About this house rental
This house features 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathroom, and around 3400 square feet. It comfortable sleeps 18 people. It has just been updated with new kitchen, bathrooms, appliances (washer and dryer included), firepit, furniture, etc. 3 miles outside of Spicer, MN. and 10 minutes from Wilmar. Short drive from the Twin Cities. Brand new dock for your use and you can launch your boat at the boat launch or rent a boat from nearby Spicer or Wilmar.

We have been coming here for a few years now and it's a great place with plenty of room for a larger family. We like that's very private and great space outdoors for games and easy access to the boat landing. Overall a beautiful property on the water.

We are a family group of 16 that stayed over the 4th of July. The property is beautiful, clean, and was large enough for our family. The lake a quiet and close to town amenities. Bonus - two refrigerators and two washers/dryers.

We loved our stay at this beautiful home! There were 12 of us + a dog and there was more than enough room to spread out. Outside seating areas were awesome. The yard is beautiful and allowed us lots of room to play games. Two sets of corn hole boards/bean bags are provided by the owners, which we appreciated so that we didn’t need to drag our own along. Kitchen was well stocked with new pots and pans. We brought a pontoon and did some fishing from the dock and the boat. A couple of suggestions…the “beach” area is not as depicted in the photo. In fact, it’s almost nonexistent, Two families with kids went to a local beach so they could use the beach toys that they brought. A lamp in the living room would be nice for those that wanted to hang out and read at night. Bedding was comfy but could use a few new pillows. We always bring our own so we were good but a few mentioned that they were like pancakes. All in all l, we had a terrific stay! We will definitely return if we come back to the area!

This property was very clean and very kid friendly. I liked the simplicity of the home. There was enough space to fit my entire family in the home and plenty of space outside for the kids to run and play. I would highly recommend this place and we plan to return next summer!

Lots of room for the 17 of us that were there. Great family memories were made. Had everything that we needed. A huge yard for all of our yard games, great fire pit, and nice dock on the lake and the lake was somewhat green but we enjoyed tubing and lots of fun.

Our family had a great stay at this home. It was large enough for all of us to have space to spread out. The AC worked great as it was super hot that weekend. Things you should be aware of. There are no blackout curtains in the bedrooms so the light shines bright early, especially in the room with the queen bed. If you don't bring a sleep mask be prepared for a spotlight in your face early! Also, the cookware was in rough shape. Dangerous to use as it's completely scratched up Teflon. The kitchen was very well equipped otherwise, bring your own pans though. Also, there is no ambient light except for one lamp in the master. There are no reading lamps in the bedrooms, no lighting other than overhead lights in the rest of the home either. The living room was huge, but only had one large sofa with no coffee table or end tables so it made it not the best of gathering space unless you want a dance floor lol. One finally thought, this is a beautiful property, nice, but weedy lake, no dock fishing, but caught a few nice Bass out on the lake. You will hear traffic off in the distance, it wasn't a big problem but if you are looking for complete nature sounds only, you won't quite have it. So to sum it up, bring sleep masks, reading lights, and pots and pans and you'll have a terrific stay!

We had an amazing time! The grounds were great for the kids to run and the house was big enough to comfortably accommodate our group. The only downside to this property was the wifi connection. There was almost no cell service at the house.

We had a lovely time at this property. The property itself was clean, plenty large to accommodate our group of 7, beautiful views of the lake, etc. Our host was easy to communicate with from start to finish. The only thing that *could* be an issue for some is the wi-fi/cell service is sketchy at best. We found other things to do like pay attention to our friends/family so it wasn't an issue for us. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great view, right next to boat launch, and spacious yard that the dog loved. Saw deer everyday! Very spacious house, large bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen is nice and functional. Easy to find and 10 minutes from town.

We stayed with our cross country team and had tons of space to bond inside and outside. It was a great location to run and explore for the week. We were forced to disconnect a bit too since the wifi was not strong enough for everyone to use at once. Overall it was a great environment and we would definitely consider staying here again.

Would recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in the area. House is very nice with plenty of room for a large group or family. Plenty of room outside for any activities or games. If we look to come back to this area we would stay again.

The yard was beautiful and spacious for outdoor games and activities. Access to the lake was convenient with the boat access right next to the property. The neighborhood was quiet and the road had little traffic and is nicely shaded for a morning run. The lake was bigger than we expected, but shallow (14 feet at deepest) and very murky. The kitchen utensils, dishes and storage containers were minimal to lacking. The pots/pans were in rough shape. The exterior of the house needed a good cleaning as there were many spider webs and dirt that had accumulated in corners and in window tracks. The interior walls and windowsills could use a good cleaning as well.
In spite of the modest accommodations our extended family of 18 had a good time on the lake and playing many games in the yard.

House and yard was spacious and worked well for the grandkids. House needs a good overall cleaning. Fire pit was great but no wood, matches/lighter, poker provided. Needs to state in description that wood is not provided.

Our only disappointment was when checking midweek for cabin availability same week for next year, it was Not available. We have always had “first right of refusal “

Perfect secluded lake house
I absolutely loved our stay: Plenty of room between the next property, very secluded. Perfect getaway. The lake is accessible from the property. The backyard is huge for the kids to run around . My only comment is the Wi-Fi is slow so if you’re planning on working, make sure you have another way to connect to the internet.

We really enjoyed it! Was hoping there would hair dryers and maybe an iron since we had a funeral come up but overall we all agreed to rent again!!!!

Was a great place to stay, great location! Plenty of space for everyone. Very nice that's its secluded. The "beach" area was totally weed covered, so that was a little bit of a bummer, but overall a great experience!

Great house and location
We traveled to Willmar for a Hockey tournament and hotels were limited so we booked at this property. It worked out great for our group. Very clean large house which easily hosted a large group when we needed to kill time during the day. I highly recommend!

Another wonderful stay
We booked this property last year for our annual Halloween and it was a blast. Great location in front of a lake and not surrounded by neighbors so we can be as private as we want. Property has all the amenities we needed for our stay (except missing a hairdryer). Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

30th Birthday Bash
I was looking for a place to rent for my 30th birthday that was big enough with enough room for sleeping along with semi private so we can be out in the yard playing games and not worry about disrupting next door neighbors. The backyard was nice and large to play cornhole and have chairs around to watch. The property had 2 cornhole sets so we didn’t even need to bring our own. We didn’t use the firepit but it was beautiful with plenty of chairs. The sunset was incredible. The kitchen was perfect where we had enough room to set up another table for food to be displayed. Bathrooms were nice and spacious so multiple people could get ready at the same time. Enough beds in each room. It was clean and had what we needed in the kitchen for the items we didn’t pre make. I would say the only minor thing was that the beautiful backyard had nice fluffy grass but it was long and had rained Friday night and Saturday morning so when we went to place cornhole in the back the grass was wet and long. Not a huge deal at all. Just had to make sure to not track the grass inside. Overall an amazing stay that we created so many fun memories in a short period of time. We were already looking to rebook in the summer for our yearly family summer vacation but this place is so amazing that they are already booked up most of the summer. Highly recommend this property! Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful Time with Friends
We enjoyed our stay here. The house was beautifully finished, very spacious and clean. Matt vas great, and responding to our questions immediately. The back and front yard were huge. Our two dogs felt like in heaven, and slept for days after we returned home :) We wish we had a few kayaks on the property to enjoy the lake too.
We'll definetly come back.

Wonderful!
Cabin had optimal space for our group, plenty of storage (and an extra fridge in the garage!), was clean and well stocked with essentials. Lake was quiet which was nice - felt very private. Matt was easy to work with and communicated well.
Rocky shore (and in the water) so bring water shoes for the kids!

We had beautiful, hot summer weather for our 3 families to enjoy a lake property in Spicer, MN. Unfortunately, when we asked the owner just a day before our arrival about the swimability of the lake, we were met with no insight because he said he had not been to the property all season. We had 8 kids who couldn’t enjoy the lakeside as we had planned, and we ended up driving out to a neighboring lake for swimable water each day. The lake this property is on is hardly transparent even with your hand just beneath the surface. Water conditions were unsuitable for swimming and water activities, the only reason our three families chose to spend money on a lake property. There is also no real beach area and shore is all rocks. With that said, had the owner disclosed the water conditions, we could have at least prepared some water fun for the yard space. We’re Minnesotans who recognized that the status of the lake may have been questionable and just wanted to be prepared for the hot weekend with all of our kids, and it was disappointing that the owner made little effort to give us any information.With that said, the indoor space was well kept and adequately prepared for our families. The towels were plentiful for bathing and beach, and there is washing and drying access so we could clean suits as necessary. The house was air conditioned and the fridge space in the house and garage made it easy to store food for all of our meals and fun drinks. We also appreciated the sizable water tank for hot water for the fourteen of us. There was plenty of space for eating and preparing meals. There was also bean bags available that I wish we would have known about so we didn’t haul our own set along. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again merely because we paid to stay on a lake and we weren't able to enjoy the lake we stayed on.

Water was completely green so we could not go in the water at all, pictures online show a nice shore with rocks and sand- there was none of that.
House was great, would be nice to have a fan in every bedroom due to walls very thin and can hear everything

Relaxing & Fun Getaway
The property was very nice and spacious inside and outside. The lake wasn’t very busy which was nice for us to enjoy our water activities. Happy to return again in 2022.
