Beautiful views from room. Clean room. Easy access to the Island Explorer shuttle. Friendly staff. They offered HUGE, tasty cookie in the evening in the lobby area. Linens were super clean.
The beds were a bit too firm. The breakfast was okay…..potatoes and French toast were hard to eat as they were actually hard. But there is a lot to choose from their breakfast options, so breakfast wasn’t a total bust.

The view is breathtaking and the location is good. Room is generously large.
Breakfast was very disappointing and didn’t match the pricey rate being charged.

We liked the view and breakfast and cookies midafternoon. The lady at check in was incredibly warm and friendly
I did notice a couple of ants on the floor of our room.

Everything.
Nothing.

The sofa bed was broken and the staff proposed a provisional solution for the night. Booking accorded us a partial refund

Staff was friendly and helpful! The views were beautiful! Gardens surrounding the property were gorgeous! Everything was clean and comfortable! Second time staying here, we will be back!

The View! The pool!
It’s a hike into town (about a mile) if you don’t want to fight traffic and troll for a parking spot. But I’d stay again for the view, the pool and the quiet 😊

Location
Outdated, not very clean, bug ran across the bed once I moved the pillows

For a last minute trip it far exceeded our expectations! Very clean, super nice staff, perfect location!

Clean and no surprises !
Staff was friendly completing any request quickly!
The bus ran every half hour,
I was so grateful I didn't have to battle for downtown parking spaces! It is a great place for kids. I woke up to find a deer laying in the grass just beyond my balcony view.
I'm going to come back next year. Perhaps with my 8 year old grandson.
Would have preferred a fresh rather than a salt water pool.
Maybe more help using the large cart when transporting my luggage .

The views were amazing!!! I liked the location too and breakfast was quite yummy.
The only thing I didn’t like was that we had to somewhat share a porch with neighbors beside us. I had children so they probably didn’t like that we were ruining their peace and quiet.

Unfortunately the weather was cold, cloudy and rainy, but if it hadn't been they have a nice outdoor pool overlooking incredible scenery! We had a balcony overlooking incredible scenery but the weather didn't cooperate!
Breakfast was warm, adequate, but nothing special. They have hot water and coffee 24/7.

balcony view great;
friendly hotel staffs and informative;
great breakfast w long time & great views;
good location near parks and downtime;
room size confortable w two beds and sofa and small dining area
all doors facing parking lots and outside , not too privacy;
no indoor pools or hot tubs, the outdoor pool most of the times not open because of whether, just decoration

We loved being on the top floor and having a fantastic view!

The view was exceptional.
The room was huge and overall clean.
Breakfast was pretty good and staff very nice and attentive.
The view was exceptional and THE criteria when choosing the stay in this hotel was using the balcony for the view. But when all the property is carpeted, even balconies, the carpets start to mold and that was unfortunately the case on our balcony and also the staircases and hallways. So we couldn´t go out on the balcony without stepping into the wet mold carpet and spreading it across our room. Why put a carpet on a balcony in an area where it rains and snows so often and when the rain gutter from the roof spills all the rainwater right on the carpet. Don´t get it.

The view was spectacular! The room was large and spacious with a great kitchen area. Downstairs breakfast was hot and fresh each morning with lots of options to choose from. The room and hotel were very clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. The location to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor could not have been better. I would have loved to have been able to stay longer! I will definitely be staying here again.
The elevator was a little slow. I realize that is a silly complaint, but this hotel was so great that it is the only thing I can think of that could have been better. :)

The view was exceptional. The breakfast was extensive.
The hotel was far from other restaurants and did not offer dinner service. There were no restaurants nearby that offered delivery so make sure you eat dinner or get take out before going back / checking in.

We loved the balcony view - 3rd floor. Property location is perfect. Short drive everywhere and you can walk downtown if you choose - less than a mile.
