This was the perfect location for us to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was amazing, and the staff made wonderful recommendations for hikes to take and places to eat. The Inn is beautiful inside and out!

Breakfast was made to order and very good. All staff were super friendly and helpful.
We stayed in the beehive which is on the main floor. Walls are thin so you can hear all traffic and at 6am....the kitchen staff was preparing. If your early riser than this is the room for you. If you like sleep past 6am then this is NOT the room for you. Bed was comfortable . Bathroom a bit small with corner shower. Ideal if you are smaller framed people. Carpet in halls could use a deep cleaning or replacement. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful! The covered porch is sweet to relax!
Early noise
Small shower

The location was fine. It was about a 10 minutes walk to town. The building looks like it is well maintained from the outside. The staff was friendly, yet ultimately let us down.
We booked a "standard king room" yet we we're given the least desirable ("economy" room according to the hotel). It was right next to the kitchen where they prepare breakfast beginning at 6AM. The noise and smells from the kitchen were very disturbing. In addition the door lock and shower head were both broken when we arrived. Nowhere in the description did it state the location of the room (which we paid almost $250/night) or that it was considered "economy". When I spoke to the staff about our room, they stated that always try to avoid putting guests in that room, yet even though they were not full, they apparently decided not to move us. We were very disappointed to say the least.

Location great
Breakfast good, on time, friendly service.
Good table selection, inside and outside
Keep up on front yard landscape for
Street appeal for business.
No negatives really.

the dining room and outdoor dining room lovely. great artwork. beds comfy.
microwave, fridge, ice machine.
staff not super informed about the vegan options we had requested. we couldn’t really get the free breakfast deal. no oatmeal no vegan bacon or sausages or vegan eggs. others feasted while we watched. 😟 no hooks in the bathroom to hang anything on.

Clean room, comfortable beds, excellent location,
Our room was located on the same floor as the reception and kitchen area ( second floor). I thought maybe because it was at the end of the hall it would be okay. I understand staff have a job to do however both mornings I awoke at 630a due to the noise level. I would recommend this hotel however I would not recommend staying on the main floor if you like to sleep in on vacation.

Walking distance to downtown and Hannaford
The breakfast was nice, but we preferred the buffet they used to have before the pandemic

Thoughtful touches and wonderful breakfast make this a great place!
Our room didn’t have a chair in it. Chairs are nice to have in rooms especially when the bed is so high!

overall location was great
no security. Some guy was sleeping on the stairs passed out. which is a tripping hazard and considering the way the world is he should of been removed from the property. I mentioned it to the staff and just got he didn’t fall are his eyes open…. um no he is passed out on the stairs and I am not sure what to do. management should take the precautions and train their staff. so no one to blame but management and the property for not taking and having security for paying guests. I will never stay here again unfortunately. was hoping to in the future but will pass.

I paid way too much for my stay.

Breakfast was fine but, again, for a $500 room, not memorable.

Breakfast was very good. I was expecting buffet style but guests had one of two options plus your typical breads and jams. I would imagine one could have asked for seconds but a single serving was fine for us.
For the high room rates that guests are paying, I would have expected our room to be done to perfection. I think a 3 year old could have made the bed better. I did show the picture to the front desk and even sent an email to the inn keeper hoping that a credit of some sort would have been offered, but nothing other than we are so sorry. The inn keeper did not even respond to my email which was disappointing.

Everyone was very friendly. Rooms were large, clean and well appointed. The main areas were comfortable and relaxing. The Inn is half a mile walk to the shops and restaurants in Bar Harbor, which is very convenient.
The breakfast was average. The best part was Coffee, bagels and yogurt.
