About this house rental

Our waterfront home is a little slice of paradise just waiting for you! The cabin is nestled back from the street providing just enough privacy. The moon lights up the sky, the sun sets over the over while you are barbecuing on the deck. The fresh salt air will relax you as you watch the eagles, birds, seals and deer along the private beach and around the island. This gorgeous setting is perfect for boating, kayaking, beach combing and long walks around the island. On the beach and in the water you will find beautiful pink starfish (low tide), small crab, jellyfish and sand dollars. Watch out, occasional squirts from sand-buried Geoducks might surprise you! A fire pit sits close to the water for evening s'mores. Sun umbrellas and chairs fill the deck hanging over the bulkhead. This serine private island is perfect for family vacations, romantic weekends, a place to gather old/new friends or for those of you attending an event at Fair Harbor Marina. French doors lead to an outdoor deck with a table/chairs, gas barbecue and adirondeck chairs. Upstairs on the third level is a bonus room (this is where the kids will want to hang out) tv/game table Downstairs on the bottom floor are two bedrooms, a full laundry room, a bathroom with a shower and a lower deck off the master bedroom with a wonderful view of the water. There are TV's on all three levels. The backyard has two grassy areas, a fire pit overlooking the beach, a picnic table and lower deck that sits right over the water. The water is a short walk through the backyard and down some steps. We have water blow up toys 4 kayaks, tetherball and lots of life jackets that can all be used.

Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 10:00am.

This is our 4th stay at this cottage/cabin. We love everything about this place. Fully stocked with everything you need to cook, relax and play in the water. It comes with one of the best views of the water and boat Marina, and many places on the property to sit and read a good book. You won’t regret you stay here. We can’t wait to come back.

If I had all the time in the world to describe the perfection that is Darci’s home, I could fill a book. It’s a perfect little slice of paradise, brimming with all the comforts and warmth of home. Stepping inside feels like entering a Pottery Barn magazine, nestled in a meticulously landscaped oasis. This enchanting retreat will undoubtedly become a cherished staple for our family’s annual holiday.

Beautiful home and property...our 3rd stay. Out of all the vacation homes we've ever stayed at, this kitchen is fully stocked with so many dishes, silverware, and nice pots and pans which I really appreciate. Can't wait to return next summer!! Darci is an amazing owner to work with.

The home is very welcoming. Does not feel like a rental at all. The grounds are extremely well groomed and the home is stocked with everything you need. Nicely decorated it shows pride of ownership and the view and seclusion is perfect. Access to the water is a wonderful walk down a short manicured trail.

This place was amazing! I Can’t even begin to explain how beautiful the landscaping was. The pictures do not do it justice. The house was cozy and well equipped. Out of all the Vrbo places we’ve been to this is by far the best. Would book it again tomorrow. Darci was attentive and welcoming. We will be back for sure!

This vacation opportunity is just magnificent. The owners have taken such pride in their cabin, that everywhere you look is a new surprise of joy. There were so many wonderful places to sit and relax inside or outside in their beautiful landscaped property, that I didn't have a chance to sample them all. Several leisurely kayak journeys around the island were a relaxing experience, thanks to the supply of kayaks on the property. Everything one could want or need is included in the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our 7 day respite!

With every stay we feel right at home. The gardens and landscaping are more beautiful every year. The home is cozy, clean and always equipped with everything we need. Definitely my favorite VRBO property. We appreciate the access to the kayaks and quiet spaces on the property.

Amazing house on the water and great for families

This waterfront cottage is BEAUTIFUL! The house is cozy and great for families. We had wine on the various porch/deck areas each night of our stay. My adult kids kayaked in the sound and loved it. We grilled out on the deck for dinner and lunches and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The beds are comfy and cozy as well. This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Darci’s special getaway and it is always an anticipated treat! The cottage is both spacious and cozy and beautifully appointed. We lacked for nothing in the kitchen or otherwise and we utilize the kitchen quite a bit over thanksgiving! Set on meticulously manicured grounds you will be in your own private oasis with a view of the marina directly across the water. Kayaks are available for a quick paddle around the island and beyond and the neighborhood is terrific for a full island walkabout at anytime of day or night. We have been routinely greeted with thoughtful touches and delightful lighting when we arrive and could not be more thankful to be able to share in this special home. Many thanks as always!! Peg

Wonderful Fall Girls Get a Way

Me and two girlfriends had a very relaxing stay at the Treasure Island Cabin. The cabin is SPOTLESS and comfortable, very well appointed with everything you need for a terrific vacation. The grounds of the property were breathtaking with the fall color, and we had a lot of fun walking around the small island, and the beach. We had a blast even though it was rainy and windy, it was such a special place to be warm and cozy inside with good friends. Thank you to Darci for being a great and communicative host.

This was my second time staying here. Beautiful property. The house is wonderful with everything you need. Comfortable & relaxing. Kayaks, paddle boards, multiple decks with great views of the water. My favorite thing is the when the lights come on at night around the deck & at the Marina across the water. My sister & I even saw a doe with her fawn wandering through early one morning. Great location!

Wonderful place to stay. Very quiet neighborhood. Really nice West facing view looking at the marina. The personal touches in the yard and home made it feel very comfortable. Well stocked, had everything we needed. Landscaping was very well done and maintained.

Quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Comfortable home. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful landscaping with plenty of quiet spots for reading, enjoying the view or having a meal. Loved taking the kayaks out. Lots of sea life to see when there is low tide, and a nice view of Rainier if you go the entire way around the island. Convenient to Shelton and Silverdale if you need thr “big city”.

Looking for a water destination? This is it!

We just spent two weeks staying at this beautiful property. We had our daughter and her family join us for a wonderful vacation of kayaking, playing games, barbecuing and enjoying nights around the firepit on the deck. The water views from every room are fantastic and the landscaping is just beautiful. We so enjoyed just relaxing on the two decks. Our grandchildren learned how to kayak on this calm stretch of water and we made a couple of trips around the island! This home was hard to leave as we felt like we lived there! We will be back. Darci returned messages promptly and the owners were great to work with.

Surprising warm touches on every visit - The perfect place to relax and enjoy nature and family, with countless amenities. We have stayed 6 times , and find new adventures on each visit. Our daughter and 2 sons climbed nearby Mt. Elinor , and we also spent an afternoon horseback riding. It was always wonderful to come back to this meticulously maintained gem. The property is perfect even if you never leave!

We spent four wonderful days at Treasure Island Cabin. This home has everything you could want. Waterfront perfect for boating, kayaking, swimming and just lying around. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the view or have a fire. Fully equipped modern kitchen. Perfect for cooking family meals. Comfortable beds. Top view deck with seating and barbecue. We love this home! Can’t get back soon enough for us. Darci is so easy to work with and has done a beautiful job decorating and landscaping.

This was the perfect place to getaway for a few days. The house was spotless and the yard was beautiful. There is everything you need, including kayaks. Darci was very responsive when we had questions. We even had a lovely set of flowers waiting when we arrived. The island is perfect for walking and everyone is welcoming with a wave. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property! The house was delightful, had everything that was needed for a five day vacation. The deck and bbq area was great; we even has some bright, sunny weather to enjoy all of the outside. Lots of stairs so was difficult for the elderly in the family but ALL enjoyed it. The hosts were very helpful. Will look forward to renting again.

We had a wonderful stay with relaxing views right on the oceanfront. Our 3 kiddos aging from 2-9 thought this was the coolest house ever with the loft “movie room”. My husband and I were able to relax on the patio near a gas fire pit while the kiddos played in the grassy lawn. A must stay!

We loved every minute of our winter getaway! The house is setup so that you have amazing views from. every room. We were happy just to curl up inside and enjoy the blissful scenery. Would love to come back in warmer weather to appreciate the outdoor spaces more - the waterfront ammenities are really lovely.

I cannot rate this vacation rental high enough. The location on Treasure Island manages to feel both remote and be really close and easy to get to. This is hands down, the cleanest and most well-appointed house we've ever rented. It's so lovely the way it's decorated, the views are beautiful and the kitchen has everything you could need. The owner responded really quickly to all questions and we felt really well taken care of.

Raining until our last day when the sun peeked out but it was refreshing after all the Smoke in the northwest. Cozy & comfortable. Something for everyone . Looking forward to another stay!!!
