We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Listing is as described but more! Beds were comfortable. The kitchen has everything needed for meals including the little things you thought you forgot. Be sure to stop at a grocery store on the way to town. Comfortable living space and a huge deck overlooking the stream. Kids enjoyed exploring around the rocks and watching the deer that came to visit each day.Everything was very clean.

Our daughter was married in the Sequoia Park and Eddie and this house was the perfect getaway from the hustle of the planning and celebration. The temperature was HOT during the day but mornings and evenings were enjoyed on the back deck listening to the river in the back yard. Eddie and Laura were great to work with. We ended up coming into town a little later than expected and they were in touch with us throughout the journey and left some lights on for our night time arrival. Although we didn't have a ton of time at the house, it was filled with all the amenities you could need!!!

Enjoyed our stay at the river house, especially the outdoor area.

This is our second trip to the River House in the foothills of Sequoia National Park. The house has an amazing view of the river out back. There is a large deck and it is so tranquil to sit outside and listen to the sound of the water. There are birds of all kinds that make the riverbed their home. We especially enjoyed watching the mother ducks teach their babies how to fish. The house has every amenity you could possibly need and even though it was a particularly warm weekend the air conditioning kept us comfortable. The house has close proximity to Sequoia National Park. We especially liked river rafting in the town of Three Rivers.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Three Rivers. It is truly right on the river, which was nice to enjoy after our trips into the Parks. Great location and accomodations, very convenient to Sequoia and Kings Canyon. We would definitely stay here again.

This spacious home is the perfect combination of seclusion and comfort. I love that the home feels very personal and welcoming. The interior is the perfect combination of upscale and eclectic... It is a quintessential vacation house. The attention to detail speaks volumes about the effort and care invested by the hosts.
We stayed for 3 nights in early June. Indoors, you can barely hear the river. Once you step outdoors, the sounds of the river wash away your stress.
The fabulous deck is completely gated and enclosed, and makes the house feel twice as large. While there are other houses next door, they're situated in way that you simply don't notice them. They seem non-existent.
We would happily make this home an annual destination. You won't be disappointed.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. Eddie was easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions promptly. The property itself was fantastic. We enjoyed breakfast, afternoon cocktails, and dinner out on the deck while watching all of the bird flying around and listening to the river rush by. The beds were comfy and we had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to friends.

We stayed at this home for three nights with our dog and it was perfect. The backyard was a dream with the river flowing by – a haven for relaxation. We really enjoyed the huge fenced deck as we could sit outside and not worry about the dog roaming. The owners also had lots of amenities for him which was a really nice touch. The interior was cozy and well-appointed and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook amazing meals. The hosts are incredibly accommodating and communicative and made our stay hassle-free and enjoyable. For outdoor adventures in Three Rivers or moments by the river, this place is a fantastic choice and we would definitely return!

Eddie and Laura are wonderful hosts and their home exceeded our expectations in every way. The beauty, the privacy, the roominess, and the hospitality of the hosts combined to make a perfect getaway. The home is extremely well appointed with thoughtful touches every where we looked. We hope life brings us this way again.

If you’re heading to Sequoia NP or just need a break away from it all, do yourself a favor and book this house. Huge back deck right on the river. Great place to disconnect from it all while still having amenities

The home was in a small neighborhood on a river. It was very peaceful to the point of falling asleep on the deck listening to the river flow! Sequoia National Park is only 5-6 miles away, which is why we chose the location. The owners were helpful and kind. They even left a welcome basket of goodies! We especially appreciated that this was a pet friendly property since our dog travels with us!!

Stayed for three nights with my wife and another couple to do some hiking in Sequoia. We were sad to leave this place when it was time to go. They've thought of everything and their attention to detail is off the charts. The river was spectacular. Very easy access right off the deck with beach chairs down at water's edge. Boulders and rocky/sandy bottom made the water very inviting - loved going in it every night! The house and amenities were awesome. The house is large and spread out - we couldnt even use it all it was so big. The two bedrooms we used were spacious, clean, and comfy. The third bathroom was a nice bonus. Every amenity was thought of - all the spices and cookware you need, plenty of towels (including extra beach towels), cleaning and paper products, and the best gas grill I've ever cooked a steak on - it was as close to being at our own home as we could've gotten, without needing to buy all of the basics. Access to the park was great and we loved the fact that there were multiple food options just a couple minutes away. We left this place and headed to another vacation rental at Yosemite (which we paid more for) and realized how spoiled we were at this place. Simple things like no salt, no laundry detergent, no toaster, not even a pan to cook with! It was a reminder that you never know what you're going to get, but what I do know is that this place and its very responsive and caring owners won't let you down.

We (myself and my two children with their spouses) were here for five nights for a family reunion. The house, located on a culdesac, is well equipped with modern conveniences; it has a huge deck along the river, which had enough water flow even in mid-September to produce a calming sound as it flows over the rocks. We enjoyed having breakfast out there, as well as hanging out there in the afternoons.
One note on the layout of the rooms: The 3rd bedroom is semiprivate in that one has to pass through it to reach the masterbedrooom. Not a big deal for my family, but worth mentioning.
The entrance to Sequoia Nat Park is only about 15 minutes away, but be aware it then takes another hour of driving on many switchbacks (going from 900' to about 7000') to get to the main areas where the Sequoia Trees are. It's well worth the drive, and we did it daily, but it was a long commute.
Would we stay there again if we're in the area? DEFINITELY!!!

After weeks of trying to find a Mission Bay, San Diego rental that wasn’t $800+ per night and the size of a small apartment, we decided to try something different. I came to Three Rivers as a kid (40-45 years ago) and wanted to bring my kids. This house is amazing, especially the back of the house! The deck overlooking the river was our favorite spot. The house was clean and well equipped. The previous renters apparently destroyed the BBQ and the property owners purchased a small grill for us to use since there was no time to get a whole new BBQ. We really appreciated their hospitality and would love to come back again!

If you travel as a family, you deserve to stay here. This house is well supplied, the market in town has all the essentials. The beds are comfortable after a long day of hiking in the parks. The expansive deck is the perfect place to relax. Our family of 5 loved our stay. Thank you for sharing your home.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was a perfect location to base from when visiting the park. The river behind the house was flowing and the a/c kept the house nice and cool despite the heat. The house had everything we needed including some deer in the front yard in the evenings. The host was fantastic, and we really appreciate everything.

We (three generations: spouse, teenager, me, my in-laws) came to Three Rivers to visit family who live in town but don’t have room to host five visitors. We couldn’t really have picked a better place to stay! First of all, as East Coasters, we were waking up early and got to take advantage of the deck before the sun hit it (it was *very* hot last week). The river is right outside the back of the house and gives off a wonderful cool breeze in the mornings. I sat out every morning and watched the birds. It was heavenly! Second, the house itself is very well equipped. Our bed was comfy, the water pressure is great, the tap water tastes really good, there are multiple seating areas, the grilling setup is top notch, and the kitchen has everything you need. The knives are actually functional, which is rare for a rental! When we had a small issue that needed attention, the owner was quick to respond and fixed the problem. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat if we are fortunate enough to return to Three Rivers!
(One tip if you visit Sequoia NP: get up early, go to the park at like 7/7:30 and don’t plan to visit any vaguely popular area of the park past mid/late morning. It gets crowded, especially on summer weekends, and parking becomes an issue.)

Our stay was fantastic! Laura and Eddie have thought of everything! This was a great base for going out hiking, including the trek up to the sequoias. Laura and Eddie were also very helpful with ideas of things to do when our horseback riding was suddenly canceled. Loved every minute of our stay!!

Property is an older home but is in good shape and has a great back deck right on the river. We had an excellent stay and would recommend this location. Great spot for visiting Sequoia National Park. Even though most park access was closed due to road damage we found plenty of adventure whitewater rafting and hiking. Owners were very nice and welcoming.

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at this lovely home. The owners took extra steps to make us feel welcome including a sweet note and much-appreciated snacks. Communication with the owners was excellent and it's clear they care a great deal about their guests. The river was beautiful during our stay and the deck is outstanding!

Family of 5 vacation. Due to the size of our family we pretty much always use VRBO and this place is one of the best if not THE best place we’ve stayed. The house is sprawling but honestly we spent all of our time, when we weren’t hiking, out on the deck. Plenty of covered seating right next to a roaring mountain stream and very steep mountain on the opposite side. Check in and communication was flawless. Owners were very helpful with tips about the town and surrounding area and the birthday card for my son in the welcome basket was a really nice touch! Highly recommend.

Our second time to this home didn’t disappoint. Everything was just as we remembered except that the river was full and stunning this time. We slept with the bedroom slider open so we could hear the river while we slept. Everything in the home was just as advertised and we will definitely be back for a 3rd trip eventually. It has already started to feel like coming home and has quickly become our favorite place to vacation! Thank you, Laura and Eddie!

This is a great place to stay and relax as the river roars in the back yard or to use as your base camp for a visit to Sequoia National Park. Once you get on the deck, you may find it hard to leave. The house is well appointed and is the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in. Laura and Eddie are great hosts and I give them and this property my strongest recommendation. We will definitely stay there again if we ever make it back to Three Rivers!

Amazing home on the riverfront. The hosts have thought of every amenity. The house was so comfortable the only complaint I have is that the vacation went by to quickly. The deck overlooking the riverfront is incredible and so peaceful to sit and watch the wildlife. Thank you for everything, hopefully I will be back!!!

We stayed with our two teenage boys and everyone had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the house had all the extras you need, with easy instructions on where everything was. The property is in a great location, easy to get to, and close to town. Once you are at the house it feels very private and we enjoyed relaxing to the sound of the river. The home was also very clean and the beds were comfortable.

It is a short drive to the entrance to Sequoia National Park and the community of Three Rivers has everything you need. Inside tip, the BBQ at the local supermarket was awesome!
