The location was fantastic and close to town
The lack of facilities, (no fridge, no safe, no tea and coffee facilities in the room) The short time span for breakfast 8-9.30 and the lack of space available to have that breakfast. I shouldn’t have to ask for the room to be made up when paying 500 a night.

Wonderful B&B, they are so welcoming and you have the feeling of being at home. The room was pleasant and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was so good along with the afternoon sweet treats. We parked our car for three days and absorbed all there was about Bar Harbor everything was in walking distance. Wonderful!!!! Perfect ending to an amazing vacation thank you Hearthside Inn ❣️

The breakfast was great! And the beds were comfortable. We ran into an issue where loud maintenance/contract work was being done right outside of our door, and were nicely accommodated with an upgraded room on another floor. Julianna and Brittney are incredibly friendly and gave wonderful recommendations on everything from food, to hiking trails, to little shops/services in town. We totally recommend!!!

The breakfast was amazing! Gourmet quality! Also, loved the afternoon fresh out of the oven baked goods. We had brownies, m&m cookies, oatmeal raisin cookies... The ambience is welcoming and makes one feel right at home!

We had a wonderful time at the Hearthside Inn! It felt just like home - really cozy! Also, the breakfast was delicious and the afternoon cookies and sweets were a real treat. The location is also quite nice as you are literally 200m away from the Main street.

The breakfast was excellent. Not only was it delicious, but the presentation was amazing. Every day was a different menu with a sweet and savory option. The chef was accommodating to dietary needs. We loved starting our day in the cozy breakfast room.
Not one complaint. It was excellent!

The hostesses Olivia and Juliana were really nice, caring and helpful. The cooked breakfast was good. The location was close to the town centre. The decor of the place was very pleasing. The lounge with its gas fire was comfortable. Tea, coffee, hot apple cider and baked stuff were available all day.
We rented a 'Queen room' for more than 500 $ per night (We paid $1087 for 2 nights). The room was tiny, I bumped my head against the sloping ceiling trying to get up from bed to go to the bath room at night. The room was cold at night and we had to request a space heater at 11 pm when the room became almost freezing. The shower was smaller than a modest broom cupboard. There were only 3 tables for breakfast each with four chairs. Breakfast is served between 8 and 9.30 am. You may have to wait for a table, share a table with others, sit in the lounge or outside on the patio in the cold (blankets provided on request) for breakfast. There is room for parking 5 cars at a push, Street parking permitted between 6pm and 9 am.

The bed and breakfast was the perfect place for us to stay. The breakfasts were very good and plentiful. The staff would get whatever we needed during our stay. The hotel was small and on a one way street which provided little street noise from cars. The location was just a few blocks from the Main Street and made it easy to walk everywhere. Highly recommended.

The breakfast we had was excellent. The service was terrific and friendly. They went out of their way to be accommodating. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.
The bedroom we had could really use a vanity in the bathroom for storage space for cosmetics. Also parking in front is a bit limited.

Hearthside is a small Inn on a quiet side street yet easily walkable to the center of town. The Innkeeper was truly a gem who made every guest feel extra special. She even made us a special to-go box of chocolate covered strawberries for our trip home. The breakfasts were gourmet quality & delightfully different each morning. There was always a selection of home made treats waiting for us when we returned to the Inn. We sat outside on a little side porch in the afternoons enjoying our "happy hour." These are the little extra touches that set Hearthside Inn apart from the others.
