Enjoy a relaxing respite at this beautiful spot in the Historical District of Fredericksburg. The property is next to the Old Jail,within walking distance of all that Fredericksburg has to offer.
The house boasts a large porch with ample seating,a living room with satellite and internet access, two bedrooms and two baths,and a powder bathroom .It sleeps four comfortably. There is a dining and living area and a full kitchen for your convenience. Outback in the common area you will find seating under the pergola .We are within walking distance to the local nightspots, restaurants and shopping. The Rickerhaus is just a block off Main Street close to every single restaurant, shop, or wine tasting you would want to visit in town (yet it is still very quiet). Everything is easily walkable. The house itself it was one of coolest places we have ever experienced. Around every corner there is something new to see. The creativity in the decor is just mind-blowing and really captures what the area is all about. Our communication with Laura was great and all amenities were as described. Highly recommended.

Everything at Ricker Haus was wonderful! Very clean and had everything I needed including peace at night so I could sleep! Darling cottage! Will definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay in this gem of a home. If you like eclectic antiques, more space than a hotel room and a great location, this is a retreat for you. Communications were great, the welcome package amazing, and the home is sooo charming. We did not do a lot of cooking, which was good as there is not a dishwasher, but the kitchen was fully stocked for a lovely coffee or simple breakfast. Thank you so much for a pleasant stay.

This house was exactly what it said in the listing, very clean and decorated beautifully! The location was great, we walked to everywhere we needed to go all weekend. Only concern was the A/C, it is set and can not be changed. We prefer to sleep much cooler than this and the window unit in the master was out of order. But, fortunately after long days of wine tasting and much more we were so tired we slept anyways! lol! Overall great experience and we will stay again!

Most darling cottage and location was ideal! We loved the shabby chic/ farmhouse decor and how clean and pristine the cottage was! Fabulous cottage, actually bigger than expected. Had a wonderful stay with my step mom. Laura considered all the things needed and then some. The location is perfect for visiting Fredericksburg and the landscape is meticulous (I’m a plant nerd). Will most certainly be back for the next trip down!

This precious house is perfectly located behind the courthouse on Main Street. The location is awesome because you can walk to all of the shops and restaurants. You can drink all of the wine you want and you don’t have to drive because the house is super close to everything. I rented it with 2 friends and there was plenty of room for all three of us. The beds are super comfy and it has nice towels & linens. The house is decorated like a fancy farm house. We enjoyed all of the very cool decorations and also goodies the host left for us. (There were bagels & cream cheese and a giant danish in the fridge and lots of coffee❤️) I had to contact the hostess to figure out how to lower the temperature in the house and she responded within a minute of me reaching out. She was awesome. I would definitely rent this house again.

One of the best places I’ve stayed! Great location that’s just a short walk to everything on Main Street, easy check in and out, beautiful decor and well appointed with everything we needed. This was a perfect spot for a weekend away to celebrate my birthday with friends!

This house is an ideal location if you love spending time on Main Street. No driving necessary. The details in the home decor were like in a magazine. Adorable. The master bed was very comfortable and all of the little extras the homeowner left us (bagels, cream cheese, chocolate covered pretzels, sparking water and the coffee bar) were enjoyed. We will definitely be back!
