About this house rental
The Eagle's Nest is a beautiful, family owned beach house, right at the edge of the Pacific Ocean. Having a NO PETS policy allows us to maintain our property in pristine condition. The Eagle's Nest is cared for with pride, decorated in a cozy beach feel, and celebrates the history of the area. The house, with it's amazing 180 degree views, is built on the exact location where the southern wing of the 3 story, 270 room Moclips Beach Hotel once stood in the early 1900's. They knew something about location back then too! With more choices emerging at the beach, we pride ourselves in providing an atmosphere that keep our guests returning year after year.
Our large open floor plan is perfect for family vacations and has proven to be an exceptional retreat for families, quilters, scrapbookers, book clubs and more. Our private sleeping areas pamper you with quality linens and comfortable beds. Our goal is to make you feel so 'at home' you won't want to go home. Curl up by the fire, host a holiday dinner in our well-equipped kitchen (recently remodeled, complete with beautiful quartz countertops and a large dining table seating 10), do a puzzle or use your laptop at our game table, or watch movies on one of our 4 TV's---our home is perfectly suited for almost any occasion with the bonus of a breath-taking oceanfront view. All flooring updated in 2021 with plush carpeting and luxury vinyl plank flooring.
We have three decks: the upstairs 'Eagle's Nest' has it's own private deck perfect for a morning cup of coffee, sunbathing, or to watch our beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine; the main deck wraps the north and west side of the house offering unobstructed viewing from 2 ample benches; and the large lower deck hosts our hot tub and deck chairs. We have a well-maintained yard complete with a cozy picnic area with table. A private roped walk through the dune grass leads to the wide, sandy beach just waiting for you to explore. Beach fires, kite flying, sand castle building, shell collecting are all within steps of our front door. The beach is very gradual, and is one of the few area beaches excluded from any vehicular traffic (April 15-September's Labor Day Week-end), which makes it a great place for small children. We are within walking distance of the Moclips River which offers exploring along it's shores and trails of it's moss-clad forest.
For Pacific Northwest beaches, we offer it all! We are the closest you will be able to be to experience the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean.
Come experience the best, The Eagle's Nest, and create your own memories!

Located reasonable distance to Quinault Rain forest and Kalaloch beaches a bit longer drive to Hoh rainforest.
We also enjoyed relaxing beach walks and views from the house were amazing.

Another wonderful stay at Eagles Nest. Everything is wonderful and so completely thought out.
2 suggestions (take it or leave it, we'll be back)!
1) Kitchen blinds facing the neighbors are greasy and dirty to the touch.
2) a privacy screen between hot tub and parking...
Again, LOVED our stay.

Fantastic experience for our family at Moclips! By far, the cleanest VRBO we’ve rented. Great decor, well appointed kitchen, tons of parking, loved the hot tub, close proximity to the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything (but the weather) was perfect. We went running on beach, flew kites, knocked around a volleyball, and played catch during the day and did puzzles and hot tub in the evening. The house was perfectly located in a scantly-populated PNW beach neighborhood looking up towards a tree-lined cliff and offered amazing sunsets, comfortable beds and a well-supplied kitchen. I would (and hopefully will again) rent this amazing property.

The house was a perfect short walk to the water - my elderly parents were able to walk from the house to the beach with no problem! The kids also loved the puzzles & games that were in the house. We will come back!

We loved our stay- the location cannot be beat! Private trail to the beach with no cars allowed in peak summer months! The house was great, with comfortable beds and the washer and dryer is a lifesaver when you go through so many towels and clothes everyday! You do need to bring your own laundry detergent (laundry soap sheets are a great space saver for packing!). It feels secluded but is super close to Seabrook, which has a grocery store and some fun restaurants and a coffee shop. Overall, we loved it, my kids were in heaven and we can’t wait to go back!

This is our 2nd time staying here and our family just loves it. It’s clean, you have the beach to yourself, the hot tub is the kids favorite and you have all you need to stay home and relax. We will visit again!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay in June. Weather was cool but very little rain. The location was great as the beach was only lightly populated and made our stay more peaceful. The kitchen is well equipped and met all our needs but best if only a couple are working in there at the same time. Easier said than done when three generations are there with different needs. Beds were comfortable. The fireplace puts out more than enough heat when you come in from the beach. We loved all the windows in the living room and kitchen. The great light and view made it very pleasant as the family played games, cooked and ate.

My women’s group and I have stayed at multiple properties over the years and after staying here we’ve concluded our search for the perfect place. Very clean, comfort and ease on every level. Very comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, ridiculously gorgeous view and easy access to the ocean. Sparkling clean and hot, hot tub. Plus it just feels like home not like a hotel-like house. Also the river is just a short walk up the beach which adds another dimension to the beach exploration experience. Highly recommended.

We had the most amazing trip at the Eagles Nest! The location of this beach house is perfect. The views of the ocean from inside and outside are the reason you go to the beach. This beach house is also full of Moclips history which makes it even better. We will be returning!

Fantastic Family Vacation!
This beautifully decorated ocean front house is a dream for families who just want to hang out together at the beach. The short jaunt along the trail to the beach is perfect, the views and sunsets are gorgeous and the house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. This was year two for our family and we plan to make it a yearly tradition!

Great house right on the beach!
We had a fantastic time staying at The Eagle’s Nest. We loved the direct beach access with only a short walk. The views were incredible and it was nice and quiet. Even when the weekend came and the houses around us filled up too we didn’t have any sound issues. Loved exploring the beach and easy access to Ocean Shores and Olympic National Park. Plenty of towel hooks which we really appreciated! Nice hot tub that the adults enjoyed after the kids went to bed.

Perfect house for family reunion
The Eagle’s Nest is the perfect beach house! My brother, sister and I plus our spouses gathered to celebrate my sister’s 70th birthday. This could not have been a better location. Loved everything about the house, the view, the proximity to the beach, the hot tub, the kitchen, the corner glass table perfect for playing cards, the comfortable furniture and beds, the decorations, the history, dinner at Ocean Crest. We will be back.

Beautiful oceanside retreat
The Eagle’s Nest is a lovely little retreat, so close to the majestic Pacific Ocean that you can take your morning coffee right on the dunes. The view is simply splendid - almost 360 degrees of ocean! The Masters are wonderful hosts - excellent communication, an easy rental process, and a beautiful home shared with us. They made us feel like friends visiting from afar. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Very highly recommended!!
