About this apartment rental
Recently renovated by award winning A2 Architects, my 2nd floor, open plan studio apartment offers the perfect location to stay in Dublin. Situated right beside the symbol of Dublin, the Ha’penny Bridge, you are in the beating heart of the city.
Everything is within walking distance, with Temple Bar and Trinity College for example just across the bridge and most other major sights a few minutes away . The airport bus is only 100 metres away, not to mention all the bars and restaurants just outside the door. Experiencing the true essence of Dublin couldn’t be any easier.
Previously a 66-metres (710 sq ft) two-bedroom apartment, it was renovated to an open plan, creating a large space that allows full access to natural light. From the window overlooking the river Liffey, you get a great view of the sunset and the feeling of the city passing you by. It’s deceptively easy to just sit at the window and watch as people cross the Ha’penny bridge. I have Wi-fi, a great bathroom and fully functioning kitchen.
Dublin is a conveniently compact city and my apartment is nestled right in the centre of it all, allowing for a hassle free, thoroughly enjoyable place to experience it to the full. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Location cannot be better. You are overlooking the River Liffey and directly above the beautiful Ha'penny Bridge. Cross the bridge and you are in Temple Bar with its numerous bars, restaurants, vintage clothes shops, Project Arts Centre, Gallery of Photography, Irish Film Institute and many other attractions.
Dublin two main pedestrian shopping streets, Grafton and Henry St are about 5 minutes away.
Trinity College with its famous Library is 3 minutes walk.
The Aircoach or Dublin Express bus from the airport drops you 2 minutes walk away. The LUAS tram stops in Jervis St 2 minutes away but the apartment is so central you probably won't be using public transport at all.
I personally wouldn't recommend car hire as a lot of the streets are one way and it can be tricky to drive around if you are not familiar with the city.
NOTES:
The sofa bed showing in the pictures has been changed. New sofa (length as bed 181 x 111cm) suitable for one adult or two children.
For arrival after 7pm please enquire about booking (supplement might apply)

We loved the flat! Huge, handy for sightseeing, and lots of amenities.
If you're looking for fun and activities, this is the place. Right across from the Temple Bar district, you can see the Ha'Penny Bridge out the window.
The only minor issue we had was the step-up to the bathroom. My wife has mobility issues, and we had to figure that one out. It wouldn't be an issue for anyone else.
As is usual in the UK, there is no air conditioning, which means the windows have to be open in the summer. The streets are pretty lively until midnight or so. If you go to bed early, that could be an issue, but again, for most folks, this isn't a problem.
Overall, this is a great place to stay. There are taxis right outside the door, as well as city buses. We did three days of sightseeing, and it was the best location possible. The host was great and easily accessible.
Highly recommended.

This is a totally honest review as there were many pluses but some minuses about our stay. Biggest + is the location. You could not B better located in Dublin. Saved us 3 dys car rental as we were walking distance to everything. Large spacious flat with separate washer/dryer that worked fantastic. Entrances all required keyed doors so we never did not feel safe. Shower had hot water for 3 adults as long as you remembered to hit the boost first. Some basics provided like shower and laundry items.
A few items worth mentioning though -The flat is very white and showing its age with chips and doors and drawers that no longer hang straight. Theres handprints visible everywhere due to the amount of white and needs cleaned. The bathroom shower was sparkling, but the floor and door need some attention. The bathroom has 2 small windows & only the bottom half are frosted. Everything from the chest up is visible to ppl on the street unless you bend down. The bed is not a king, its maybe a queen? Some dishes and silverware we pulled from the cabinets were dirty. :(
Checkin was rough. We had to agree to an exact time to meet someone bicycling from across town. We were driving from 3 hrs away with stops in between. We were standing on the busy street with all our luggage and asked for $ multiple times while we waited about 45 min. She was very nice, but its hard to be pressed to an exact time while on vacation. Checkin should be a window as advertised.
Given everything, would stay again.

Great apartment as is shown in photos. Easy in out access. The location is facing the River Liffey, absolutely charming.

My husband and I stayed in Dardo’s apartment for 6 nights and LOVED it. This was my second stay there as the first stay was so perfect. Dardo and Iris were wonderful to communicate with and check in and check out were very smooth. The area is centrally located but not too crazy with great views of Ha’penny bridge. Everything was walkable and the apartment was immaculate. We are already looking forward to coming back some day!

Great communication from host, gave us local information. Close to everything and apartment had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The place is in the middle of Dublin making it a very easy walk to its nightlife. Also close to multiple bus stops and also bus stops to the airport. It was a very spacious and comfortable apartment overlooking the river and Ha'penny Bridge and we enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location. Very clean, well-stocked. Would be better if host didn’t have to deliver keys. Our flight was early and we were stranded on the cold street. Main bed is too low for old folks. Needed more towels, coffee, and sugar for 3 adults staying 11 days. Place needs rugs. Bare floor was cold. Despite all these minor issues . . . We loved Dublin.

Cute loft style apartment with all needed amenities. Pretty view of the river and Ha’penny Bridge, amazing downtown location. A bit noisy but to be expected being located downtown. Neat and tidy. Communication with host was excellent. We would definitely stay again. Thank you

10/10! The Flat is big, clean, perfectly appointed, and in an amazing location! The bed is comfortable, and there is plenty of room in closets and shelving to move out of your suitcases. The bathroom is spacious with room for your toiletries. There is a blow dryer with the end to reduce air flow and a flat iron. There is a washer and dryer and iron and board. The host was very helpful as we planned our arrival.
It was unseasonably hot in Dublin - but the windows all open to bring in air- and heavy enough to keep out the noise.
The restaurants to the right out the main door are fantastic! The tourist spots are across the bridge right out the front door. The nicer shops and newer restaurants are across the bridge and up 5 or so blocks to the left. Chez Max is in the center of town and is one of the best meals we have ever had.
We hope to come back and would not want to stay anywhere else.

Excellent stay. Great location, walkable to every place we needed to be except the airport! With such a good location expect some street noise but we managed to sleep with all the windows open. Very clean. Responsive host. Thank you Dardo!

We loved this cute apartment right in the heart of it all in Dublin! We could walk everywhere! It got a bit noisy at night with the parties and in the morning with dropoffs at the local restaurants. But overall the location was fantastic!
And Dardo was very responsive - answered questions almost immediately. He was a great host!

Hosts were very professional and even helped with a guide around the city. Loved this place! Great view of the Ha’penny bridge from our window.
Does get little noisey at night but we liked the location!

Fantastic location on the first floor with a lift. Spacious studio with full kitchen although not a lot of utensils. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The downside of the apartment was the noise. It is on a busy street and near bars and restaurants. It did quieten at a reasonable hour and ear plugs for me certainly muffled the sound. My husband who is a heavy sleeper was fine.

Dardo's flat is wonderful. We spent two nights there and had an amazing time. The flat is centrally located which allows walking to many great pubs, restaurants, museums, galleries and shopping. The space is exactly as depicted in the pictures... bed is super comfortable...everything was great. Communications with Dardo was very timely. Highly recommended to anyone looking to spend some time in Dublin!!

This studio was perfect! The location was in the heart of everything we needed in Dublin. Short walk to everything!! The bed and pillows were the most comfortable that we slept on our entire trip in Ireland. Dardo was wonderful to communicate with and was so kind to accommodate our early arrival. Overall we loved our stay and if we go back to Dublin we would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay very much and were very pleased with the proximity to Temple Bar, Jameson and many restaurants. Dardo was friendly and responsive to my questions. We would stay here again when in Dublin!

Dardo makes everything easy, from getting access to his place to finding things in the neighborhood that'll be helpful during your stay. The space itself is both calming and energizing, beautifully and smartly designed. The neighborhood is bustling at night and quiet later—perfect for a transatlantic traveler adjusting to local time. Incredibly clean, right on the river, close to everything. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Dardo’s apartment was the perfect home base for our three-day stay in Dublin. Communication was easy and responsive, and we were able to drop off our luggage before check-in. The location was perfect, and everything you could want to see was within walking distance or a short bus/tram ride. It can be noisy until around midnight based on the location (near plenty of pubs and live music across the river), but it added to the ambiance!

Smartly decorated spacious apartment overlooking river.

Nice place for a couple. I’d class it as industrial chic, open floor plan. The place is right on the river, very close to Ha’penny Bridge and right across the River Liffey is the Temple Bar area. The location is great for quick food. Plus it is central to easily get to all the transportation hubs.

Perfect spot in Dublin!
We absolutely LOVED our stay at Dardo’s apartment in Dublin. Dardo was easily accessible and friendly. He gave us great recommendations and let us drop our bags off early after a long flight. The apartment was right across from the Ha’penny bridge and everything was easily within walking distance. Dublin bars finally have live music again and we felt safe walking back to the apartment at night. The noises from the street were joyous! The bus stops and train station were an easy walk away and Howth was magical day trip. We would definitely recommend Dardo’s apartment and hope to return one day.

My wife and me spent a great long weekend here in February. Dardo makes the whole booking and check-in process very easy with great communication and many good tips. The accommodation is large and mainly open plan. There’s satellite TV and very fast broadband. The location is just as described, with fantastic views over Ha’penny Bridge and the River Liffey. Many bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance and there’s lots to explore on foot during the day. Try “The Bakehouse” just a few doors away for a great breakfast selection; you won’t be disappointed. The apartment is high above the streets below but it’s still quite noisy at night. It didn’t bother us at all and it’s something you should expect in a city centre. We’d certainly contact Dardo again when next visiting Dublin.

A grand view of the Liffey
Great location, great view, responsive landlord, well maintained and equipped. It did not bother us but, it can be a noisy neighborhood late at night. We would go back in a heart beat.

Reserved this Dublin location for our first three nights in Dublin. Dardo was flexible for our check-in when we were delayed at the airport. Dardo meet us and escorted us right to the apartment. The apartment is centrally located with an excellent view of the river Liffey and Ha’penny Bridge. This will be are first choice of places to stay when we return to Dublin.
