Great location, friendly owners and really good breakfast
Room was nice, but beds were a bit short and could not get jet tub to work

Nice and quiet close to everything and just a short walk to the water.
It was clean and the owners were very nice

The warmth and friendliness of the Innkeepers made us feel like family. The specially prepared breakfast would be considered gourmet in any 4 star Hotel. The old fashioned claw foot tub was a relaxing joy to behold as well as the large glass enclosed shower. The views of the Bay from our room and private deck were breathtaking. Having a fireplace in every room added an additional ambiance to an already beautiful setting.
The only thing we didn't like was that our stay was not longer.

Creative and delicious breakfast on sunporch with a view.
Warm and welcoming innkeepers with masses of good information, written and oral to guide one's stay.
A real treat: heated/radiant bathroom floor for my cold feet in the morning!

Located in Bar Harbour at the seafront. Walking distance to restaurants.
Very nice hosts an the best breakfast ever.
Room towards the road, but it was not noisy in the night.

Home made breakfasts were delicious. Rooms were spacious. Bed very comfortable, lovely linens. The hosts were warm, inviting, knowledgeable, friendly. Can’t say enough. Beautiful location on the water. Stunning views.
I would love to return. Just outside the busy Bar Harbor village, but still walking distance.
Nothing!

The location was perfect, right on the water with incredible views and a huge private lawn, while also being walking distance to town. The property was absolutely lovely and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very nice and welcoming. Loved this place and would absolutely stay there again, I only wish we had been able to stay longer.

Perfect location from which to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Close to ferries, tours, restaurants and shops. Stunning location with a porch looking out to Frenchman Bay. Great breakfasts and charming hosts.
My partner found getting into the rather high bed difficult.

Breakfast was great and the owners very personable. I would recommend.
Another choice for breakfast. Some folks do not eat "heavy" in mornings.

Breakfast was amazing, location was awesome, right on the water and close to Main st. Matt was Great, he was very knowledgeable of the area and gave us great advice and great recommendations.
honestly there really isn't anything I didn't like, we had a suite on the 3rd floor and there is not seperate thermostats so it was a little warm, but cracked a window a little and was very comfortable.

My stay at the Saltair Inn was a great experience. The location of the B&B and the hosts made it even better. Matt and Kristi were welcoming and answered all questions. Also, Kristi is a fantastic cook and each morning's breakfast was delicious. The Saltair Inn is within a short walking distance to downtown Bar Harbor and a 5-10 minute drive through the back entrance of Acadia National Park to the top of Cadillac Mountain to watch the sunrise/sunset. Truly, a convenient location. I will definitely stay at the Saltair Inn on my next visit to Bar Harbor.

It was a beautiful Victorian house with a lot of charm but recently updated. It was conveniently located in downtown Bar Harbor near shops and restaurants and the land bridge to Bar Island. The Saltair also had a beautiful lawn that overlooked its pristine private beach. Matt and Christy were gracious hosts and thought of everything. The breakfast there was the best breakfast I have ever had!
Absolutely nothing!

Good location.
We were notified of a family emergency and had to leave early on our first day so we could only stay one night instead of the planned two.
After explaining our emergency to the owners we could not get the second night refunded - or even partially refunded - so we paid over $900.00 for a one night stay!!!
