We enjoyed the visit and the view from the sitting area on the third floor was amazing.

Breakfast was fine, good bread and good coffee. The beds were comfy and we slept well.

Die immer wieder anderen Blicke aus den Fenstern in die Natur. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge.

Ich habe es mir wilder vorgestellt. Der moderne Block mitten in der Landschaft hat mich zuerst abgeschreckt. Ist aber im Inneren sehr sympathisch. Mitarbeitende sind, mit ein paar tollen Ausnahmen, eher unpersönlich. Aber trotzdem alles in allem sehr schöner Aufenthalt

We had one night at Landhotel and it was comfortable, clean and safe. We also saw the northern lights from our window!

Great location close to south coast and Golden Circle. New and clean. Decent breakfast.

A lovely hotel in a great location with friendly, helpful staff. We’d definitely return.

A lovely place to stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms are clean and it’s a great base to explore the golden circle. The food and drink served was very good.

The restaurant was a little tired and had a cafeteria feel but the food quality was very nice. Breakfast was good but food was sometimes cold. Drinks were more expensive than most of the other hotels we stayed at in Iceland, even in more remote places but only very slightly.

Lovely hotel in the middle of nowhere, in nature, and overall very good quality. Higher-end experience at a good price.

We went during the off season, so the spa wasn't in full swing yet.

Beautiful and secluded, staff is super nice and we’re very nice to assist. the views are amazing, there isn’t much around but we stayed for exactly that. sauna was available as well. Probably the most gorgeous place I’ve stayed

In the bedroom you can hear the people in the bedroom next door talking, which should not to be expected in such a new/recent hotel. It did not bother us, as the "neighbours" went to bed early, but it might be a problem if they don´t and/or have the TV on until late.

other 4 star hotels are much better value

The staff where very pleasant and joined in with our support for England in the Football World Cup....but did not bring us any luck!

Prior to our visit to the Land Hotel we had stayed, for a similar cost, at Canopy Hilton Reykjavik & Hotel Geysir; these other hotels, also 4 Star, had more of a contemporary feel about them and provided in room coffee machine, dedicated reception staff & 24hr on site staff presence, the Land Hotel did not have this; we enjoyed our stay at the Land Hotel, but value for money was not quite there compared to the hotels before it.

Nice facility and friendly hotel staff.

Very friendly hotel staff. The reception was extraordinary. Wake up call for northern lights. The hotel location is a little remote and surrounding just vast land. This is the best for Aurora watching with surrounding area in total darkness. It is a very plus point in my opinion. If you are self driving, it is not a problem for this remoteness.
