Great location and view of the Bar Harbor
I liked everything about the property. The air conditioning unit in the room was sounding like it was about to give out very noisy.

Location
Dated, run down, bathroom was in need of repairs

Really big room, lovely fireplace which helped given the weather. Front desk staff really helpful, pool very good, parking easy. 10 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from Arcadia NP - perfect!
No onsite restaurant for lunch/dinner, otherwise all good.

The breakfast at the Looking Glass was excellent! We ate there 2 mornings, and the omelette was delicious. As was the blueberry chili sauce. Great food, excellent service, gorgeous views.

Great view, comfy bed, excellent breakfast, proximity to town Square and acadia superb. Piano player is awesome!!
Decor is dated

Wifi lagged a little. Price and for the money you pay, some type of complimentary breakfast provided would have been nice.

Got a room with a view over the harbor and really loved it. Very spacious and great lighting. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed drinks in the lounge with the excellent piano player. About 15 min walk into town.

Room had a great view of the harbor
Maid staff was iffy. Missing towels, dirty dishes (coffee cups, drink glasses not replenished without complaining to front desk) not the kind of service expected for the money. Although we had a great view, it was over a noisy highway. Even though a restaurant was advertised, it wasn’t on the premises it was on the other end of the property and was only open for breakfast.

We loved the size & set up of the suites. They were awesome!!
I would have liked a low key breakfast included, but not a big deal.

Close proximity to Acadia national Park and restaurants. Very kid friendly. My kids love the piano player at night. It was a great way to end the day. Everyone was very friendly and staff was very knowledgeable

Wonderful place to stay while visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The room was perfect and the entire Inn is immaculate and charming. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was the perfect destination to relax on a rainy day. Beautiful view from our room of the beautiful harbor and it’s in walking distance of town. Highly recommend for a classic Maine vacation.

We drove from Boston and arrived very later. The staff called to check with us. All hotel staff are very nice and friendly.
The hotel is at very convenient location and close to park and 10 mins walking to Bar Harbor downtown,

The hotel keeps its style from an old time but it's still functional... and also very charming. The room was more than spacious and there was also a fireplace to complete the scene. The beds were nice and the temperature was so stable that we didn't need any blanket at all. Breakfast was served in a beautiful place, specially for early birds who like to enjoy the sunrise.
The heated pool was not properly heated, but only kept slightly above shivering temperature. WiFi was useless all over the property, which was inconvenient for me as an international traveller without an US internet plan.

We had a lovely room with an ocean view. The room was spacious with a fireplace and balcony. View was wonderful; we even watched the cruise ships load and unload passengers.
Large room but only two drawers for clothing. Spacious closet, but more dresser space would be good. Also a 15-20 minute walk into town, downhill going in, and uphill coming back.

beautiful views, comfortable room.
the restaurant (serves breakfast only) was impossible to get in to—inexcusable when paying the price we paid. Service was slow. other than our server, no one smiled.
