Really great views from the balcony. Lovely decor, very clean, bright and spacious. The big kitchen and table was a great spot to sit round, play family games and find the fun again after a tough year. Close enough to the coast for a scenic drive to Westward Ho! and Appledore for cream teas and crazy golf. Surrounded by an almost magical forest we relaxed, recharged and belly laughed. The pool was fun too. Would love to return.
There wasn't anything not to like about the booking, property or holiday. We did find lots of 'road closed' signs on the way down and google maps were useless. We'd brought 2 cars and unfortunately my son lost his exhaust and needed his car recovered from a very small, bumpy lane. From a 'glass half full' perspective we did discover the locals in the area were very kind and helpful in rescuing us and the luggage !

The lodge was very well equiped with averything that anyone could need.
It was well maintained, cosy and comfortable.
The veiws from the lounge were spectacular when the rain stopped
Dealing with the hosts was very easy and all questions were answered quickly before our visit, they went above and beyond to help in any way
We were travelling with our Grandson and although there was a dog bed for visiting dogs, access to a travel cot for children would have been useful

Home was really comfortable, well equipped, view was amazing, dog was allowed upstairs, he really enjoyed looking at the views as did we all. There was 2 tvs so while the kids watched their programme s us adults could watch what we liked. Chilling with a glass of alcohol while watching the stars was my favourite. 2 bathrooms was also handy especially the walk in showers as my mother's disabled this was really handy.
The communal bins was a little to far from the villas if you don't have a car this could be a problem. Some of the country lanes had large pot holes in them but the lanes going into the complex itself didn't have any.

Amazing location, peaceful setting. Lovely decoration and clean and tidy inside. Well equipped kitchen with lots of helpful things like pizza cutter, scissors, whisk etc. A bonus was the number of board games, DVD's and ps3 games - meant we had lots of family game time!
We were charged an additional £25 for not stripping the beds when we left. We followed the departure instructions in the accommodation, which didn't state anything about the bedding, but were still charged. £25 seems a bit excessive, for removing bedding from three beds when cleaning the property between guests.

View was glorious. Showers were fantastic!
Found beds in twin room uncomfortable

Great views
Parking was not great especially with two cars. Was disappointed to not find a dish cloth or pan scrubber. There was no hand soap or shower gel, You would expect a few basic items when you arrive especially as the place is in the middle of no where.. The property was cold upon arrival and took a while to warm up not so good when you are there with a 6 week old baby. Toilet seats were both loose. If this is normal please explain this when you send details, was only informed to bring dishwasher tablets.

The views from the balcony were stunning, clean facilities and had everything we needed. We loved the open plan living room on the top floor. Really peaceful location but short drives to all beaches
When we first arrived the pool was a bit dirty but we did see somebody cleaning it later
