:18 that morning. The signage needs taking up with the council for more clarity for strangers to Knaresbrough like myself.I was given a fine and my car was” keyed” along the passenger side.
3.5
Reasonably comfortable room and clean
Right at the top of a lot of stairs and nowhere to park close by.

The standard of the room was very poor and the bathroom was not good at all

Location, dog friendly, room very clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly
Room was on 2nd floor, so bags to carry up two flights of stairs

Nice big bed, large room
The room was very warm, inspite of window being open. The bathroom was a bit tired and needed grout cleaning and bath panel replacing
4.5
Excellent location right in the town centre. Good size room & bathroom excellent WiFi.( for planning g walks maps etc) helpful staff
Nothing really to dislike

It was a lovely room with good facilities. They didn’t scrimp with teas and coffees. It was clean and comfy. Staff were so helpful and friendly. I would defo recommend or go back if I needed to stay in area again. My parents ended up meeting us in the bar in the evening and the food was excellent. Tasty and good value.
I was worried in the middle of town it would be noisy but it wasn’t. The windows were double glazed. There was an entrance if you didn’t want to do through the bar. Check in and check out was easy.
I would have liked parking but there was cheap parking near by. But really can’t fault it

We stayed one night excellent location, facilities and staff very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was amazing the chef does a excellent job. All staff work as a team and it shows.
The only couple of things I'd say is room 4 could do with a an update especially bathroom. And the bed was too firm for me.

The bed was very comfortable
There was a damp smell when you got into the room, the main light on the ceiling flickered all night, the light above the dressing table didn't work, and there was damp in the bathroom, i don't think the room was worth £75 but all in all we enjoyed it!!

Central, clean, comfortable beds
Tv needs fixing, not working. We were only staying a night so didn't bother to report room no 1.
3.5
Great Location central to Knaresbrough and a short walk from Long stay Car Park. Dog friendly and separate access from the pub so no need to walk through to room!
TV/Facilities a little Dated though not problematic! Mattress Quality was not great, stiff back in the morning. If mattress was firmer the stay would have been perfect!

Location was excellent, price was fair, staff very friendly, food was good.
Mould on bathroom grout , taps wobbly need fixing. When stripping the bed before departure we noticed the quilt was stained. Room was basic but adequate and was reflected in price.

location
We had more than thirty flies in the room, we had no idea where they where coming from, we stayed in room 2 when we went back to report in the morning there was no staff about. There was a smell in the hallway and it was messy.
4.5
pleasant and friendly staff very helpful
nothing apart from the pub shut early but I understand why 🥃😢😂

Easy to find room clean choice of bath or shower tea/ coffee/ biscuits in room
3.0
The Sheets and Towels were nice and clean, the bed comfortable and ample coffees, drinks and biscuits were nice extra. The room was a reasonable size. Effort had been made to provide what we needed.
There was thick dust around the room and the corners of the bath /shower were dirty. The room was not serviced which for the price with no breakfast included , we expected. Noisy coolers and fans going on off all night. No information in the room re- parking, checking in and out, where we could get meals ect. The oversized bedside lamps mean we could not put a cup on them. The TV has restricted channels. No hooks or shelf in the bathroom.
